How to change Image source file name

Hi,
I have a logo image on my report that I want to change based on value of my query item. Can someone help me .....how can I change the source of my image item dynamically.

How to change the RPD file name without deploying on EM

Is there a way to change the RPD file name so it doesn't have BI0002 or BI0003 on the end of it? I can delete my BI0002 file and point the NQSConfig.ini file to my new FileName.rpd but when the BI services restart the BI0002 file reappears in the repository directory and the NQSConfig file changes to reflect this. It's like the only way you can change this is in the Enterprise Manager, but that always adds the suffix to the file.
Any suggestions?
Here's what the docs say:
When you upload a repository, it is copied to the local repository directory for each Oracle BI Server component, located at:
ORACLE_INSTANCE\bifoundation\OracleBIServerComponent\coreapplication_obisn\repository
If you have published the repository in shared mode, then the repository is also copied to the shared network location.
After the repository is uploaded, it is given a version number suffix (for example, SampleApp_bi001.rpd). This version number is incremented each time that the repository is uploaded. To revert to a previous version, you must re-upload the specific version of the repository to use.
Note that you can delete older versions from the repository directory or shared network directory to reclaim disk space.
What does that mean? I have to use an old rpd file in order to get rid of the suffix?

It can be changed, although I do not no exactly how. You have to take a look at the MBeans which are used to deploy a new repository. The suffixed is used to insure you do not overwrite an existing RPD

How to change the source file of audio elements

Hi,
I am using adobe edge version 3 to add audio to a website.I use both .ogg and .mp3 files.
Inside the _edge.js file the audio element has 2 sources (one for .ogg and one for .mp3)

I want to change the source file of the audio_element programatically......
So i am using the following code inside edgeActions.js to change the source
sym.$("audio_element_id")[0].src="new_source_file.mp3";
But this will change the source of both(.mp3 and .ogg ) to new_source_file.mp3
I want to change the source induvidually. What should i do??
Also I wanted to know what " [0] " stands for in " sym.$("my_audio_element")[0].play(); "
Please give me an example of a situation wherein i have to change the value of [0].

you should create a different directory for each dvd on your hard drive and put the files where they belong eg: dvd1, dvd2, dvd3
then create 3 bins in your project manager called dvd1, dvd2, dvd3 and put the relevant files into the bins ( can import whole folders into each respective bin )
OR rename your files using something like " renamer" before importing to premiere
otherwise youll have a mess of a time trying to figure out whats what...maybe someone else has a better solution

How to change the excel file name which is in Application server...

hi friends,
my requirement is getting failed, when i'm trying to change the file name which is in Application server using the FM: SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE.
when i execute above FM, i can see all my required details in SM69 like:
COMMAND NAME: ZSPOOL_TEST1
OS: Windows NT
TYPE: Customer
OS COMMAND: cmd rename Y:\OBRZ.PDF OBRZ38582.PDF
once the above FM is executed, i'm getting SY-SUBRC = 2 (exception: COMMAND_NOT_FOUND).
so, can any one guide me how to resolve this issue or is there any other way to rename the file which is in AS?

First you can tranfer the AS server file to a new application server file.
Then you delete the original file .
To do that you can write code as follows --

If you can write the filename to a text file, you may do the following:
(1) create a text-file containing the name of your source-file.
(2) create an external table using that text-file as input.
Now, you can SELECT the filename from the external table.
Of course, you need a way to : create the flat file, handle the flat file, etc.

How to get full source file name in Exporter SDK

I'm making an Exporter Plug-in using SDK 5.5.
I want to get the path and extension of the source file (when export file) and path of the sequence (when export sequence).
Especially the extension of the source file, which is always be replaced by the output extension.
I can't find it in the SDK guide and sample. Sorry if I'm being a noob.

