How to click a button through codings...

I want to know whether there is a method to click jButton through a command, so that the code within the actionPerformed method gets executed...
like in VB "Button_1.click()"

I have been creating 5boutons on Popup Message [ "Can1", "Can2" .....] and that we can click once to execute the programm eg Can1Sequence or Can2Sequence.
I 'like to know if it is possible to click on two buttons at a time that is to say can click the same button twice or clicking two different buttons and can execute both programs in parallel.

How to click a button using activex webbrowser??

i am trying to click on the"generate Ephemeris" button using the activex webbrowser container.

Using this code, it just click on the seach button. I tried to change the index number but still clicking the "search button".
What i am doing wrong???

I tried before using the "name" field rather than the "index" field extracted from the html web page code with negative results. I used the name "go" and also "Generate Ephemeris" or "submit".

How to click a button that is within another vi

Hi All
I am stuck with a problem
I have two vi's. A MainVI and a SubVI. The SubVi is located within the MainVI. The Sub VI is like a continuous loop and can be stopped only by pressing a STOP button on the SUBVI front panel.
I need to control this STOP button from the front panel of the MainVI. But the problem is that, until the SubVI executes completely, no changes made on the MainVi will be read.
The following methods have failed
Tried to pull the STOP button from the SubVI as a terminal.
Using global variables.
Is there anything like reference variables that can achieve this task.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Sending mail through clicking a button

hi,
I am using oracle developer suite 10g and oracle database 10g.
the problem is like this , I have a table named emp which has two columns
employee_id number primary key,
and last_name varchar2(20) ;
I have two text boxes names :block3.text_item8 and :block3.text_item9 , and a push button named push_button4;
when I click on the button the data inside the text_boxes will be saved in the emp table as declared and also a mail will be sent to an email address which will be provided through another text_item :block3.text_item10 in the format say [email protected] .
I can save the data after clicking the button through simple dml queries , but I am not able to send the auto genearted mail which will send a message to that e-mail address that an entry with this mail account has been made .
could you please help me with a step by step procedure to do this.

There are several options for sending email.
1) Write a stored procedure using utl_smtp or utl_mail (new with 10g). This is the easiest to implement. See for example: www.psoug.org/reference/utl_mail.html
Problems you can have here: your smtp server does not allow you to send email or won't relay emails from your side. Most problems I have seen with this implementation were related to the smtp server.
2) Use the javamail PJC/javabean from the Oracle PJC demos. This one is a bit easier to implement but does require some preliminary setup. You might have to check the smtp server again and make sure it can relay your emails.

I requested a repair, but there was an error after clicking the button with my credit card info. I was still charged, but the form email I received the next day had incorrect info about my iPod Touch problem. How can I contact CS w/o paying $19?!

My iPod Touch battery is not working. I requested a repair through the Apple Support. On the final page, when I clicked the button that puts the info through with your credit card number, the resulting page gave an error (I wish I'd have saved it!). Anyhow, I checked my credit card and it was charged, so I assumed the repair request went through. The next day I received a form email saying my problem was with "Sync with iTunes (Not iCloud) - Data Backup/Migration (not iCloud)" instead of the battery repair. It also says for iPod customers, to send your iPod to Apple - but I had requested the "iPod Coffin" to be mailed to me so I could send it back. Obviously there was an error between the request and what was received, so I'd like to ask Customer Service about it. However, I can't find a way to contact them. When I replied to that form email, I recieved an automated reply saying emails there were not read. Anything online asks me to pay $19 and I don't have the correct issues to request an exception. The closest store is over an hour away or I'd simply go there to ask. What can I do?! Any suggestions you have are much appreciated. Thank you!
PS - The form email also says if I wait 10 days the repair request will be canceled. Does this mean my credit card will be refunded for the $85 battery replacement charge if it is canceled automatically?

Thanks, but I've been on the phone with AppleCare US (where I am and live) and AppleCare UK. They continue bouncing me back and forth without helping resolve the problem.
Perhaps someones knows how to further escalate the issue at Apple?

How to have a button remove itself when clicked?

Here is my code...it should technically work, shouldn't it? Yet when you try it out and click the first button it will fail to refresh or update the frame. When I resize the frame after clicking the first button, the three buttons that were there before disappear and the new button appears. What can I do to fix this? Please help, try it out for yourself and see.
Also, if you can explain to me, how can I center these buttons all to the right?

