how can I change te color of te line in a JTree?
I tryied that:
UIManager.getDefaults().put("Tree.line", Color.black);but it doesn�t works...

Use following property:

Now that I know how to find the logical line count in JTextArea as
I found the following in the forum.

I want to delete the 4th line to the last line and append ... at the 4th, if the getLineCount exceeds 3. Does any body know how to do so?
The intention is for the multiline tooltip as I just want to show
the first three logical line and ... if the string is too long.

The code looks good to me. The only thought I have is that the y coordinate for the rowThree point is wrong and is referencing row four.
I've been playing around with using a JTextArea as a renderer for a JTable. I have it working so that "..." appear when the text exceeds 2 rows. Try clicking on "B" in the letter column and then the update cell button a few times to add text. My code is slightly different than yours.

How can hide the command line of a t.code in the portal

Dear Experts.
I have the following doubt:
How can hide the Command Line of a Report that is called with a T.Code in the portal?

When I created a service using the T.Code SICF for the T.Code , I can hide buttons and the filed command line using
~webgui_simple_toolbar
~singletransaction
~NOHEADEROKCODE
With notes 1010519, "SAP GUI for HTML: Simplified Title Area Without Menu and OK Code" and 959417.
But the problem is that when I create the service in the T.Code SICF, I also have that create an Iview IAC in the portal.
The Question is : How can hide this fields and buttons if I want Publish the T.code using an Iview Transaction in the portal?
In this moment I have used the two options:
1 option) I created a service using the t.Code SICF for my Transaction and I also created an Iview IAC in the portal for call the service.
RESULT:

The bottom line is that this cannot be done for transaction iviews without modifying the standard webgui service in SICF, which is probably not a good idea (since it affects everyone using SAP GUI for HTML). (You could hack the appintegrator to add the ~webgui_simple_toolbar parameter to the transaction URL template in the portal, but again its not a recommended thing to do ...). Better to create an IAC service in SICF with ~webgui=1 where you set the required appearance using an appropriate value for ~webgui_simple_toolbar, and then create an IAC iview to point at this service.
You can even override the ~transaction value configured in the new service in individual IAC iviews by entering the appropriate value in the application parameter of the iview, for example:
~okcode=/nSU01
And you can pass parameters in the same way:
~okcode=/nSU01 USR02-BNAME=xyz;USREFUS-USERALIAS=abc;
By the way, it would not be recommended to create a URL iview to access an IAC, since you are likely to encounter session management issues in this scenario - better to use an IAC iview.

How To Parse The Command Line?

Hello,dear. When I writing a C/S mode application,which performing download and upload files between the FTP server and the clients, I encountered the problem of parsing the command line.
I intend to download file from the server side ,using this following format ,which is composed by four arguments:
ftp>receive server's IPaddress portnumber filename
The problem is I don't know how to parse the command line and store them to some objects and using it.
I'm right here waiting for the nice problem-shooter.

How to make the last line of the textarea visible all the time?

I am making an online chat application in JSP and XHTML. The chat log and online users� names textareas are refreshed every 5 seconds. When it comes to many messages in the chat log textarea, the scrollbar appears. Then, every time the chat log textarea is refreshed, I need to move the scrollbar down to see the last line of the textarea.
Are there any ideas how to make the last line of the textarea visible all the time without moving the scrollbar?

well i downloaded alot of songs and i pu tham into itunes but many of tham dont have a artist really like 2000 or something.

It works for me.
Just to check you are doing it properly…
1. Select the tracks (i.e. multiple tracks) you want to modify
2. Right click, and select "Get Info"
3. iTunes should say "Are you sure you want to edit information for multiple items?"
4. Answer yes
5. Type the replacement information in the fields you want to change for ALL the tracks you selected, from your example the Artist name. It should automatically 'tick' the tick-box next to that field to show it will change that field for all the selected tracks, any field that has the tick-box ticked will replace the contents for all the selected tracks so make sure you do not tick any fields you do not want to over-write (it makes no sense for example to set the track-name on all the selected tracks to the same name).
6. Finally click the "OK" button and iTunes will make the change(s) to the selected tracks. It might look like it is doing it one at time because it has to (it can only write to one file at a time), let it finish, at least you do not have to type in each track yourself.
I use this all the time to set the "Album Artist" field on an entire album in one go.

I've developed a stacked canvas within a content canvas, when I run the form the stacked canvas apeared with a black line takes it.
How to remove this line or how to disappear this line at run time??
I tried to do this by putting (no line) in tools palette to the line color tool after selecting the black line one and after selecting the stacked canvas another once, but this did not resolve the problem!
I need something else:
I put the stacked canvas at detail data block and it didn't appear since I execute query in master data block

u mean the border line? In stacked canvas property, select contour/outline and set it to none.
Make sure, the stacked canvas is behind the content canvas in the objectnavigator. Then check your
properties of the stacked canvas:
- Position on content canvas
- size
- size of clipping
Set stacked canvas property automatic visible to yes.
Make sure the stacked canvas is not overlayed by other stacked canvas or items.
