How to call Soap API plsql package with ws security ?

Hi all,
I want to consume a webservice which comes with the basic authentication (username and password in soap header).
By calling Soap api through a anonymous block shows this error
"Error report:

*Action:   Correct the problem as described in the error message or contact

My Anonymous Block is:

I have Two questions :
1) Where to give the soap header details ?
2) In my soap header am also having the header atributes like "Responsiblity" ,"Resp Application" ,"Security Group" ,"Language" ,"Org ID"
Where to give these values in my anonymous block?
My Request.xml looks like this:

Hi Arik,
Thanks for the reply. I got the solution by configuring a NonXA data source. The problem was with internal commits of the fnd_global.initialize api.
If the DB adapter is calling aPL/SQL procedure (written inside a pakcage) using the data source configured to support XA, will expect not to have any commits in side the procedure or anywhere, the XA driver will take of the commits and whole transactions. By default the FND_GLOBAL.INITIALIZE(...) procedure will have the internal commits, so it was throwing the errors.
The solution was configuring the a NonXA Data source in the databae adapter configuration will allow the commits inside the callings procedures. So we created Two data sources one for XA and another for NonXA and we are using the NonXA datasource whereever we are calling the EBS APIs which have the internal commits.

  • How to call SOAP API from JavaScript

    Hi,
    I'm trying to call the SOAP API to get statistics about emails. Are there any examples on how to call the API from JavaScript?
    Here is a link to my original question about using the REST API. REST API URL for email statistics
    Thanks,
    Tim

    Tim,
    In order to consume a SOAP API I recommend you use something other than JavaScript.
    Any platform can offer you a good SOAP client should be OK. (.Net, Java, php, Ruby, python).
    I didn't see anyone successfully used javascript and consume the Eloqua SOAP API.
    I know you can create a SOAP client in Java script but it will be too much work to handle the Eloqua response in some cases.

  • How to call at PL/SQL package?

    Hi,
    How to call a PL/SQL package from withing a VORowImpl?
    Also what packages need to be imported for this?
    Thanks,
    AD

    Hi,
    Thanks for the replies friends.
    I understand this is not a good practice to call a pl/sql package. I tried as per the OAF standards.
    My requirement is to display the GL String in a region of type table. This is in iExpense and the region is (ReviewBusinessCCardTblRN.xml) i.e. the Review page in the Expense report creation steps.
    The data in this region is not coming directly from one VO. There are two VOs involved in it.
    1> BusinessCCardLinesForReviewVO
    2> ReceiptBasedLinesVO (This is the actual source of data and it contains a SQL statement)
    The "BusinessCCardLinesForReviewVORowImpl" calls methods in "ReceiptBasedLinesVORowImpl" to get all the data.
    So, my approach was to
    1> Extend "ReceiptBasedLinesVO" and add an attribute for the GL String in the SQL statement.
    2> Write a method in the "ReceiptBasedLinesVOExRowImpl" to fetch the GL String.
    3> Extend BusinessCCardLinesForReviewVO and add an attribute for the GL String.
    4> In the extended VO's (BusinessCCardLinesForReviewVOExRowImpl) row impl, call "ReceiptBasedLinesVOExRowImpl" GL String method.
    5> Then use "BusinessCCardLinesForReviewVO" GL string attribute to display in the region.
    Is there anything wrong with this approach?
    But, this does not seem to be working.
    Steps 3, 4, 5 are working as I tested with hard coded values in "BusinessCCardLinesForReviewVOExRowImpl".
    But when I call method in "ReceiptBasedLinesVOExRowImpl" to get the GL String, it does not working. No error returned. The page displays all the values as it was displaying in the standard functionality.
    As this is an urgent requirement, I thought of writting a PL/SQL function which would take CCID from "BusinessCCardLinesForReviewVO" and return the GL String.
    And call this PL/SQL funtion in "BusinessCCardLinesForReviewVOExRowImpl".
    Please help me on this.
    Srini: Could you please give the exact syntax for calling the PL/SQL stored function in VORowImpl.
    Thanks,
    AD

  • How to call custom API in ODI

    Hi All,how to call custom API in ODI and how can multiple people run the scenario at same time. I explained my process below
    1. Through ODI console pass parameter (file name) to scenario and read the file form configured location
    2. Insert the data from flat file to custom table
    3. Call custom API
    4. Generating a report in ODI in same location where we read the file from. Creating sample report just reading from custom table
    5. The above design should be such that multiple people can run the scenario at same time.
    can any one help me on step 3 and step 5 how to go forward..
    Thanks in Advance.

