How to confirm target URL after OutBinding?

Is there some way to see what URL a message is being sent to within Message monitoring? In other words, where do I see the communication channel being executed.

Use the MDT to see the final SOAP message sent out of the communication channel. That should have details that you want,

Look for the options in "Host Name or IP Address Used to Refer to Embedded OC4J".

How to set Target URL in Jdeveloper 10.1.3

There is an error when i build a portlet with Jdeveloper coz Target URL is wrong
So i want to set Target URL again to referenced to localhost
( I set in hosts file:
*192.168.1.2 namdinh.com*
but when I build my portlet, Target URL still is http://192.168.1.2:8988..... )
Please show me what i must do in this case :(

How to get Target URL

Hallo,
In my Dynpage portal application.I use 3 Jsp's.One of the Jsp having a Iframe element.This iframe source is an External HTTP address.In the source tag i have to supply the Results frame as some Iframe name and result-url as my 3rd jsp url,so that i can unpack the XML and process the data.
All the 3 Jsp's are in /pagelet/ folder.Does anybody know how to get the url for the Jsp inside the pagelet folder.
Further more pagelet folder is private folder,will it be a problem for the external website to post the result to this private /pagelet/3rd.jsp.

You are right,it is Jspdynpage.I have already read about the Urlgenerator that it can generate url's only for components and pages.So i have created 2 components in one PAR but havent tested yet.

How to return to record after updating (ie add a url with variable)

Soap receiver target url

Hi guys,
I'm having some doubts on a soap receiver adapter.
Imagine, you use the ID to define a webservice.
Two simple synchronous interfaces, meaning, you send a string and receive another string via SOAP.
In the ID you define the comm channels, the soap sender and receiver.
My doubt is in the receiver side, you have tou specify the target URL. The problem is, how can I know the target URL, since the service will only be defined later. Meaning, I want XI to answer to a sender client which will use the WSDL generated after by the ID tool.
Where should XI answer to?
I've seen some blogs concerning some similar issues, but none concerning the problem I'm facing.
Can you guys help me or give me any hints on how to work around the problem...

If you have a SOAP client sending a request message to XI and expecting a Response message, you need to configure SOAP sender adapter only. You do not need SOAP receiver adapter in this scenario. Sender adapter doesnt require any URL, moreover when you define a webservice in XI, you have to construct a URL where this web service can be reached.
You need the SOAP receiver adapter (where u need to mention the URL of teh service) if the receiver system exposes a webservice to which you are trying to connect from XI.

Session logoff with new target url using BSP_MODEL template

Hi,
I implemented the session management pages as used in ITSM. However I had some problems when calling the application in a popup (somehow the deletion of the session appears also after the 2nd start of the app deleting all my created models)
So I decided to try the slightly different pages from BSP_MODEL. Et voila problem solved.
However I have this button with:
onClientClick = "parent.exitBSPApplication( '<%= l_url %>');"
So a new problem because this is not used in the BSP_MODEL default.htm.
What did I do
1. I added a parameter to the script like in ITSM
function exitBSPApplication(newTargetUrl)
2. Copied 2 lines from the ITSM script
document.getElementById("FRAMESETID").onunload = null;
window.setTimeout('{document.location.href="'newTargetUrl'";}', 750);
This would do the trick I thought. However pressing the button results in going to the new target url, but sadly does not close the session.
I already tried to delete the 'and application->counter = 0' but this is not working either.
Any suggestions?

It is important not to look directly at all the subtle different bits of code. Rather understand the big picture. Our test programs, for example ITSM and/or BSP_MODEL have different versions of the general principle. This just reflects different goals we wanted to achieve, etc.
The minimum you need is a frameset with onUnload hooked, and then load you application inside this. You can even delete all of that loading stuff. Just fluff.
With this, if the window (only IE!) is closed, the onunload will still terminate the session.
The button is just to demonstrate an example of how to do this when you want an explicit logoff button in your application.
One last important aspect: if you restart the same application, then they share the same cookie, and things go wrong! Effectively you can kill the new instance instead of the old one.

How to add Friendly URLs in Weblogic Portal?

Hi,
We are developing a portal using Weblogic 10gR3. Right now the URL's that are getting formed are very long which includes the nfpb, nfls, pagelabel e.t.c. The requirement is to have a very user friendly url something like http://www.x.com/portal/<<pageLabel>>
The Weblogic documentation mentions something about URL compression, however unable to apply it for dynamic URL's. We have URL's which are formed on the fly from the WLP Content Repository
Is there some kind of servlet / filter provided within WLP. I read somewhere about an URLTransformationServlet. But there was no documentation on its usage. Can some one share a sample code snippet with me. That would be really really helpful, as we are having a slight time crunch here.
Any kind of help on this will be deeply appreciated. Thanks

I have also checked feasibility for the URL navigation changes provided and will not work for left menu

WLProxy configuration falls under the weblogic server product hence you will have to raise an SR with that product to get any suggestions.
Before that I would suggest you play around with the parameter I have suggested and see how it is impacting the url and then if there is any specific area you are stuck on check with the WLS team.
Like I mentioned earlier, I do not know if this will completely meet your business requirement, but something you can look into.

URLCompression servlet is the only option that weblogic portal provides out of the box to compress the URL of WLP. I understand this does not suite your requirement.
The other option I can think of that can possibly help you achieve this is to configure any weblogic proxy plugin that you might be making use of, see the document

How to track the URL that comes from a referred page using XSQL Custom Handler

Hi,
I have a cold fusion page(say cf.cfm) that sent a request to xsql page(say test.xsql) and then xsql page displays results. I want to capure the URL of cf.cfm page and then after checking its host name and path name for correctness then want to display the test.xsql results.
Please let me know how can I capture URL of the refered page(cf.cfm) in the Custom Handler and then I want to extract host-name and path-name out of that url and on the basis of their values I want to display the result of XSQL page(test.xsql).

After I posed the above, I saw that the url on the exception is munged.
I didn't stumble over how to manually override that url.
Instead, I added remote jmx capability to the process and added a connector. That is my work around.

Drive Utility Help Viewer "does not know how to handle selected URL"

I have Drive Utility 10.5.6, according to . I'm trying to reformat a FAT32 partition on an external drive to Mac OS X Ext. Journaled in preparation for using SuperDuper to back up my Mac HD boot partition. For a time, which seems to have passed, now that erasing the partition has been done. The Disk Utility Help wouldn't work. Instead of putting up topic information, I got a message saying "Help Viewer does not know how to handle selected URL", followed by an reference to an html file that allegedly existed inside a set of folders inside the app. Where, of course, Finder cannot see. Once the erasing was done, Help seems to have come back. I tried Apple Support, but could only get a reference to OS 9 Appleworks macros not working in OS X. No help at all. Is this a question? I don't know. Help is working now. But for a while it was very annoying. It must be one of those little windows glitches that no one ever bothered to fix.

In order to change a FAT or NTFS formatted drive for use with OS X you will need to do the following:
Extended Hard Drive Preparation
1. Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID (for Intel Macs) or APM (for PPC Macs) then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
If you have an Intel Mac and can partition the drive using GUID then you can have FAT32 and OS X partitions on the same drive.
As for problems with the Help viewer see:
In most cases doing the following will restore the Help Viewer:
1. Trash the following three files, if extant:
/Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.help.plist
/Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.helpui.plist
/Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.helpviewer.plist
2. Trash the /Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.helpui folder.
3. Empty the Trash and Restart.
