How to assign a name to the combobox in a report

Hey guys! I hope you're fine and still have some energy left for another question!?
I have a report with several columns. Column f03 is displayed as a text based on an LOV and linked to the database. Now I need to give that combobox in column f03 a name so I can use it in a Javascript query in order to deactivate the combobox conditionally.
Do you have an idea how this can be achieved?

If it returns the same ID for each row then there might be a way to use it in further coding! Great!!!
ID is unique. Every item and tag should have unique ID in HTML document.Elements may have a [valid ID|http://www.w3.org/TR/html401/types.html#type-name] [that +must+ be unique within a document|http://www.w3.org/TR/html401/struct/global.html#adef-id].
An attribute that "returns the same…for each row" would be *class*. This can be specified in APEX_ITEM calls using the p_attributes parameter:

I will briefly explain the scenario:
I have created return po.
Process MIGO w.r.t. return PO- Material document generated.
Process: J1IS - excise invoice other movement create.
--> Now I want to print the document --> I m trying with T-code J1IP --> entered all the required data --. Used out put type - J1I0
But I am not getting the list of document for printing and even print is not coming.
There is no print document getting for a printing.
When I checked in an above said table (mentioned in question), I found that for transaction type OTHR, there is no number ranges defined for official document no.
And because of this reason I m not getting any document in the print.
Can you Pl extend Ur help and Pl suggest me where (path or transaction) the number ranges can be maintained for the official excise document No.

     1. Field Status Group for Profitability segment (T.Code : OBC4)
     2. Select the automatic account assignment (T.Code : OKB9)
     3. Select the PA Transfer Strcuture , direct posting from FI and MM.

What i get is in the end that in the ComboBox in this case i call it cmbxNetwork i see in it many items all start with Win32_ For example when i click on ComboBox i see the first item is: "Win32_NetworkAdapter"
Instead Win32_NetworkAdapter i want to see in the ComboBox only: NetworkAdapter But when i select the item it should be selected as Win32_NetworkAdapter but the user should see and select only NetworkAdapter.
I want to remove as test from the ComboBox items the Win32_ But only that the user will see it without Win32_
Also in the constructor when i'm doing now: cmbxNetwork.SelectedItem = "Win32_NetworkAdapter"; so instead if i'm doing: cmbxNetwork.SelectedItem = "NetworkAdapter"; it will be enough. THe program will use the "Win32_NetworkAdapter";
but again what i see and user in the ComboBox as item is only the NetworkAdapter

Do you mean that you want the ComboBox show the value of “NetworkAdapter” in the text, but when you refer the value of the cmbxNetwork.SelectedItem, it will be “Win32_NetworkAdapter”? If so, I am afraid that you need create your own ComboboxItem and override
the ToString() method to return the text you want.
You could modify the code below for your own achievement.

actually I have built a custom FIleDialog. I am getting a tree structure in my JComboBox. But I am stuck at one point whenever I click on the directory that is shown in the table the name of the directory is added to the comboBox under the parent directory and is selected by default and it's contents are shown in the Table now my problem is that if I have the folder whose name is same is it's parent directory and when I click on that it's contents are shown in the Table but the it's name is not added in the comBobox instead it shows me the parent directory. Infact it should add the name in my Combobox and get this one selected not it's parent with the same name. I want it to work like file dialog. Like in FileDialog if we have a parent directory and child directory with the same name they are shown and selected properly, I am trying to do the same way but no success.So to get arround this I was thinking if I can use the JTree instead of directly adding nodes to my TableModel. Or any hints how to get arround this. I do have the custom renderer and model too. Thanks for any help.

How to add an item in the combobox list at runtime

i want to add an item to the list of items in the combobox. How can I do this? I tried to use the methods getselecteditem() and getitem() from the actionlistener but no success.
so after i add an item, the next time when i run that frame, that item should be displayed in the list of items in the combobox. Can anybody help me with this?

