How to avoid login page in List Tree

Hi group,
I am new to APEX and I have added a tree list to my application.
The problem is when I click into the link of the tree list, it always redirects me to the login page.
Is any setting that I am missing?
This tree list was created into the page "0".
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Francisco

  • How to avoid blank page in the report?

    adding a field in the grouping and checking the page break option means then we are getting blank page as the first page of the report? How to avoid this blank page?

    Usually blank pages appear as first page due to the presence of filler lines (//////) on top of report header.Please ensure that the top header is exactely started from top of page itself.

    Hi Senthil,
    Please see the below points:
    1. Please check what have you defined as the NEXT PAGE for your first page. If so change it and make the first page itself as the next page.
    2. Check your main Window, may be there is blank line at the last of the main window, so check that abd remove that,so you won't get the blank page

  • How to create a page that lists available Oracle Reports to execute?

    APEX Version: 3.2.0.00.27
    Database: Oracle 10g XE
    Hello! I'm fairly new to APEX and adapting to the features and terminology related to this product.
    I don't think this issue is unique to Oracle Reports, but rather the concept of a page that reads from table (maybe a "report?") to provide a result set of data which the user can click on a result to direct to another page.
    In any case, I have a table in the database which stores all the attributes (report title, parameter names, RDF name, etc) of about 100 Oracle Reports. So far, I've successfully created an application page that features Items that are used to execute a single Oracle Report. Now, instead of creating unique individual pages for each of the 100 Oracle Reports, featuring the report's attributes (parameters, etc), what do I need to do just have one APEX page that dynamically reads from the table and builds the Region and its Items based on what's in the table? Furthermore, I would like to have an initial page that lists every report available to the user, which they can then click on the name, and then it will take them to the page that presents all the parameters needed to execute the report. How to do this? I understand there is a concept of List (under Shared Components), but it would be impractical to create a List and an entry for each report, and then branch to the parameter page...not to mention, whenever a report is added or deleted, the List would need to be updated.
    Can someone give me some pointers on how to approach this? It doesn't seem all too complex, but I just don't know at this point what the most practical way of accomplishing this...not sure what kind of pages, region, items, etc to create.
    Also, any reference books that you guys recommend on the ins/outs of APEX? I realize Oracle has documentation, tutorials, and OBE's on this product, but from what I've seen they aren't thorough enough in explaining what each property/attribute of the various objects that can be created in APEX.

    but rather the concept of a page that reads from table (maybe a "report?") to provide a result set of data which the user can click on a result to direct to another page.You are on the right track with the idea of an initial page with a report region listing your reports as links. Not sure from the provided information if this out of the box capability will meet your actual requirement, but try the Create Page wizard > New page > Form > Form on a Table with Report as a first approximation.
    instead of creating unique individual pages for each of the 100 Oracle Reports, featuring the report's attributes (parameters, etc), what do I need to do just have one APEX page that dynamically reads from the table and builds the Region and its Items based on what's in the table?If this can't be handled using the built-in Form on a Table with Report design pattern, it sounds like it will be possible using a dynamic form generated using the [APEX_ITEM API|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/appdev.111/b32258/api.htm#BGBHDGAI] either as another report region or a PL/SQL Dynamic Content region.
    Also, any reference books that you guys recommend on the ins/outs of APEX? [Pro Oracle Application Express|http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/reader/159059827X/ref=sib_dp_pt#reader-link], the authors of which are active voices on this forum, is a good book. • How to avoid extra page

    HI all,
    I am getting my ouptut in smartforms . But the problem is i am getting an extra page with logo at the end. How to avoid that?
    Here i am using only 2 windows. LOGO window and main window.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Check your main window and see whether there are any blank lines inside your main window... if that is not the case check whether you are using any command and calling the new-page in smartform... if yes.. goto command and un-check the tick box goto next page.
    Close the thread once your question is answered.

  • How to create login page for application with jheadstart

    Is there a how to section for jheadstart?
    After reviewing the jheadstart developer's guide. I am still left with lot of questions:
    1. how to create a login page to allow access to an application using username/password from a database table
    2. how to change the title graphic (jheadstart demo) to (my application)
    3. how to execute a query by hitting enter instead of a mouse clicking a button
    Any suggestion to search for such practical questions in this forum or other blogs and such is appreciated.

    Mahin,
    You can set Authentication Schemes for your applications. If you are using Application Express Authentication, you can create additional users from here:
    1. From Application Express home, click Manage Application Express users.
    2. Click Create to create users. To create end user, select "no" to developer and admin.

