How to change the label of a total column in pivot view

Hi
Is there a way to change the label of the column created by analytics when calculated row based totals? Currently, it is same as the measure label to be summed.

Thanks for your help, actually that option works for the total displayed as the latest row, I mean the label for the total row. However, for the total column, the name stays as the same as the measure label.

Hi,
it looks like you want to change the names of the partner functions.
You can do this in the customizing, for example using SPROScenario Specific SettingsService Desk-Service Desk--Partner Determination Procedure (This one works for both ChaRM & Service Desk).
The standard procedure in your case would be SDCR0001.
The recommended way is to define your own Z partner functions and assign them to your own Z Partner Determination Procedure, which you have to replace in the configuration of your transaction type.

Hi,
I think "label" is not valid attribiute for "input" tag.
Create new hidden item P34_LABEL. For item 'P34_ID_USUARIO_DEST', put label value as +&P34_LABEL.+
Now try the following JS

How to change the label of a link based on a condition in a report.

Hi all,
I have a report, in which i created a link.
i want the the label of the link to change based on a column value.
for eg. i created report based on emp table which has a link on empno .
if the deptno of the employee is 10 i want the link to be displayed as "employee of deptno 10".
if the deptno of employee is 20 or 30 i want the link to be displayed as "others"

One way I've found to do this is to put the condition part into the select statement. Use a decode to determine which link text you want to display, e.g.,

How to change the values of Map Region Column "REGION_NAME"

Hi guys,
To correspond with the values in my "CITY" column, I have to change the values of Region_name column in the map..
region_name column contains the name of the territories in English
but City column in my table contains the names of the territories in Arabic.
To enable the link of the map, the values of both column ( CITY in my table, REGION_NAME in the map region ) should be identical.
How can I change the values of REGION_NAME COLUMN ???
This is the first time for me I deal with maps, and I hope my question is clear..

Solved by using the following code
var particulars = this.parent.COURSENAME.resolveNode("#items");
this will bring the dropdown list into the variable particulars
then
for (var i = 1; i < particulars.nodes.length; i++)
p = particulars.nodes.item(i);
here p.value will have the dropdown line by line;
add your valdiations etc

Customizing grand total columns in pivot view

Hi,
I need to customize grand total column name in pivot view
ex: If i have two measure order quantity and order amount when i am selecting aggregation after in column properties it is getting grand total i need to display as grand total for OQ and grand total for OA

Hi Kartheek,
In Pivot View, the default Grand Total can not be renamed to have measure specific grand total labe (The one which we specify in the pivot view either by row or column).
But you can try having one seperate measure (in criteria) which will calculate the grand total of each measure by dimensions, which are available on the report.
In sort you can achieve this using table and narrative view together (Not by pivot view).
Expresion to be used for grand total in report criteria is Sum( Measure By Dim1, dim2... DimN)
where Dim1 and dim2 are the dimesional column available on the report and measure is you OQ/OA.
Create a table view as a default view (do not add any report level agg) and then add narrative view to display the Grand total OQ and Grand Total OA. You can add your custom lables with HTML tag, disply the 1st row only as the values will be repeated for grand total.
If you find any other solution do let me know. As of now I can think of this as a best solution.

How to change the background color for lookup column options in sharepoint 2007

I have a custom List with 10 fields,and in the edit form we want to display only 6 fields,
So I have customized it with sharepoint designer 2007 ,designed a new custom edit form(Insert->ShaerPoint Controls->Custom List Form)
We are using IE8 Browser,and the site has JQuery 1.8 loaded .
The lookup columns is getting rendered as textbox and dropdown arrow image,instead of select html element.
When we click on arrow image,its displaying the values magically,So I am unable to highlight the options with text "ABC" in yellow background color
basically in the input textbox its storing all the lookup values as "ID|value "in choices attribute (I saw this in browser dev tools)
I tried to set the textbox color everytime it loses focus using blur,however its always returning the previous value instead of current selected value.
Is there any way we can achieve this,Any solutions/thoughts

hi i bet you need to amend your jquery script to get onclick values and put it with like append HTML if you want to use Jquery.
Also did you know you could use javascript in calculated column with type number?

How to change the TOC button?

Hi!
I´d like to change the TOC button. In former versions its simply with four lines on it, with version 8 it´s labeled with "TOC". Can I get the lines back??
And how do I change the label for bookmarks? (right beside the small bookmark icon it says "title", but I´d like to label it "content" or something else)

Still don´t know how to change the label for bookmarks in TOC ...
But I found the solution for changing the TOC button: somewhere in the program folder are FLA-files for the different skins. Choose the FLA corresponding to your selected skin, open it with Flash and check the library for the button you want to change. Doubleclick in the library and create anew (I changed the "TOC" into three lines). Export SWF and then take care to put it where the original skin SWF is located. Voilá!
Hopefully someone can tell me a way to change the label ;-)

The font size is controlled by the software program that the document was created in, for example any Microsoft Word document that you send to the printer the font size would have been chosen in Microsoft Word. AS of now you will not be able to change the Text Field ( Label ) dynamically or at runtime. This is a limitation.Refer to this link:

But, there is a way around.
You can make a text field Visible / Invisible based on your program logic. So, based on what you want, you can process a module which will take care of that.

You have to be aware that this will only change labels if you edit before adding quiz slides: Preferences, Quiz, Default Labels. You will have to edit the labels, choosing another language will not change them automatically.

How can i change the label of an array controller in the xib file

I have seven instances of NSArrayController in my main xib file; they are all labled 'Array Controller' and I cannot change the label in the list of objects. I can change the label in the identity inspector, but the label still remains 'Array Controller' in the list of objects. If I double-click on the label that is in the list and change the label its value changes in the identity inspector when I tab out of the label field but the label reverts to 'Array Controller' in the list of objects. I'll never be able to keep the seven controllers straight in my head. Is there a solution?

The problem is was in Xcode, while editing the xib file. After many back and forth jumps (between Xcode and this composer for the discussion) and many attempts to relabel the array controllers over two hours, the changes have appeared just as I want. I hate it when that happens (who likes egg on their face?)
