  • How to configure third party order ?

    how to configure third party order ? and how the business know that the customer has received the goods so that invoice to be raised?

    hi shoban,
    Third party order processing is as follows:
    Assume three companies X, Y and Z
    X - The company,
    y - The customer
    Z - Vendor
    When ever X gets a PO from Y to supply some goods, X has an option of either manufacturing those goods or procuring those goods.
    If he is procuring the goods, there are two methods that are generally followed:
    Method 1) After receiving the PO from Y, X creates a sales order against Y.
    Now at the same time he also creates a PO to a vendor Z to produce the goods
    Z produces the goods and supplies to X
    X receives the goods from Z
    Then X delivers the same goods to Y.
    After that X invoices Y and Z invoices X.
    Note : Here there is no direct/ Indirect relation between Z and Y.
    This process is known as Trading Process. and the Material here is created  with Material type HAWA.
    The other method is a Third party order processing method:
    Here the glaring difference is that instead of Z supplying the material to X and X in turn supplying the same material to Y.
    X authorizes Z to supply the material to Y on his behalf and notify him once the delivery is complete.
    Now Z supplies the material to Y and acknowledges the same to X.
    Z  will send a copy of delivery acknowledgement and invoice to X.
    After receiving the delivery confirmation and invoice from Z, X has to verify the invoice and this process is known as invoice verification and is done in SAP through Tcode MIRO.
    The next step for X  is to create an invoice and submit to Y
    Only after the invoice verification document is posted  then only X can create an invoice for Y.
    This is the business flow that is followed for third party order configuration.
    There are few steps that have to be configured to enable the system to function as mentioned above.
    Step1)
    If you are always followwing a third party process for a material then you have to create the material using item category group BANS.
    The procument type should be marked as External procurement (F) in MRP 2 view of the material master record.
    if you are not always allowing third party order processing then u can create a material master record with item category group as NORM and the procurement type should be marked as ( X) meaning both types of procurment ( in house manufacturing and external procurement).
    step 2)
    the item category in the order should be manually changed as TAS.
    For that you need to confugure the item category determination
    ord type + item cat grp + usge + Hiv level = Item cat + Manual item cat
    OR + NORM +      +       = TAN . + TAS
    OR + BANS +       +       = TAS
    Step 3)
    make sure that during the item category configuration for TAS  you need to mark relevnat for billing indicator as F
    step 4)
    The schedule line cateogry for this type should be CS.
    make sure that you mark  subsequent type as NB - purchase requisition  in this schedule line category as this will trigger the purchase requision order immediately after the creation of the sales order and the PO to vendor is created against this purchase requiesion.
    Hope it helps

  • How to get the XML messages from JMS Queue in BPM

    I have one requirement in my application.we are sending XML messages to the JMS Queue.How to get the XML messages from JMS Queue and how to Extract the details from XMl.
    can you please send me the code to get the XML messages from the JMS Queue.
    Thank you,

    Hi,
    Sure others will have some other ideas, but here's what I typically do to get the XML from a JMS queue. Inside the Global Automatic that pops the messages off the queue you'd have logic similar to this:
    artifactInfoNodes as Any[]
    xmlObject as Fuego.Xml.XMLObject = XMLObject()
    load xmlObject using xmlText = message.textValue
    . . . Once you have this, it's a matter of deciding what you want to do with the message. Most times you'll parse the XML (using XPATH statemens), set argument variables and create a work item instance.
    Hope this helps,

  • How to send to Weblogic 9.1 JMS queue from EJB running in Glassfish?

    Hi.
    I hope this is the correct forum.
    I need to send a message to a jms queue on a remote weblogic 9.1 server. To this end I believe I will have to:
    1) Install one or more weblogic client libraries/jar files on my glassfish application server. The weblogic server expects communication in the "t3" protocol, which I believe tunnels iiop, jms etc. inside their own proprietary protocol
    2) Define the jms queue in my glassfish application server with a queue connection factory that creates the queue using classes from the weblogic jars?
    3) Otherwise code the EJB methods sending messages as I would code and send messages to any jms queue
    It's the first two steps that have me baffled. The more I dig in glassfish administrator's manual, the more confused I become.
    Anybody have any idea if/how this can be accomplished?
    Some reference to where I may find information as to how to accomplish this?
    Thank you,
    Jacob.

    Jacob,
    I suggest you try, either a GlassFish forum (http://forums.java.net/jive/forum.jspa?forumID=56), or perhaps the GenericJMSRA project https://genericjmsra.dev.java.net .This forum is primarily about the Sun JMS provider, Java MQ or Open MQ -- or the JMS Specification.

