How to change user id to another user id

Is it possible to change the user id to another user id and password? That is another person will be in charge of the Adobe Send instead of me.

You can change the non-Apple email address which forms your Appe ID and thus iCloud login at http://appleid.apple.com - click on 'Manage your Apple ID' and then on 'Edit' next to the ID address.
Once done you will need to sign out in System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud on all your devices and then back in again.

    If 2 seperate users need to work witht the same XML Schema then the XML Schema should be registered as a global Schema. If you want to change the owner of an XMLschema, just like if you want to change the owner of a relational; table you will have to export the data and import it again.

Anna has since left our organisation, so I would like to change the ownership and login of this local user account to another user, "David". Can anyone advise me how to do this?

    Sorry, I'm a complete newbie.
    If I go to System Preferences > Accounts and create a new User Name and Password ("David") for the old user account ("Anna"), I can't log in to the account because the Server Account still says "This account is paired with account "Anna" on server "/LDAPv3/127.0.0.1". There is an option to "Unpair" but I'm scared to do this because I don't know the ramifications and I'm worried that I might be locked out of the user account and lose access to the data.

    I have a forms module with a module component based on a view.
    This view is a simple view with 1 base table.
    This view has a 'client derived' primary key with a sequence.
    This view has a instead of trigger, which is calling the table API.
    There are no server derived columns etc.
    When I insert a record via the form and try to update the same record
    without requery, I get the message:
    FRM-40657: Record changed or deleted by another user.
    When I drop the trigger the error is not raised.
    Any idea ?

    Trying to export photo's from one user acct. to another user acct. on same computer into second users Iphoto app.

    File -> Export to the destop. Drag to Users/Shared Folder and then import from other account.

    If you want the other user to be able to see the pics, but not add to, change or alter your library, then enable Sharing in your iPhoto (Preferences -> Sharing), leave iPhoto running and use Fast User Switching to open the other account. In that account, enable 'Look For Shared Libraries'. Your Library will appear in the other source pane.
    Any user can drag a pic from the Shared Library to their own in the iPhoto Window.
    Remember iPhoto must be running in both accounts for this to work.
    If you want the other user to have the same access to the library as you: to be able to add, edit, organise, keyword etc.
    Quit iPhoto in both accounts. Move the Library to the Users / Shared Folder
    (You can also use an external HD set to ignore permissions, a Disk Image or even partition your Hard Disk.)
    In each account in turn: Double click on the Library to open it. (You may be asked to repair the Library Permissions.) From that point on, this will be the default library location. Both accounts will have full access to the library, in fact, both accounts will 'own' it.
    However, there is a catch with this system and it is a significant one. iPhoto is not a multi-user app., it does not have the code to negotiate two users simultaneously writing to the database, and trying will cause db corruption. So only one user at a time, and back up, back up back up.

    Logical Database PSJ is used by t code CJI3 - we added a couple of user fields into the dynamic selections of CJI3.
    Now - how to change the text of this user filed (USR01 of structure PRSP_R in logical database PSJ)?
    Found an OSS note - 86980 - that tells that this is not possible.
    But when we read the documentation on the user field (CJI3 - dynamic selections  - double click on user field - F1), it shows the following text:
    User-defined field in which you can enter general information with a length of up to 20 characters.
    Dependencies
    The names (key words) for  user-defined fields depend on the field key.
    Now the question is where to change the field key..

    Please HELP ME
    I have a form with multiple blocks and relationship between them
    I can insert in all of the blocks
    but I can not update the exiting rows in ANY block in application.
    I can update the rows from outside of the application
    it returns me this error:
    FRM-40657:Record Change or deleted by another user
    the properties about insert allowed,update allowed and so on are all YES in all blocks
    Would you please advise me about that?