  • How to modify login page

    Hello,
    I am using Oracle Applications 11.5.10 and I need to modify the login page by adding a custom message.
    How can I do that?
    I have also tried to personalize the FND_SSO_SARBANES OXLEYTEXT, but my message is too long and if I put it there the message don't wrap in multiple lines (is it possibile to wrap this message?).
    Thanks in advance.
    Bye
    Raffaella

    there is a profile option FND_SSO_LOGIN_MASK that u can use. U can set this value:
    Bitmap values for optional Login Page attributes
    To show these attributes, just add the numeric values of all desired
    attributes. So, for example to show PASSWORD_HINT and FORGOT_PASSWORD_URL
    set the profile option, FND_SSO_LOGIN_MASK to 18 (2 + 16)
    Converting decimal 512 to hexadecimal
    512 / 16 = 32, 0 (remainder in hex)
    32 / 16 = 2, 0
    2 / 16 = 0, 2
    So decimal 512 is 0X200 in hexadecimal
    128 = 0X80, 256 = 0X100
    final int USERNAME_HINT = 0x01; // 1
    final int PASSWORD_HINT = 0x02; // 2
    final int CANCEL_BUTTON = 0x04; // 4
    final int FORGOT_PASSWORD_URL = 0x08; // 08
    final int REGISTER_URL = 0x10; // 16
    final int LANGUAGE_IMAGES = 0x20; // 32
    final int SARBANES_OXLEY_TEXT = 0x40; // 64
    Also u can use the Framework to change some picture

  • How to prevent login page in same browser when user is already authenticated

    Hello,
    I am using Jdev 11.1.1.6 with ADF security implemented in my application.
    I have Login.jspx that redirects the user to Home.jspx on successful authentication. User can either enter Login or Home Page URL.
    Please consider following scenarios:
    a) User is not authenticated in current browser session
      a.1) if user enters Home page URL then Login page is displayed and redirected to Home page on authentication
      a.2) if user enters Login page URL then Login page is displayed and redirected to Home page on authentication
    b) User is already authenticated in current browser session, a new tab is opened and
      b.1) if user enters Home page URL then it directly shows Home page (already authenticated)
      b.2) if user enters Login page URL then Login page is displayed -- this is the issue, it should either directly take user to Home page or invalidate the existing session and let user proceed with new.
    How do I achieve this? Any help is highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Jai

    Thanks Frank and everyone for your help.
    I am able to achieve what Frank suggested using phase listener. We don't have a custom phase listener but I created one and instead of configuring at global level, just defined the ControllerClass in the pageDef of my login page.
    Code from afterPhase is:
        public void afterPhase(PagePhaseEvent pagePhaseEvent) {
            if (pagePhaseEvent.getPhaseId() == Lifecycle.INIT_CONTEXT_ID) {
                FacesContext fctx = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
                String viewRootId = fctx.getViewRoot().getViewId();
                if ("/pages/login.jspx".equalsIgnoreCase(viewRootId) &&
                    ADFContext.getCurrent().getSecurityContext().isAuthenticated()) {
                    try {
                        String homeViewId = "pages/home.jspx";
                        ControllerContext controllerCtx = null;
                        controllerCtx = ControllerContext.getInstance();
                        String activityURL =
                            controllerCtx.getGlobalViewActivityURL(homeViewId);
                        fctx.getExternalContext().redirect(activityURL);
                    } catch (IOException ioe) {
                        _logger.logException(ioe);
    My only concern here is that I am hardcoding the login and home page url. Is there a better way to implement this?
    Thanks,
    Jai

  • In ADF Tree how to Navigate to Pages When Clicking Tree Node   (TP4)  ?

    hi
    I know how to use af:tree as master-detail tree
    by draging detail views from Data Controls and dropping in JSF
    Page but I would like to know how to call other pages when double-clicking child nodes in the tree. in JDeveloper 11 TP4 & Windows XP
    Anybody can help?
    best regards
    Forakora;

    Hi,
    if it has to be a double click then this can be done with a clientListener that calls a JavaScript function and that you set to the doubleClickEvent type e.g.
    handleTreeSelection(event){
    // do here what you need to do
    queue event to a serverListener that references a managed bean. Use managed bean to
    navigate to another page
    Out of curiousity, what is the usecase ?

  • How to avoid login prompt when viewing reports

    Hello,
    I am trying to access a report that I have put in the shared reports folder
    I have copied the URL, see below, from the copy shortcut link.
    However I am being prompted for a User name and password
    http://server:port/OracleBAM/12345/reportserver/default.jsp?Event=viewReport&ReportDef=6&Buttons=False&ReportParameters=()
    Can you please advise
    a) If I can bypass or default a username and password in the URL
    b) If the above is not achievable then do I need to set up each person, viewing the report, with a username and password and somehow pass these credentials in with the URL.
    Thanks in advance,
    Kevin

    Hi Kevin,
    I am sure its too late to post a reply for this question but it will be useful for others.
    Yes, you can bypass the login prompt by implementing SSO to the BAM with a default username/password.
    You can write a simple java code to simulate the process of submitting a login form, thus allowing users to access weblogic protected resources, like BAM report URL, without re-entering the username and password in the login page.
    You can use HTTP client API to simulate Form Based HTTP Authentication. It will have to first post HTTP request to authenticate default user 'weblogic' and then from HTTP response get the cookie and pass it to the subsequent HTTP request (with the report URL) to access protected resource.
    I had the same requirement and it worked for me :).
    Thanks
