How to check if user is part of the specific OU in Active Directory

Hi :
We are trying to check if user is part of the specific OU or not , to do this I am invoking "Get Object Property Value"
since if user is part of that OU in that case it should be able to get that property .
However this activity is failing and not able to search for any proeprty , below is the snapshot of workflow which
I have created for this , I am logging to cisco.com domain for this .

You can run the "Get User Distinguished Name" action. This uses the login CISCO\username in your case to return the distinguished name which you are inputting including its OU.
You could then run the get object property with the input LDAP path being the results from the Distinguished Name.

If you want to prevent multiple logins happening, use a profile on the database server that limits a login to a set number of simultaneous connections.
If you just ant to check which users are logged in, the v$session table will have that information.

When SNC is enabled system will accept secure network connections. But,It is up to the user to login in SNC mode or NOT.

Check T-Code SM04 on every instance. In the column Type you can see what kind of login has been used (GUI, RFC, Plugin, System).
But,It is up to the user to login in SNC mode or NOT.

Hello ,
Create a script for SU02 transaction in the SAPGUI mode, in the script move to the profiles tab and GETGUI the first profile and loop to all the profiles assigned to the user until you find your required profile.
Other way is to identify the table where the profiles are stored and then create script using GETTAB , pass the user name and retreive all the profiles assigned to tht particular user, loop through profiles untill you find your required profile.

Checking to see if the current User is part of the "Administrator Group"

I am writing an installer for my program - in java - that basically just executes a .jar file. In the past, my software had a disclaimer that just tells the user to make sure that they are an administrator before installing - but we are not currently enforcing that.
So my task is to develop a snippet of code that returns a boolean (true if the user has privileges, false if the user does not). Essentially checking to see if the user is part of the Administrators Group in windows. I created a creative solution for the Unix side of this problem, checking the root group, and some path names for root... but I am stumped on the Windows side of things. I KNOW there is a solution in C, in fact I have already created it (it involves a simple import of windows.h and a static variable check), but I would like a java solution instead.
I have researched a bit in the java.security API and the JNI interface for executing my C code in java... but I would like to post here in case there is a simpler solution that I may be overlooking. The windows platform is XP for the most part, but possibly Vista as well.

Two ways to print a portion of a page: zooming or using the Snapshot Tool.
ZOOMING:
Zoom into the area you want to print.
Click the Print icon.
Under "Pages to Print", make sure "Current view" is selected under "More options" (you may need to click "More options" to open it).
If you aren't satisfied with the preview, try clicking "Fit" under the Size button.
SNAPSHOT
Choose Edit > Take A Snapshot.
Drag a rectangle around the area you want to print.
Click the Print icon.
Under "Pages to Print", make sure that "Selected Graphic" is selected under "More options".
To enlarge the snapshot to fit the sheet of paper, choose "Fit" under the Size button.

I want to understand if we change User logon Name to Employee Number format in Active Directory for all User accounts, then what would be the impact on existing profile. Whether we need to change it manualy or it will connect to same profiles in terminal
session.
As i observed it create new profile after logon name changed to employee number where existing users profile settings get fails to load and prompt for new settings (such as outlook reconfiguration, share drive mapping etc.).
Kindly let me know the proper process to overcome with this, how to connect same existing roaming profile with employee number format change.

Yes, it will affect roaming profiles. Please rename the roaming profile folder as the new user account name, in addition, change the profile path in ADUC.

Check if user is part of AD group using System.DirectoryServices.AccountManagement namespace

I am trying to validate a user from SharePoint to see if a user exists within an AD group. SharePoint does not allow you to do this so I am using the:

How to check for user login in a header?

What is a good way to make sure the user has logged in on many web pages? I implement the property and method in the session bean to keep track of whether the user has logged in or not and that's fine. I tried to use a Page Fragment to check if the user is logged in, but Page Fragment does not seem to redirect with getExternalContext().redirect("Login.jsp").
I also tryed to use <jsp:include> to include a header to test for login, but JSF doesn't seem to like me adding that to the page (got error).
Also, is there a good way to prevent the target page to even execute the rowset if the user is not logged in? It seem like the page has to complete all the rowset data binding before being redirected to another page, even if I put the redirection as part of the page initialization. This is difficult because I can't expect all the pages to have query result when the user is not even logged in.
This is very basic web application function but it seems so hard to do with Studio Creator.

One thought though, when I was playing around with that solution I noticed that everything gets filtered.
i.e. images, so maybe you chould place some thing on the page (image) and when it comes through .. do something. I know its not quite as good, because your back to having to put something on each page (or restricted pages).
The images won't be wrong, unlike the URL .. maybe not images maybe something else. good luck

If remove (unreg) from ZCM this WS and import Again - all properies will be OK...
( I have some such for a long time imported machines with similar problems. )
