How to bring up Number pad

Hi All,
Building an app for a client and one screen features a simple calculator, everything works fine but when you click on the input field it bring ups the iphone keypad you are then forced to select the number pad and only then you are able to input your digits.
Is there a way to force the phone to automatically bring up the number pad instead of the keypad?

Hola Tobias,
When you get a call you get the icon for the number pad and once you click it you have access to all the numbers you need to press.
So, it takes two clicks: 1. click on the number pad and 2. click on the number you desire.
I have used this to check my work voicemail and it works fine.

Hi,
You have to write a Transfer Routine for this one. You can add 6 by adding 600 to the material numbers in the range of 20-40.
First check whether the material number in the range of 20-40 then add 600 to the keyfigure value.

How to add "Done" button on Number pad? And how to set 00.00 format for UITextField?

1.) I am new to iPhone development. I have a small application & for that I need to add number pad but there is no "Done" button. I know we can get rid of that keyboard by clinking UIView but I want a separate button for this.
2.) My second question is how to set 00.00 format for UITextField as there is no decimal point available on number pad?

As to #1, you should study the iOS HIG - doing what you have in mind might be a good way to risk rejection and not have your app make it into the store.

It is tricky (and perhaps not worth the trouble) if you are trying to support older iOS versions. Here is a link to the most popular solution.

It sounds like you may have multiple problems, but none of them are likely to be caused by malware.
First, the internet-related issues may be related to adware or a network compromise. I tend to lean more towards the latter, based on your description of the problem. See:

It has worked with other OSs but with Mavericks 10.9.5 (and from what I here, Yosemite) you can not use the number pad to change spaces. I know I can use the numbers across the top or the arrows, I just find it quicker and ergonomic to use the number pad. As many spaces I use this is very inconvenient to be reaching across the keyboard. Is there a way to fix this. I went to the preferences but could not find anything there to change. Maybe Apple could fix this in there next update.

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

HP DV9291ea Number pad not working after been in for repair

I have a HP DV 9291ea laptop. It is a 17 inch model with a numeric keypad on it. The problem is, when the numlock key is turned on the keyboard number pad get's enables. I recently had the mother board changed by HP/Tarsus. I suspect that they didnt load the correct keyboard profile. They (Tarsus) said that should bring the laptop in and they will fix it (for free). I will do that if no one can help me here, Is there an easy and permanent fix for this problem?
I can temnporarly get around it by doing the following:
making sure the numlock is off.
opening the on screen keyboard (start>programs>accessories>ease of access>on screen keyboard)
a keyboard layout will opens on the screen
I hold down the FN button down on the real keyboard and clicking the nlk button on the onscreen keyboard by using my mouse.
the problem is is i press the numlock key again I will have to go through the whole process again.
Anyone have any idea what could cause this or how to fix it permanently?

This thread's been dead for a few years, but since I had to really search to find the answer to this issue, I thought i'd share what worked for me.
In Win7, go to Start->Accessories->Ease of Access->Ease of Access Center, click "Make the mouse easier to use" and uncheck "Turn on mouse keys".
This fixed my problem on a HP G72 with integrated numeric pad.

How to bring all columns in a single/first page in report painter

There are 9 columns in a report painter which includes 1 lead column.
7 columns comes in a first page including lead column and rest 2 columns goes to second page. This report is copied from another report where all columns comes in a first page only. if the original report comes in one page then why not the new report.
Please suggest how to bring all columns in a single/first page in the new report.

Thanx for the quick reply. When I change the column width to 10 it comes in one page. But the requirement is to keep the column width to at least 12 or 14 and moreever the original report from where this report is copied having the same no of columns and the column width for original report is 14 and it comes in one page only.
Do I need to do something more to achieve this. My question is how the original reports data comes in one page where as the current report having issue with same number of columns.
Pls suggest.

MY LAPTOP'S RIGHT SIDE NUMBER PAD NOT WORKING.
TECH SAID OS CORRUPTED AND SUGGESTED RUN RECOVERY , SO RECOVERY DONE.
STILL SAME ISSUE , NOW TECH SAID HE WILL ORDER NEW KEYBOARD FOR ME.

Did this issue with the numeric keypad, just start recently?
Did you download or install, new drivers, or do any system updates recently that seem to coincide with when it first occurred? If so, then a possible quick fix is a System Restore to a point before it first occurred.Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 7)

Number pad on Mac Mini quit working

I have a computer lab of 22 Mac Mini's. The number pad on one of them has quit working, just the numbers. The function keys still work. I have swapped keyboards with other Mini's and the probelm does not follow the keyboard. I have tried both a Mac Pro and Kensington keyboard and both do the same thing. Any ideas how to dorrect this?

Long shot, but...
Open Audio Midi Setup in Applications>Utilities, see the input & output options & KHz setting there, some things will change it for their own use, then not set it back.