    You can invoke java api in the procedure or KM tasks. You can select Jython technology type and can call the custom java API.
    You may find relevant info at
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/integrate.1111/e12643/procedures.htm#CHDIDDFE

    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/integrate.1111/e12645/api_intro.htm#CEGFCFHC
    You can directly put DB functions in the your mapping expressions.

  • How to call Java API from BSP?

    I have a requirement to call Java API from BSP application.
    I have checked the forum and found that it is possible by using some ABAP codes.
    However there is no pointer on how this is done.
    Can someone explain the details on how to call Java API from BSP is done?
    I found class CL_EJB_JAVA_OBJECT_METHODS to call a method in EJB but can't find function or SAP class to call Java API.
    Actually is there any BSP extention which can used to call Java API?

  • Call from Java Plsql Procedure with VArray as Out Parameter

    Hi,
    I have a Java web application(Tomcat server) that call a plsql procedure with Varray as OUT parameter.
    The Plsql code is perfectly compiled.

    I think the below statement is enough; we need ArrayDescriptors only when we we wish to send a Plsql Object or Varray from Java code to the procedure. Plz correct me if not so.
    dbCallableStatement.execute();
    ARRAY SimpleOUTArray = (ARRAY) ((OracleCallableStatement) dbCallableStatement).

  • How to call jsp in PLSQL code (to upload a file in IFS)

    Hello,
    We develop our PORTAL (9.0.2) with PL/SQL way.
    We want to make a form to upload file in IFS.
    We create a form like that :
    htp.formOpen(cmethod =>'post',
         cenctype => 'multipart/form-data',
         curl => '/pls/ptlcollab/ptlcollab.GestionDoc_screenbuilder.manipTableIFS',
         cattributes => 'name="ifs"') ;
    htp.TableData(htf.FORMFILE(cname=>'file', cattributes => 'size="25"')) ;
    The manipTableIFS procedure calls a loaded java procedure which called a servlet which work with IFS.
    BUT, modplsql seems to want we directly upload the doc in a table but we want to upload the doc in iFS !!!
    So, the solutiuon seems to call a jsp (or a servlet directly from our plsql code).
    BUT, how could I do that ???
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards.
    Luc.

    Something along these lines ought to do what you want:
    <html>
    <body>
    <form name='foobar' action='foobar.jsp'>
    <script language='Javascript'>
    function askim() {
      if (confirm('Is you sure?')) {
        document.foobar.submit();
      } else return false;
    </script>
    <input type='button' value='Submit' onClick='askim()'>
    </form>
    </body>
    </html>
    Your mileage may vary.
    But the idea here is that the Javascript merely submits the form if the user clicks "OK" on the confirmation pop-up. Otherwise, nothing happens. The form is submitted to a JSP file which accepts the request, does something (such as call your Java class), then prints out some HTML in response.

  • How to call a BPS Web Interface with predefined selections

    Hi,
    I have read and try to implement the "How to... call a BPS Web Interface with predefined selections" but it is not working.
    I have one Web Interface called ZXXXXX, then I created one BSP and copied the ABAP code into the Layout screen.
    I checked the ABAP and it concatenates and fill the variable l_url, but the page is not displayed.
    l_url = /sap/bc/bsp/sap/zxxxxx/zxxxxx.htm
    I have checked that I have no errors in the BPS variables and its values.
    It just opens internet explorer and the page displays "<<<" in the top of the screen.
    I am working with BW7.0 and BPS 3.5.
    If anyone can help me it will be rewarded,
    Thanks a lot,
    Fernando

    I think the problem is in the last part of the code.
    <frameset framespacing=0 frameborder=0 border=0>
    <frame src="<%= l_url%>" name="x" framespacing=0 frameborder=0 border=0
    marginwidth=0 marginheight=0>
    </frameset>
    It is doing nothing in this point, but the ABAP fills correctly the l_url variable.
    Thnks

  • How to call PL/SQL stored procedure with TWO or more arguments from URL?