  • How to get an XMLBean off the jms queue

              Hello all,
              I think I can post an XMLBean to a JMS queue, but how to I read it off the JSM
              queue from within a MDB?
              When I cast the message from the onMessage(Message msg) event to my XMLBEan, I
              get a class cast exception.
              I want to post some form data to a MDB to kick off some processes.
              Here is the code that generates the XML bean and posts it to my jms :
              VCALENDARDocument vcaldoc = VCALENDARDocument.Factory.newInstance();
              VCALENDAR vcalendar = vcaldoc.addNewVCALENDAR();
              VEVENT vevent = vcalendar.addNewVevent();
              vcalendar.setProdid(form.getProdid());
              vcalendar.setVersion(form.getVersion());
              vevent.setDtstart(form.getDtstart());
              vevent.setDtend(form.getDtend());
              vevent.setSummary(form.getSummary());
              vevent.setOrganizer(form.getOrganizer());
              appointmentCtrl.sendAppointmentRequest(vcalendar, "12345");
              Here the code in the JMS Control:
              public interface AppointmentCtrl extends JMSControl,com.bea.control.ControlExtension
              * @jc:jms-property key="accountIdentifier" value="{accountID}"
              * @jc:jms-property key="transactionType" value="NOT SUPPORTED"
              public void sendAppointmentRequest(VCALENDAR vcalendar, String accountID);
              static final long serialVersionUID = 1L;
              Here is how I am trying to read it off the queue in my MDB:
              public void onMessage(Message msg)
              VCALENDAR vcalendar = (VCALENDAR)msg;
              System.out.println("Message received");

    Hi,
    As far as i know, JMS Object Messages is not supported by XI JMS adapter.
    you need to have the JMS provider to transform the message to bytes messages.

    What is jsr170.jndi.name attribute? Why do I need this one.
    Where can I get api doc for the package com.day.content.spi.jsr170 or for the class com.day.content.spi.jsr170.JNDIRepository?

    What is jsr170.jndi.name attribute? Why do I need this one.
    Where can I get api doc for the package com.day.content.spi.jsr170 or for the class com.day.content.spi.jsr170.JNDIRepository?
    Suppose if the bea portal server and 3rd party content server are running at different JVMs(in diffrent machines) and still If want use in-process JNIDRepository adapter class, do I need to deploy an ejb bean at content server which returns RepositoryImpl instace?(assuming that content server it self deployed in j2ee server).
    Please correct me if my understanding is wrong and also plese give me more details.
    Thanks

  • How to run thrid party exe

    Hi,
    I'm new to netbeans,
    I'm trying to make a GUI to that it can run a third-party command-line exe.
    the command that I'm trying to work on is as follows:
    clic mp3play.gd -i c:\test.mp3
    where:
    clic is the main exe.
    mp3play.gd  -i is the parameter
    test.mp3 is the actual file, which is the user input.
    Thanks in advance
    Pls do help me out.

    Thanks it did helped me..
    Now can I ask u how do you actually stop the running application (same third party exe; that is executed earlier.).. without stopping the whole GUI.
    the problem am having is that when application is running.. non of the buttons respond on the GUI. My code is as below:
    try {
                    Runtime rt = Runtime.getRuntime();
                    File file = fc.getSelectedFile();              //defined earlier in code.
                    result = file.getPath();                          //defined earlier in code.
                    String command = "cmd /c clic c:\\mp3play.gd -i " + result;
                    Process pr = rt.exec(command);
                    BufferedReader input = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(pr.getInputStream()));
                    String line=null;
                    while((line=input.readLine()) != null) {
                        System.out.println(line);
                    int exitVal = pr.waitFor();
                    System.out.println("Exited with error code "+exitVal);
                } catch(Exception e) {
                    System.out.println(e.toString());
                    e.printStackTrace();
                }When I execute, the whole GUI becomes irresponsive untill the application stops by it self.
    Thanks

  • How to Configure and Use Oracle's JMS Connector with Tibco Enterprise

    Following the advice here: http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/java/oc4j/1013/how_to/how-to-connect-to-tibco/doc/how-to-connect-to-tibco.html
    I believe I need to provide a username and password for the Tibco JMS provider, and would like to know the correct way. Is this right, in orion-application.xml
        <resource-provider class="com.evermind.server.deployment.ContextScanningResourceProvider" name="TibcoJMSReference">
            <property
                name="java.naming.factory.initial"
                value="com.tibco.tibjms.naming.TibjmsInitialContextFactory">
            </property>
            <property
                name="java.naming.provider.url"
                value="tibjmsnaming://jleinawe-sun:7222">
            </property>
      <property name="java.naming.security.principal" value="user" />
      <property name="java.naming.security.credentials" value="password" />
        </resource-provider>

    This is kind of up to Tibco...
    When you add properties to the resource-provider element, you are just adding entries to a Map which gets passed to the initial context factory, which in this case is implemented by Tibco (TibjmsInitialContextFactory), so you may want to check their docs.
    It's possible they only use that for username/password for JNDI access purposes and not for JMS. If so, you can explicitly set username/password for outbound connections in the oc4j-ra.xml file, and using ResUser/ResPassword in the MDB's activation-spec to set username/password for inbound connections.