Let me explain you the whole design -
I have a frame having textfields and comboboxes. Now in the combobox, i have added some fields during design time and some i want the user to add at runtime. After the user clicks the Save button, i want the new string if entered in the combobox by the user at runtime to be added in the list of items of the combobox. So the next time when that frame is run, the item added by the user at runtime previously should be there in the list of items displayed in the combobox.
What I am trying to do in this code at the combobox is if the user enters a new string in the combobox, then if he presses enter key, the value entered in the list of the combobox should be entered in the list of items of the combobox. Actually i m just trying to get the item typed in by the user, so just testing with enter key, but really i want it on the button click. I tried to add the code for adding an item to the combobox in the actionperformed, but i m not able to add it so confused what to do. Please help me with this.

How to assign a class to the material through ABAP code

Hi,
I am working on a transaction in ABAP which takes material name, material description and a class from the user. Now, after this much input I create the material, its configuration profile through the ABAP code. For this I know I have to make relevant entries in tables MARA, MAKT, CUCO.. and also check for the existence of the class in the table KLAH.
Now the point where I am stuck is that I am not able to get how to assign the class to the material through the code. I am able to get the internal class id from the table KLAH but I am not able to figure how the internal material number is being generated in the table INOB and i need this number as well as the internal class id number to insert a record in the table KSSK to show proper assignment.
Can anyone please suggest me some solutions?

Hi,
I tried using BAPI_OBJCL_CREATE. In order to understand it functioning better I created a material and class (of type 300) through transactions MM01 and cl01 respectively. Then i created a report and called the FM BAPI_OBJCL_CREATE, gave the material name as the material above, table as MARA, class as the one i created above and class type 300. I even analysed the message of the table return (return-message) after executing the report. The messahe said assignment done. But when I checked mnaually in cl20n there was no assignment done to the required material. There was also no entry for the required material in the table INOB which I need.
Can anyoene tell me that where am i going wrong? Please do help.

2) Activate the Business Content DataSources (tcode RSA5).
Select/enter the application component and choose Execute (F8).
To compare the shipped and active versions, choose the 'Select Delta' pushbutton. If there is no active version of the DataSource, it is selected automatically.
To activate the shipped version, choose the 'Transfer DataSources' pushbutton.
3) Management of the versions of the BW-Adapter metadata (tcode BWA5). All DataSources are displayed that are managed by the BW Adapter.
As in transaction RSA5 (Service API Metadata Activation), the 'Select Delta' function can be used to select the inactive DataSources or compare shipped and active versions.
You can also go directly to the screen for maintaining DataSources that are managed by the BW Adapter.
The 'Compare Version' function makes a detailed comparison of the shipped and active versions.
All BW-Adapter metadata is considered when versions are compared:
Header information (Table SMOXHEAD)
Mapping information (Table SMOXRELP)
Global selection conditions (Table SMOXGSEL)
Attribute key fields (Table SMOXAFLD)

We want to follow a certain file naming conventions for the artifacts generated by wscompile.
How is it possible to set the name for the service interface file, service implementation file etc....
This is possible in AXIS ant task Wsdl2Java. How do we do it for wscompile.

Thanks Chris and c. Under Description I'm presented with three Names for the profile: ASCII, UniCode and Mac Script. ASCII and Mac Script are the same name for the profile, with nothing being in the UniCode Name box. Which do I change -- both?
Am I going to screw things up in Photoshop if I change these names to something I can comprehend? Looks like I may just have to make a sticky-note list of the cryptic profile names with my own descriptive name as a reference. Thanks.

Our scenario is like below:
Sending files from an FTP server to another FTP server without using the integraiton repositary,and the file name is not changed .Now, we want to also send the file to some with by mail adapter.The scenario now works by using two business services in receiver determination.But the name of the attachment is "untitled.xml".We know how to set the file name staticly,but how to set the name dynamicly according to the source file name ?

That's not possible. It's a plain text field containing email addresses and cannot be styled.

My sessionscope variable holds the value of currently selected column in the table. eg:empname of the currently selected column which is in empdetails table...
I want display the schemes available for the selected employee in the next table..The schemes are in another table named empschemes which has the empname and empschemes as column
I have created a vo for empschemes table with bind variable 'scheme_bind'..I need to set the sessionscope variable '#{sessionScope.empname}" to the bind variable.
Its urgent,..Pls do reply asap

You can use
adf.context.sessionScope.get("YourSessionVariable")this code for assigning VO's bind variable value.write this code where you create bind variable and do not forget click on expression radio button.
