How to clear the input values in WD4A

Hi all,
Thanks in Advance.
In my login page i have ID and Password.If Login fails it back to the same login page.But at the same time the entered(In ID and Password)will be cleared.If i write the code in inboundhandler is it correct means how can i write to invalidate the input values???Is there any examples or related links???

the senario is i have keyfiger heading like DESPATCHES MADE ON (0CALDAY) and CUMMULATIVE DESPATCHES FOR (0CALMONTH), the 0CALDAY is the input value of the report. so how to get the value of the 0CALDAY and 0CALMONTH in the heading name of the key figer.

How to clear the input fields

when I click on search button, I get the search result, but along with those results, I see some input fields automatically assigned the values in the search input, which should not be.
values are assigned to these fields because of controller context field values, once the values are populated these values are assigned everywhere where istle feild referring to.
How to keep the user input without changes?

You set contradictory requirements: on one hand you have mapping, where values are always synchronized; on other hand you whant them to be unique.
Just break your existing mappings.
1. Create separate attributes in view context(s) if you do not need to access them in component controller or you do not need to be synchronized between views.
2. Create unique set of attributes in component controller for combination of attributes that really must be synchronized. Then map view context attributes accordingly.

I am using JDeveloper11.1..1.5
I have one main page inside that i am including 3 more pages by using <jsp:include> tag with the help of Radio buttons.
For each and Every page one backing bean is associated as Session Scope. Now my problem is when i navigate from one page to another page the values are not getting cleared.
Can anyone tell how can i achieve this?

Either you can use a reset method call in the taskflow between the page navigations. Also, you can try to include createinsert method call in between the pages. try and set the values to null on page load. It should work.

Can you please more elaberate., perhaps you should more elaberate.
sqlplus is a program. you start it from the korn shell. when it's finished, processing control returns to the korn shell. the korn shell and sqlplus do not communicate back and forth.
so "spool the output from .sql file to some txt file from k shell, while passing the input parameters to the sql file from korn shell" makes no sense.

To read the 'Input help with fixed values' of domain , you can use the function module : HR_P_GET_FIXED_VALUE_TEXT.
iIf you enter the domain name, you will find the fixed values entered in the domain.
These values are stored in a table DD07L(DD zero 7 L). Here the values are stored based on domain name.
See if it works for you.

1. Should we maintain OIM for all Excise G/Ls (BED, ECess, SHECess)?
- Please DO NOT maintain OIM on BED, ECESS and HECESS, only to be maintained for Cenvat Clearing Account. Also note that clearing of Cenvat Clearing is not easy, as in standard SAP, the assignment field is not updated with the same information for the Dr. and cr. line items of Cenvat Clearing Account. You need to use an exit in Substitution for it to populate the P.O. no. and line item at the time of MIRO.
2. How to clear the BED Excise GLs which is with OIM in our system, it is thru F.13 only?
You can use F.13 only if the entries are matching not otherwise, else clear all of them manually if you have good control of your account balances.
3. Can we activate or deactivate OIM any point of time, I mean can it be activated in case the G/L balance amount is not ZERO?
OIM activation for a GL - Refer Note No.1356457.
OIM Deactivation : You can deactivate OIM after making the balance Zero on that Account and by changing the Message No. FH 190 to warning in OBA5.
4. What is the use of T Code J2IUN, I have gone thru the SDN links, but I am not able to execute the screen. What parameter should we select while executing J2IUN, when we use Pay cenvat from ser tax cr and Pay ser tax from cenvat cr.
J2IUN is to utllize Excise Duty. The liability of Excise duty is utilized from Excise balances of BED, PLA , Service tax etc.. as per business requirements.

How to retain screen input values in HR program on BACK ?

I have a report program in HR, using LDB "PNP" and Report category : PSSPCDOC.
After the program is executed and the report is displayed on screen, if the user clicks the BACK button (F3), the selection screen is displayed with initial values. The input values provided by the user previously get lost.
I debugged and it seems that the memory gets cleared everytime the BACK button is clicked.
But i want to retain the user inputs on the selection screen if the user clicks the BACK button because the user wants to change some selection inputs not all.
I am new to HR module, please let me know how to solve this issue.

You can make use of SAP memeory. in the AT-SELECTION-SCREEN event, you can upload selection data in the defined memory area. Then you can make a check in the AT-SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT for that memory area and if that area has some data, you can show that into the screen in that event.
Thus, first time when User execute the program, that memory area would be initial. However, if user select Back after execution of selection screen, data will get loaded into the memory area and will display in the screen once again.

After calling the valuechange method, the screen output doesn't update the cost.
How to update the table value in the valuechange event?

As you're misusing the valueChangeListener to set another input field, you need to skip the update model values phase. Otherwise the value set in the valueChangeListener will be overridden by the submitted value. You can do this by calling the FacesContext#renderResponse() inside the valueChangeListener method. This will shift the current phase immediately to the render response phase, hereby skipping the update model values and invoke application phases.
