According to the SMTP protocol (from it's frist implementation RFC 821 - Aug. 1982, to the latest RFC 2821 - Apr 2001) , the HELO command is issued by a client to initiate a conversation with the server. Actually The HELO should be superseeded by the EHLO command but it's mantained for compatibility with earlier implementation as a fallback.
Anyway if you intend to configure your server to use only the HELO command when initiating a conversation with another server, you could use the keyword nohelo on the channel, but it's not standard; instead you could use the keyword checkehlo that tries to initiate the conversation with the standard ehlo command, and if it doesn't succede, then it falls back to the old helo mechanism.

I am using ati hd 3200 which is integrated with my motherboard. If you are using arch you can download & install through pacman. The package is named like catalyst*. You can install them by issuing as root user
#pacman -Sy

After installation reboot your machine in runlevel 1. (single mode). Ensure "fglrx" module is loaded correctly using
#lsmod | grep -i fglrx
If the resultant output have "fglrx" part the module is loaded correctly. The next step is to create a working /etc/X11/xorg.conf. Backup your current xorg.conf if needed.
#cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.bkup
Then issue
#aticonfig --initial --input=/etc/X11/xorg.conf
This will create a new xorg.conf file. Now we can test our confign.
#telinit 3

I am learning GP(Guided processor)according the document

I meet two question when I learn the GP.
The first:
This document don't tell me how to config the member framework of the company. After I design the GP, I have to config the user and role in the runtime for executing. I hope I can use the WDA(webdynpro for java or webdynpro for java) to implement to config the user for executing in the runtime. Thus, the customer don't config the user when runing the GP. But I don't know how to do this.
I need a document guide step by step to tell me how to do this.
The second:
If I use the workflow in the GP, I have to install and config the NWDI(Netweaver Development Infrastructure). Now I have installed the NWDI, but I don't know config it so that I can download it to my machine for develop the workfolw in the GP.
Do you give me some hints? Thanks a lot.

I am better to hope that I can set the processor to the role for every actions in every process in the runtime through get the organizational structure in the WDA(webdynpro for java or webdynpro for java). Thus, the customer don't set the processor to the role for every action in every process when runing in the GP. I don't know how to do this.
Whether the function is not supported in the GP? If so, I have to config two organizational structure: in the R/3 and in the Portal. I don't think our customer don't receipt this solution.

Dear Aamir,
Please copy TNSNAMES.ORA file from your Database Home/NETWORK/ADMIN directory and copy that in NETWORK/ADMIN directory where you installed Forms/Reports 6i. then you can connect to your server by using SID as host string like: system/manager@<SID example: ORCL>

It is always a good idea to run the Validator tool to verify a deployment.
The PKCS11.cfg file referenced below is an optional configuration file, that needs to be present/configured if-and-only-if HSM access needs to be enabled on the server.
The error you are seeing below is not something to be concerned about unless you plan to enable HSM access on the server. The stack trace is a DEBUG level log message. If you notice, the INFO log message suggests that this is not a critical error. When such an error is encountered with the PKCS11 config file, the server automatically defaults to not using HSM.

You need do the following for oracle type4 driver:
1) register the driver:
$IAS_HOME/bin/jdbcsetup
Driver Identifier: Oracle_Type4_816 (whatever name you like)
Driver Classname: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
Driver Classpath: .../classes12.zip (install this this zip file somewhere
and add this zip into the Classpath later).
2) DataSource Setup:
start iAS Administration Tool (iASAT)
Choose Database, unfold iAS1 (your app server instance),
choose External JDBC Datasource -> add: DataSource Registration
JNDI Name: yourPoolName
Driver Type: Oracle_Type4_816 (select what you just register)
DataSource Url: jdbc:oracle:thin:@hostName:portName:dbName
Username: your_user_name
Password: your_passwd
(Datasource Pool: using defaults for now): you can also customrize the
parameters for the pool.
3. Add classes12.zip into CLASSPATH.
In your application, you can use JNDI lookup to get the DataSource from
which you get the connection from the pool.

Hi,
It is not clear what you meaning about multiple environments. Do you mean these environments are in different directories or in the same directory ? If you mean environments in different dirs share the same cache, it is interesting why you need that.
If you do not use DB_PRIVATE to open the environment, the created cache will be on disk, in the environment directory, so it can be shared by multiple processes and multiple threads. Currently, the cache file is in the environment directory, and we do not support specifying a separate directory for cache only.

At the end of the Oracle Clusterware software install a number of Configuration
assistants are run automatically. In that Virtual IP configuration assistant configures the VIPS for you.
To run it manually, To re run vipca run the vipca.bat (root.sh in linux) file from the Oracle clusterware bin directory.Follow the prompts for VIPCA to select the appropriate interface for the public network, and assign the VIPs for each node when prompted. Manually running VIPCA with the same IPs should complete successfully.

FYI, unless the device is officially unlocked from AT&T, you will not be able to use it on another carrier.

Tomcat without Apache - How to Config ?

i have a tomcat 3.3 installation on linux.
In the webapps path i have created the WEB_INF directory in which are my servlet classes and my xml files.
but I dont know how to config the Tomcat to call my login servlet in this url
http:\\localhost:8080\mtp\login
There is no apache installed on this machine. And all docs i found is in association with apache but i have no tomcat-apache.conf file.......

Your servlets belong to the web-inf/classes dir. You normally reach them thru:
server:port/servlet/package.myservlet
Also remember that servlets do not work if you don�t specify a package, on tomcat I think anyway.

Hi,
in my case, I am trying to configure the OBPM directory using ALUI and its native LDAP service.
Now, I found that the first name and the last name in BPM are retrieved from the ALUI display name : provided we enter the display name in the format %first name% + %last name% we get them into BPM. But the display name is not always in this format...
In addition, it's the portal telephone number information which is retrieved into BPM Telephone and Fax numbers.
And, the email adress remains blank
I have installed the latest patch for OBPM (Version: 10.3.1.0.0 Build: #97172)
Would you have any documentation about creating a Profile Web Service in ALUI and specifying which LDAP attributes to map to which ALUI properties in the Profile Source ?

How to config the proxy of Bpel process manager(with password)

HI, i met the quetion as below
The The Oracle BPEL Process Designer & Manager server is installed on my computer in domin of my company, so if One of the BPEL processes deployed on the BPEL server needs to access a synchronous Web service hosted outside the firewall .i need to config the proxy, but the proxy of my company needs my ID and password to access outside . after I congfig the proxy
option of designer and build the Process, there will be pop-up a dialog box and ask for my ID & password .But how i config the proxy of Bpel process manager?? I read the tecnote about HTTP Proxy Configuration and config the proxy in the obsetenv.bat ,but it seems has no information about my ID&password in obsetenv.bat.
The question is How can i let the Bpel process manager know my proxy and ID&password ?? pls help me ,thx!

I have set these value in obsetenv.bat as follows, and I restart the Bpel manager server and designer.
but the same issue still occur:
