How to change the tab on a web browser

Hello,
I do not know how to change the (index.html) tab. When you have several of the tab on your browser open, the name appears in the middle of tab, mine continues to say the INDEX.html. I just need to know how to go into dreamweaver and change the title tag. In the actual HTML I have changed it and it still hasn't worked. please help, thanks!

The scenario is like this : I have a jTabbedPane with 2 tabs. I want, when an action is performed in one tab (for example a button is clicked on tab1) to change the tab automatically (to make tab2 visible). How can i do this?

I've read JTabbedPane API before i post the message, but unfortunately i couldn't find a solution to my problem. I tried to use the methods grabFocus and requestFocus to change the focus of the application, but it didn't work.

How to change the tab order in adf forms.

Hi,
I design a from in adf jsff page.In the form i have 4 components. These components are surrounded with a panel form layout. Now if i put number of columns as 2 in the property inspector of the PFL.
Components appear as 2 fields in the first row and next two fields are in the second row.
Now my doubt is, when I tab out 1 field to another field. The tab out is Horizontal. But I want the tab out to be vertical. Please suggest how to make the tab out feature as vertical.

I don't think we have something called tab index in adf like in javascript. This may not possible in adf.

I have done one Screen Exit to add 5 additional fields in the T-Code CJ20N using Enhancement CNEX0007.
I got one extra tab "Cust. enhancement" in T-Code CJ20N.
Now my requirement is that the name of the Tab Strip "Cust. enhancement" should be changed into "User Tab2".
Can any one guide me how to do that?

How to change the date path of Web Server to my system time?

I have downloaded a Countdown SWF file from the Internet. It is working fine with the Computers which have Internet Connection. But not working without Internet connection because of the following line of code in XML file:

When I opened the webpage using the above code, it shows time in a typical digits:
Monday, October 18, 2010 9:12:52 PM in my System -shows in Web browser like : time=1287425579
How to modify the code so that I can use my System time to work with Countdown without Internet Connection.

It appears all that php file does is return a time=value variable. So you need to see where that time variable is implemented in the Flash file and assign it a value using the Date.getTime() method instead of having the PHP file get called into play. Look in the help documents or Google if you do not know how to use the Date class.

How to change the Tab name for a custom field added in IC Winclient

I have successfully added a field using eewb and it is appearing on my transaction in CIC0 but it is on a tab that says Customer Fields. In EEWB a BADI called ZEEW_CUSTOMER_H01 was generated and it has a methods called CRM_CUSTOMER_H_SET_TITLE. It indicates you should be able to use this to rename the tab but the method is empty. Anyone have an example of the code you pass in to rename the tab screen. Thanks, Lisa

How to change a TAB dynamically to be the active tab?

Hi,
I have a portlet written in Java and registered using a web provider. This portlet exposes a link which drives the content of another portlet through parameters&events.
This other portlet is placed on the same page but on a different TAB (!).
What I want is, when clicked on the link in Portlet1, this changes the content of the Portlet2 (via an event and parameter - that works) AND should change the TAB, so that the TAB which contains the Portlet2 is active and shown.
I couldn't figure out, how to change the TAB with an event or any other way. I can easily change the page through an event, but not to a tab on the same page. Do I overlook something or can I just don't use events for this?
Is there any API function which does changing tabs or getting the tab id or is there any other programmatic workaround to do dynamic tab changing?
If so, can someone point me to a code fragment?
Any help would be much appreciated.

A work around may be to change the location.href to the url of the tab you want to switch to.

At present it show the title like "Java Web Start" I want to customize, is it possible? , How?

As far as I know this is not possible. You can customize the splash window displayed with the jnlp how your told, but the title of the window cannot be changed.

to edit your registered application info, go to
"Upload Mobile Component" tab and click on the Edit icon
on the left part of the record list which corresponds to
the application you had just uploaded.
your application is uploaded to the same host as your
web console application is running on. if you like to
point it to a different server where you have your
archive accessible, you have to change your mcd
deployment attributes on your middleware. try the ff:
1)run tcode: mi_mcd
2)click on Create Mobile Component
3)Enter Mobile Solution Name and Version
4)Click on Display MCD
5)Select Deployment Tab
6)Click on Edit
7)Change the values of WEBSERVER and WEBPATH location eg.
if your archive is located at
http://myotherserver:80/archive/myapplication.war
your entry will be:
WEBSERVER: http://myotherserver:80
WEBPATH: /archive/myapplication.war
where you myotherserver is the name of your http host
server and myapplication.war is the name of your archive.
the archive directory is just a virtual directory where
your application archive is.
you might need to change the port number depending on
your http server port.

Goto SPRO->Project system->Dates->Scheduling->Specify Parameters for Network Scheduling, Here you can control the workforce planning dates.

For eg. Using advance search option , I have some fields with default operators like equals, contains,is between, is less than and is greater than. I don't need all these operators for this field.
I need only "equals" operator. How do i remove the rest of the operators?

There is a view cluster crmvc_dq where all the standard setting is present related to you r issue. Please try if you can modify that, that way you will avoid the code.
Incase you are not able to make any changes there then in that case you have to redefine the method GET_DQUERY_DEFINITION () of the IMPL class to delete the operators for a particular serach field.
