How to bring the url in one line ?

Hi Experts,
- I have used a Url in the smartfrom.
- When the link comes through in an email it the format seems messed up because it's forcing it to be all on one line. I think it might work better if it was possible to make this a hyperlink instead of typing the whole address.
Can we try the basic <a href="http://cgtapp61.esc.win.colpal.com:8061/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_ui_frame/default.htm?sap-client=321&sap-sessioncmd=open">CRM System Login</a> - Like this
Is this possible in the smartfrom ?

In the smartstyles -->
create the character format -->
Font tab -->check the check box underline and color blue.
save and activate.
In the smartform inlcude smartstyle in the output options tab .
Create the text node select the text and display as URL.

You can try grabbing different properties, and they will print out differently, displaying the data on the same line in some cases. For example, pipe your output to a "foreach-object" block, and then for each object print out the CounterSamples property.

This should all print on one line now. However, you also asked if there was a way to not have the server print out on every line. The way to control the format of these outputs is to use the "format-table" cmdlet. So you would pipe your output to format-table
and then give it various options. This is how you would pipe it (without any options).

   Bring more than one row into main window of script.
   For this you need to do some changes for data which you pass to main window.At a time you need to pass more than one row,so for this you need to define one structure.See below code.
Types:begin of ty_rows,
     include structure (your row_structure),
     include structure (your row_sturcture),
Types:end of ty_rows.
for example....
If i need to pass 2 vendor details at a time to main window then the structure should be like this.
Types:begin of ty_rows,
       vendor1 like lfa1-lifnr,
       vendor1_name like lfa1-name1,
       vendor2 like lfa1-lifnr,
       vendor2_name like lfa1-name1,
      end of ty_rows.
Data:i_main type standard table of ty_rows,
     wa_main type ty_rows.
Based on condition you can pass more than one rows of your actual internal table data to i_main internal table.
Then you can pass i_main internal table to your main window.
    I think this will help you.

If we attached the any files, files are stored in the fnd_lobs table, pickup the data from the fnd lobs table and stored in the local system but if attached the url type how to open the url type.is there any standard ?

You can do it one of two ways:
1. Insert some CSS that will change the target to "_new".
2. Change the field that the user enters information in to a single line of text, then create a calculated column that is:
=CONCATENATE("<a href=",[URL Field]." target=new>Click here</a>")
Format that as a number.

No man, itas not comming..I am using the below logic to print my message:
CONCATENATE text-I01 lv_printdate1 text-I02 INTO lv_printname
SEPARATED BY space.
MESSAGE i002(zm) WITH lv_printname.
its printing in a single line...

Hi,
Look for the system field SY_TABIX. That will contain the number of records which have been put into an internal table through a select statement.
For ex:
data: itab type mara occurs 0 with header line.
Select * from mara into table itab.
Write: Sy-tabix.
This will give you the number of entries that has been selected.
I am not sure what you mean by the second question. If you can let me know what you need then we might have a solution.

Hi Rammohan,
You cannot use OPEN DATASET to transfer data from application server to presentation server.
You can do the following :
<b>Do 1st point in BACKGROUND</b>
1. Read the data file from application server into an internal table using OPEN DATASET
<b>Do 2nd point in Foreground</b>
2. Once you get the data into an internal table, then use FM GUI_DOWNLOAD to download it on presentation server
You cannot use the above 2 point together in Background because its not possible. Hence you need program it partially in background and partially in foreground.

Problem in printing the amount in one line in script

iam facing a problem in scripts
1st line: fifteen lakh thirty th
2nd line : ousand three hundred
instead i need in this way
1st line: fifteen lakh thirty thousand
2nd line : three hundred
ie if the line is not suffienct and if its breaking the word, it should not do that.
it should not break the word it should print in next line.
I dnt want the text in one line..
I want to split when the there is a space before 35 chars in first line
How can i do that.

Writing all the rows in one line but cannot write more than 32767 character

i am trying to write the column of a table to a file with the '||' seperators. i want to write all the rows in one line of the file.
for E.g

C D
in the file the output needs to be gone like
A||B||C||D
but after 32767 character it gives a write error. could please someone let me know what is wrong with my function below or how can i write more than 32767 character in one one.

/Check your logic very carefully. You are using UTL_FILE.PUT() which should not automatically put end-of-line characters i n your file but you are reassigning l_seperator with p_seprator after the first time.
What value are you pasising in as p_seperator?
UTL_FILE.PUT() should allow you to write a string of bytes without newlines as long as its arguments are less than 32K, and you can control when the newlines get written. If your arguments are > 32K can you split them up without writing the newlines until you need to do so? Try something like (untested)

How to read the content in one node of XML in Java? Pls help

My dear brothers,
I am a newbie of XML, I have a exercise which is creating a Tree View from XML file. But the trouble is I do not know how to read the content in one node of XML file. I decide to use the algorithm as following:
1. Create a GUI form which gives the ability for user to choose a XML file (ok)
2. Load XML and return the file (ok)
3. Read the file from node to node to create the node in Tree View (?!)
Please help me, and if you are enough kind, please give me an small example to easy understand. Thanks in advance.

How do I scroll more than one line at a time in Firefox 4? Scrolling with down-up keyboard arrows is much faster in IE/Chrome.

I have tried using about:config options mousewheel.withnokey.sysnumlines > false and custom set mousewheel.withnokey.numlines, but it makes a difference only when I use a mouse, which I don't use most of the time on this laptop. I use down/up keyboard errors to scroll, and the page scrolls one-line-at-a-time, very slow and lagging. Is there a way around this?
I have reinstalled Chrome as secondary browser only because of this, FF4 otherwise really kicksass. Thank you for an amazing browser and any feedback on my issue.

Well I am using those, but it is not very practical. What puzzles me is that only Firefox has this behaviour, I have tried last versions of IE, Chrome, Opera - all three scroll much faster than Firefox 4 using down/up keyboard arrows.

Packing is done during Delivery.
In Sales order also Packing function is available but as a Packing proposal.
So actual packing is done in Delivery.
When you process several sales orders together, the sales order items having same Ship-to-party, Shipping point, Route, Delivery due date & Incoterm are combined into one Delivery in the standard system.
In the delivery overview screen,do the picking by subsequent function rom the menu bar, you will get a button "PACK", click on this system will take you to the packing screen.
In the packing screen, give the packaging mterial number, select the materials to be packed, select the packaging material also and the click on the "PACK" button.