How to call a swing form from another swing form by clicking a button

i created a swing frame , this frame have a form and an internal form. in this form have 3 buttons OK , CANCEL , NEW. i created some other forms i.e OKFORM, CForm,NForm. i want to invoke the OkForm when i click OK Button, Similar implimentation for other buttons too. i want the button logic to invoke other form. please send reply ASAP.

I have several imap accounts and want to click one button to empty all junk mail at once. How can I do this?

I currently run Apple Mail on Lion with several IMAP acocunts... I know that there is a right-click option to remove "all deleted" messages but what If I wanted to do the same for all messages marked at junk in all accounts. It's really a pain to have to click on each account, select all the junk in the junk folder, press delete over and over.. and then right-click and select "Erase Deleted Items" Why the heck can't they just have "Erase All Spam Items" also... ?? Or how about "Erase all SPAM and DELETED ITEMS from ALL accounts" ????

I found the solution and here's how to correct things:
Apple Mail
Mail has a feature, accessible from the Mailbox Behaviors (or Special Mailboxes) tab of the Accounts preferences, that can automatically delete old spam messages from the Junk mailbox. You can use this feature if you tell SpamSieve to put spam messages in the Junk mailbox instead of the Spam mailbox.
(Note: If you do this, be careful not to use the Junk and Not Junk buttons that will appear in Mail when the Junk mailbox is active; you should always use the SpamSieve - Train as Good and SpamSieve - Train as Spam commands instead. You can use the Customize Toolbar… command in Mail’s View menu to remove the Junk button from the toolbar. Also, if you select a message that SpamSieve has classified as spam, Mail will show a banner saying that you marked it as junk. Ignore this.)
Make sure that Mail knows which mailbox is your Junk mailbox by selecting it and choosing Mailbox ‣ Use This Mailbox For ‣ Junk.
To tell SpamSieve to use the Junk mailbox, open Mail’s Preferences window and click on Junk Mail. Make sure that Enable junk mail filtering is checked. Select Move it to the Junk mailbox. If Mail asks whether you want to move all the messages to the Junk mailbox, say No. Next, select Perform custom actions. Then click theAdvanced… button and edit the rule such that the conditions don’t match any messages. For example, use these two conditions:
Message is addressed to my Full Name
Message is not addressed to my Full Name
and set it to If all of the following conditions are met. Click OK to close the sheet. Do not make any further changes to the Junk Mail preferences.
Go to the Rules section of Mail’s preferences and change the SpamSieve rule to move the messages to the Junk mailbox instead of the Spam mailbox. Finally, chooseSpamSieve - Change Settings from Mail’s Message menu and, when prompted, say that the name of your spam mailbox is Junk.

How to use one button to drive another button click

I'm trying to figure out a way to fix a bug in my application. The simple fix would be to have a single button that drives a MouseCLICK event on another button everytime the PlayBar in my application reaches the end of the screen and returns to its origin.
How would I achieve this? I have made a lot of headway since I last posted a question in the ActionScript 3 forum, which was only yesterday evening.

The application is an audio application. It is like a drum machine sort of.
Currently there is a grid and whenever active cells get hitTest'ed by the PlayBar they become deactivated, the PlayBar returns to the origin, and when you relaunch the Play functionality the deactivated cells no longer play a sound.
I have a button which reactivates the sounds.
I also have a button which has a bug in it that loops the sounds.
To go around the looper button that has a bug in it I would like to use a Button "Z" which automatically clicks the "reactivate the sounds" button every time the PlayBar returns to the origin and the PlayBar will then continue to play and return to the origin in a looping fashion. If the Button Z is in an active state this looping will continue. To stop looping, click the Button Z until it is no longer in an active state and the PlayBar will then remain at the origin.

How can i print an excel spreadsheet file by clicking a button on the front panel

i have designed a vi that logs data into an excel spreadsheet. i want to take print out of the file when the user clicks a button on the front panel. what to do if there is very large amount of data.

Printing the Excel sheet is just an ActiveX method call to print the worksheet. To add data to the worksheet, you already have the reference, just call a print method. As for handling large amounts of data, that is a vague question. The data will print how ever you placed it on the worksheet. If what you mean is that you don't want to print out 25 pages every time, the print method has options to only print specific pages or ranges. You may want to play around with a sample spreadsheet to learn the printing options. For help on the ActiveX functions, make sure you have the Visual Basic help installed for Excel.