    Hi all,
    does anybody know, how to call stored procedure with more than one argument?
    How to do this with one argument is known -
    <img src="#OWNER#.retreive_img_data?i_id=#IMG_ID#" width="70" height="80" alt="No Picture">
    But if I need to call procedure with two formal parameters? And need to pass through URL, for example, two page item values?

    Just separate with an "&". Using your previous example, I'll add i_name and i_type:
    <img src="#OWNER#.retreive_img_data?i_id=#IMG_ID#&i_name=somename&i_type=jpg" width="70" height="80" alt="No Picture" />

  • How to call remote API from root SharePoint 2013 domain (not an app)

    I'm trying to follow the article
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/fp179895%28v=office.15%29.aspx
    For a SharePoint 2013 hosted under O365, do I need to create an app to use the SP.* methods in sp.js? I need to call a remote API from the root domain (https://mycompany.sharepoint.com). But the app, as mentioned in the article
    above, deploys on a whole different URL (https://mycompany-a2d3f4t454.sharepoint.com).
    I need to be able to call the API from pages like https://mycompany.sharepoint.com/pages/default.aspx. Is this not possible?

    Hi,
    According to your description, my understanding is that you want to call remote API from the root domain site.
    Yes, you can use SharePoint hosted app to achieve it. SharePoint hosted app has app web and host web, you can create an app to call the remote api in the host web from app web.
    Here are some detailed articles for your reference:

  • How to call OIM API from external app?

    Hi,
    I have an java application and I would like to call OIM API to accept a request. The application resides in separate server than OIM.
    My questions:
    *1.* What to do to call OIM API from external application (import any OIM jars etc.)?
    *2.* Which method to use, setRequestResponse , closeRequest or any other?
    I appreciate any help, thanks.

    Hello,
    If it is an external client, you need to provide the "login" and "password" details explicitly in the code (something like this), before getting any other Interface control to invoke the OIM APIs -
    public class OIMAPIClientTest {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    try{
    System.out.println("Starting...");
    ConfigurationClient.ComplexSetting config = ConfigurationClient.getComplexSettingByPath("Discovery.CoreServer");
    Hashtable env = config.getAllSettings();
    tcUtilityFactory ioUtilityFactory = new tcUtilityFactory(env,"xelsysadm","abcd1234");
    System.out.println("Getting utility interfaces...");

  • How to call sql loader ctrl file with in the pl/sql procedure

    Hi Friends,
    I am doing a project related with the transferring data using queues. In the queue , I will get a tab delimited data in the form of CLOB variable/message. I do want to store that dat in the oracle table.
    When updating data into the table ,
    1. Don't want to write that data into a file.( Want to access directly after dequeueing from the specfic queue).
    2. As the data is in tab delimited form, I want to use sql loader concept.
    How do I call the sql loader ctrl file with in my pl/sql procedure. When I searched , most of the forums recommending external procedure or Java program.
    Please Guide me on this issue. my preferrence is pl sql, But don't know about external procedure . If no other way , I will try Java.
    I am using oracle 9.2.0.8.0.
    Thanks in advance,
    Vimal..

    Neither SQL*Loader nor external tables are designed to read data from a CLOB stored in the database. They both work on files stored on the file system. If you don't want the data to be written to a file, you're going to have to roll your own parsing code. This is certainly possible. But it is going to be far less efficient than either SQL*Loader or external tables. And it's likely to involve quite a bit more code.
    The simplest possible thing that could work would be to use something like Tom Kyte's string tokenization package to read a line from the CLOB, break it into the component pieces, and then store the different tokens in a meaningful collection (i.e. an object type or a record type that corresponds to the table definition). Of course, you'll need to handle things like converting strings to numbers or dates, rejecting rows, writing log files, etc.
