How to convert any CAML query to SharePoint Search query (like KQL , FQL )etc

Hi ,
To query multiple lists with lookup column, CAML query is preferred over Search API.
Is there an easy way to get this done with Search API or using Search OOB features like query rules,result types etc?
Can CAML query configured in Content search webpart

How to club 2 queries in one formatted search query

Hi All,
I have inserted a formatted search in the stock transfer for chnaging the 'From warehouse' based on series.
I have written following query for same,
SELECT $[$18.1.0]='08' WHERE $[OWTR.series] ='46'
It is working Fine
I want ot use same concept for selecting other based on other warehouse
e.g
SELECT $[$23.5.1]='02' WHERE $[OWTR.series] ='45'
But I am not able to club these queries on one formatted search query can anybody help to group it in one formatted search query....

it is not trivial task in common case. We faced with similar issue when tried to localize date times in display templates in Sharepoint 2013 depending on site's locale, which can be done only via javascript. In order to do it you need to add date time locale
information from server side to client side, e.g. by defining global variable. See the following article for details:

Having different date time formats for your locale, you may use
Date.localeFormat function from MS Ajax for formatting the date in specific format. If in your case format is predefined you may hardcode it without adding DateTime formats from server side.

How to convert any date format?

In the BPEL process I am getting the input in 'DD-MON-YYYY' format, I want to convert it to 'DD-MM-YYYY' format.
The function xp20:formatDateTime('string', 'image') expecting the string to be in 'YYYY-MM-DD' format. and the 'image' can be set to any format.
So i am able to convert to any format if I have the input string in 'YYYY-MM-DD' format, if I get in different format then how do I change them to required format?

Looks like you are sending the date in Oracle format. If the date is created by a DB adapter the date should be formated in the correct format for BPEL to format (YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MI:SS). To make sure this happensyour xml needs to be the date data type and the value sent maust be a date not a string, if it is a string use the to_date to make it a date field.
You are correct once it is in the YYYY-MM-DD format you can change to any format.

How to convert any datatype to a number

I have a query I'm writing, and for error-trapping purposes I want to convert whatever information I received in a bind variable into a number.
For instance, in my query:
SELECT TO_NUMBER('c') FROM dual
I get an error because 'c' is not a number. I'm usually expecting a number, but if for some reason I receive a character, I want to convert that character to a zero, and if I do receive a number I want it to retain its value. I hope this is clear!!!

How to use 'about' operator in Full text search query?

If use the following query

How to remove any kinds extensios in result search

In 'crawler.dat' file in 'default file name suffix exclusion list' session I add others extensios:
RX_BOUNDARY (?i:(?:\.jpg)|(?:\.jpeg) ... (?:\.css)|(?:\.js))$However, these files are showed in the result search of SES. I would like remove in result search *.js files, for example.
How could I do this?

That change will only affect files which are crawled in the future. It won't have any effect on results returned from previous crawls. You'll need to recrawl the source (or probably better, drop the source and recreate it) for that to have the proper effect.

Sir, even after i have the add-on plugin ad-block plus, some ads could not be blocked which is played by adobe flash player. How to block any and every ad either through image or flash player etc.,

i'm writting a java program to use xslt to transform the xml file. i'm encountering the problem when i try to convert the xslt file into string. i've defined my utility class called 'XmlUtil' to carry out the operation of transform xml file through xslt. but in my main java program i need to convert both xml and xslt file into a string in order to input them in my function argument. my function argument is as follows:

I don't understand why you need load the XML and XLS files into a String. A Transformer can be constructed from a Source and there is a StreamSouce which can be constructed from an InputStream. The transform() method can take a Source as input and can produce a Result. There is no need to go near a String representation of either the input.
