How to assign a help search

Hi masters,
i need to create a help search F4 for a standard field in tx ME51N. The field is AFNAM, it is located in the table MEREQ3211GRID. I created the search throught tx SE11 (zhelp_soli) and it works well.
Now, how can i assign that help search to element AFNAM? I can't modify the standard table, because it asks me for a code. Do i need to get the permission from SAP to add that help to that field?
I thought that i must be done without asking for the code to modify standard tables in SAP.

Hello Miguel
Structure MEREQ3211GRID is used only within a very few program objects. I had a look into function group MEGUI and there is apparently no exit to modify fieldcatalog properties.
Therefore, the easiest solution should be to modify the structure. For this you need the modification key for object R3TR TABL MEREQ3211GRID.
Then you can add the search help field to the structure field MEREQ3211GRID-AFNAM.

    Dear Team,
    Have created Characteristic value variable with processing type as user entry/default value for the char 0PLANT.
    Master data is having values #(Null Value);1001;1002;1003;1004:1005;1006
    Transactions are posted for only 1001 and 1002.
    When i try search help for the variable,displays Null Value(#),1001 and 1002 even though i selected posted values in the info object BEx tab,query designer and at info provider level also
    Please guide me how we can hide #(Null Value) in the search help as there is no transaction with plant value as " #  "

    Hi,
    the BP search is its own web client UI component. For the integration you could check any standard transaction UI component like the BT115H_SLSO, as those contain several partner fields.

    You can find the search help using their table and fields name.
    simply you have to point the cursor on same field for which you want to see search help in SE11.and then in same window search help tab available click on this..
    It will show all search help which is having same field.

    In complex standard of search help S_MAT1 has added the additional of search search help ZTEST_SEARCH, now I wish to remove the additional  of search help ZTEST_SEARCH, but at removal attempt the error stands out: "Because of use in objects of the dictionary it is impossible to spend removal".
    We look magazine of use for additional of search help ZTEST_SEARCH - shows use only in standard of search help S_MAT1. And how to be, how to remove additional  of search help?

  • How to keep help search on my photoshop only

    Seems like the help icon becomes more and more fuzzy to use.  How can I keep the searches I perform in photoshop searching only photoshop, and only my version of photoshop? When I select "Adobe.com" under the search box I expected that to happen, but its still finding things in other applications and way different versions.  On the right the drop down is set to photoshop.... but no option to say which photoshop.
    It took me a very long time to find something that should be easy.  I was getting hits all over the place, clear out of my application and some were as far back as PS3 when I'm searching from cc.

    If they were bought from itunes, Once they are fully downloaded you can watch them without any internet. They play locally.

    I'm working in Illustrator CS 5, but this question really applies to any Adobe product:
    How do I get the Help search to limit results to items related to the actual program I'm using, and to the subject I enter in the search bar?
    For example, if I type "join" in the search bar and select Illustrator from the dropdown menu, and check "Adobe Reference Only" the first 6 items I get are about javascript and SQL programming. This happens for any help search I do. I assume there's a way to get useful results from the Help search and I'm just missing it.

    In addition to what Monika said, if some unwanted added word(s) fill the top of the search, you may add -[unwanted word] for the/each word after the wanted part.

    the settings in MN05 for PO.
    NACE is the Tcode used to link the Application type, Output Types and its processing Routines like ( Driver programs and attached Script forms or Smartforms).
    You should know the Application of a document first Like:
    for PO it is EF, for sales Doc's it is V1, for Delivery docs it is V2, for billing Doc's it is V3 etc.
    so first select the Application type (ex: EF) for PO and press OUtput types
    then a list will come in that you should know the related output type for PO.
    select any outtype and click on the processing Routines button on the left side
    it will display the Medium, Driver Program and the Script form or smartform related to that document..