    This error occurs because the record as held in the Form is not the same as that held on the database. When Forms locks a record it checks the value of every database item on the Form with that currently stored in the database, and if the two are not the same it issues this error.
    This can happen for a number of reasons e.g.
    1. You may want to look at date fields and ensure the time component is being taken into account i.e. the LAST_MODIFIED column is stored as '01-JAN-2001 15:34:56' on the database but is stored as '01-JAN-2001 00:00:00' (a truncated date) on the Form.
    2. Check to see if there are any database triggers which alter the values of columns.
    You may need to go through every database item on the Form and compare it with the value on the database. Having found a discrepancy in values you need to determine why this occurs.

    I have few ideas please try it. I am not sure this is what you’re looking so far.
    1. We can try to move the dashboard manually through FTP software like (Winscp) this is Linux and UNIX.
    Are you trying move dashboard in windows, we have only one option through catalog manager we can move to dashboard, if you getting any error please post me we try to help out this.
    2. We can give dashboard access to both users then both users can able to see the dashboard page.

    You can copy queries only if you have the authorization to make changes. Within your current user group, you can copy all queries. However, queries of other user groups can only be copied if the InfoSet used to define the query is assigned to both user groups.
    To copy a query, proceed as follows:
    1. Choose the name of the query you want to copy on the initial screen.
    If you do not know the name, use the directory functions to display the query directories and then choose a query to copy from there.
    2. Choose Copy.
    3. Enter the name and the user group of the query that you want to copy in the dialog box. Furthermore, you must enter a name for the copied query. The system proposes values for this.
    4. Choose Continue.
    This takes you to the initial screen. The query is added and appears in the query directory. You can now continue.

    Is the new username an established email account with an email provider? If not, that is your problem. You cannot just make up a username and expect to receive email with it.
    I would not suggest changing usernames due to a new email account. I would set up a new account in Thunderbird for the new email account.

    I can't view index detail of another schema in sql developer release 5.
    I'm doing this steps :
    1) I'm connecting with user lopes
    2) Open folder of user mrt
    3) Open table folder
    4) select a table xpto. At this point is openeda a frame details of table xpto. In this frame several information are displayed, when I select Indexes nothing is showed, but this table has a lot of indexes.
    How should I make this indexes information visible ? I think this form is using user_indexes.

    Who owns the indexes?
    I have cases where I am logged on as a user who has access to a table owned by another user, but indexes created and owned by the connected user (so would obviously be able to see them) are not displayed on the indexes tab for the table.
    I get the same problem with triggers owned by the connected user and dependencies to objects owned by the connected user not displaying on the table tab for tables owned by a different user.
    Presumably, rather than excluding indexes, triggers or dependencies owned by the current user, the details are being restricted to objects owned by the table owner.

  • How do I transfer files to another user account?

    As you can tell from the thread title I'm completely new to all things Mac.  Please forgive my ignorance and this long winded post.
    So I setup my new 27"  iMac, installed Lion 10.7.? and applied all the updates (to 10.7.4).  Then I installed MS Office 2011 for Mac and downloaded all the updates for it. All went well and was refreshingly simple.  I did all of this thinking that I would need Office installed to make the migration from my PC's Outlook files to work properly.  Then i ran the migration assistant and it worked just as advertised.  Little did I know that it was creating another user account and it's folders to put the files into.  I know, read before jumping into things!  Well all of my files are in the new account that the migration assistant created and all appears well in that regard.  The only glitch is the emails all went into the Mac client, but they are there, my accounts are up and running and looks like it did what it's supposed to do.
    What I need to do is copy or move everything on the new user account over to the original account I setup.  What would be the best route to take?  I transferred about 125 gig of data in total.  I'm thinking that a fresh install and starting over is the route to go, but it's my understanding that a clean install isn't real easy on Lion and above.
    I can already tell that when I get everything situated that I'm really gonna be cussing myself for not going to Mac 5 years ago when I started to.  The graphics on this new iMac is amazing!
    So what are my options?  Figure out a clean install?  Or move/copy the folders and nuke the 2nd account?

    You can reinstall Lion by starting up in Disk Recovery mode. Hold command-R during startup. You will need a fast internet connectiona as a re-download of Lion is required.
    Once you have re-installed Lion, you can proceed to migrate your PC data using Setup Assistant.
    Moving and copying your files will require an external drive with permissions ignored (that is the default for OSX).
