How to capture content activity log from DMP?

Hi There,
I try to implement content activity log from DMP. The information that I want to get are DMP IP, Conent File Name (video or jpg file), open date/time. The only way that I can do is sending http command direct to DMP (http.file via port 7777).
Is it possible to implement Syslog server to get those information from DMP?

Capturing Application Error log from SXMB_Moni

Hi,
I wanted to capture the error information from Application error log from ECC sxmb_moni and forward that as email alert.
We have already alert configuration in place with alert category using standard variables. Was wondering if I have to capture application error log from sxmb_moni what would be steps involved. Please let me know if anybody has worked on this and appreciate your help on this.

Hi Selvam,
As the exception is raised in ECC system, alert cannot be trigger, alert will get trigger when there is a error in PI system. To raise a email, write additional code in ECC to trigger the e-mail with proper error content

lets assume there are 2 buttons, first button to submit concurrent program and second button to view concurrent program output/log.
Actually im able to submit concurrent program from oracle custom form(6i) in ebusiness(11.5.0.2) i.e first button (WHEN-BUTTON_PRESSED buitin).
Rather user navigating to VIEW-> REQUEST, i would like to give option to user to view concurrent program output/log when user clicks on second button (WHEN-BUTTON_PRESSED buitin)
How can i achive this?

Go to the Transaction SWI1,
Enter the workitem no and press F8.
Select the required entry and Press Shift+F8 (Log Button)
to view the workflow log.

Hi Ramakrishna,
Once you create the session, Process the session using
the report RSBDCSUB using submit statement.
It would list out the erroneous records.
Hence, while submitting, just say submit RSBDCSUB in background and export output list to memory.,
Then you can retrieve the list from memory using the FM LIST_FROM_MEMORY into the internal table and finally send the email by the fm you have already mentioned.

Batch List: How to capture clips inc info, from disk instead of tape

We have a client's edit log on Excel, including reel no, in/out, scene, description, log note etc. Usually we import this batch list to FCP, then batch capture from DVCAM tapes, so all clips have all their info - great.
In this case, the material is already digitised and the client has logged from DVDs burned with timecode from the digitised material being placed in FCP sequencecs with timecode generator filter.
Is there a way to 'batch capture' clips from the digitised material, so that we keep all the client logging info, as we would if we were capturing from tape?

Shane has got it right - we want to automatically build a sequence using that batch list. Or somehow have FCP make new clips or subclips from already captured footage... so if your verdict is right Shane, looks like we may have to go the manual route...
although - just occurred to me - for each clip, I could go to the digitised source sequence, duplicate it, open copy in timeline, enter clip's in and out tc in the viewer - and that will give me a copy of each clip as a sequence - rename that sequence as per the clip, and we're done.
But it's still of course more laborious than batch capture from tape; this is a concern going forward as we are switching to XDCAM EX, so of course the route to enable this client-edit-logging ( http://www.creationvideo.co.uk/info/timecode/ ) that we've always offered clients is no longer valid as the material is already online....
Any suggestions still welcome!

I want to capture a .gif file from a spectrum analyzer and save the file in PC, but I've got a problem when read data from the instrument. I'm not sure how to format the string got from the instrument , When I use "%s" or "%t" as the read string format the data got from the instrument is truncated.

How to prevent java.util.logging from displaying pop-up dialog on SEVERE?

I'm new to using java.util.logging. I notice that whenever I try to make a call to logger.SEVERE(msg) or logger.WARNING(msg), not only does it write the output to file (which I want), but it also pops up a dialog box displaying the exception. I don't want this pop up to appear. How do I prevent the logger from doing this?

How to capture the ok-code from xd01 to my program

Hi All,
I have a big problem. I have created a t-code zxd01 and my program zsapmf02d. In my t-code, in my first screen it looks like xd01 first screen and extra some custom fields.
In my first screen it has buttons, if they click on "create" button on 1st screen i am calling "Call transaction xd01 and skip first screen". Its calling xd01 2nd screen and remaining things xd01 functionality. but when user presses any ok-code, its coming back to my program. I don't want do this thing for some ok-codes like "enter". How to do this? I am thinking if i capture the ok-code from xd01 and when its coming back to my progarm, i can tell it behave differently.
How to capture it? Is there any userexits to capture the ok-code, from there using export and import?
Its a high priority issue. Please help me.