Sequences are generally made up of multiple clips edited together. It's rare that a user would take a single clip and reexport it. So there isn't usually a one-to-one relationship between source file and exported file. Because of that, PPro provides the sequence name as the default file name.
If you did need to get at the source files, you could do it only under specific circumstances - only when exporting directly from PPro, or when loading a clip directly into AME, but not when exporting a sequence from PPro through AME. You would need to use the Video Segment Suite to parse the timeline segments, as demonstrated in the player sample code in videoSequenceParser->ParseSequence(). This is quite a complicated process and not something worth pursuing unless absolutely necessary.

How to Change the defalut file name of PDF out of report (Version 6i)

I have a report which opens from forms(Version 6i); the output of the report is in PDF. The generated file name is the same name as the report. Is there any way to give parameter name of the report as the name of the PDF out put of the report?
For example I have a parameter called PATIENT_ID and my value is 25613 now I need the PDF out put name also 25613.

Change Source File Name

Hello,
Sometimes when I change the name of songs or videos in iTunes, the name of the source file changes, and sometimes it doesn't.
When I say "source file," I mean the name of the file that comes up when I look at the contents of a folder via "My Computer" in the Windows interface.
I'd like a change of the iTunes name to always change the source file name. Can anyone help?

i added music to a clean, newly installed iTunes from a music folder on my desktop with subfolders for different cds that i downloaded recently. after i added those folders to iTunes, i changed the artist names and album titles. the files changed in the folder on my desktop...the only thing that won't change is the song title...it's odd!

I don't believe there is an inbuilt facility to do this.
Previously how I've done this is when checking files out using Hudson jovs, before the build I then use an Ant extension called XmlTask (http://www.oopsconsultancy.com/software/xmltask/) to modify the required XML files.
Can I ask why you're doing this in the first place please? Multi-tenancy? 2 versions of the same app?

How can I change the source file so it is direct from external hard drive?

I am trying to make a movie on imovie of a snowboarding trip that I went on, there is around 80 to 100 gig of mp4 movies that will not fit on my computer that I have stored on my external harddrive. I had the movie half finished then found I could do no more as I had no space left in my mac. I had to delete everything and start again but I'm not doing this until I can find a way of changing the source file so I can take them direct from my external hard drive as to not use up all my computers available space. I have moved imovie to my external hard drive but it still tries to read from a movie file on my mac, how can I change that so it will read from a source file on my external hard drive, is it possible?? Can someone help me??

I have a WD 1TIG hard drive and are using usb connection, is it possible to use fire wire with these? I have had trouble with a lot of the videos I Imported, once they downloaded the file in the viewer window showed up blank and when I mouse over them it places a picture of another file in the window and wont drag and drop into the movie window, like their corrupted or something? Had to delete just about all of them and start again. Also is it possible to select a bunch of videos in the viewer window as to change the dates to the correct dates? All I have been able to do is "select all" which is no help.

How do I map the source file name to a target table?

I am mapping a source fixed length flat file to oracle target tables. One of the tables is a parent transaction table that stores the date, record number, status, etc. and the file name of the source flat file. The file name will change daily because the date is part of the naming convention. Is there an easy way to determine the source file name and map it?
One option a co-worker is working on is writing a pre-mapping stored procedure. It would insert the file name into a table prior to the mapping. But I was hoping for a cleaner solution.

Create a procedure which changes the external table definition as the filename chnages.
Use this proceudre in the mapping as a premapping process.

Imported source file name changed for the external table

Hi,
I have external table from flat file. Now the source file name is changed. I can change the file location to point to the new file name, but I can't update the source for the flat file property(as seen under flat file properties,structure tab. the column "Sampled From"). Is there way to have this update without having to import the file using the new file name again?

In the Files section in the object navigator find the flat file you want to change the source of.
Double click on the actual file, and on the General tab change the old file name to the new one.
The fact that it has been sampled from a different file should not 'disturb' the working of the external table.
However, if the structure of the new file is different I'd suggest to resample.
