How to convert CHAR14 to TYPE P ?

Dear Experts,
due to a dump "CONVERSION_ERROR" I look for a way how to convert CHAR14 values (e.g. 70,12345678) to a target field TYPE P (e.g. 70,123) whereas the value than sould be rounded to exact value 70,125.
Does anyone know a workaround ?

How to convert flat file type from DAT to ASC

hello all
i am trying to download a flat file and trying to upload it in another program.
for this i am using gui_upload and gui_download function modules.
if i download the file as ASC and upload with ASC there is no problem.
if i download the file as DAT and upload with DAT its giving an exception invalid file type
if i download the file as DAT and upload with ASC its giving an exception bad data format.
but in real senario my customer is sending a flat file with DAT type and i am unable to upload it.
how to solve this problem?

when uploading DAT pass file type as 'ASC' and give HAS_FIELD_SEPARATOR = 'X'.
For other types see the code below.

write:/ w_temp1 , w_temp2.
For unicode,
DATA:
w_temp1 TYPE x value '00',
w_temp2(2) TYPE c.
w_temp1 = w_temp2.
write:/ w_temp1 .

Well, assuming element[1] is a String, or at least that it's toString() method returns something that represents a float...

My question is how to convert object wrapper type array into equivalent prime type array, e.g. Integer[] -> int[] or Float[] -> float[] etc.
Is sound like a trivial task however the problem is that I do not know the type I work with. To understand what I mean, please read the following code -

I think I've found the answer myself ;-)
Never thought I could use something like int.class or double.class,
so the next statement holds int[] q = (int[])Array.newInstance( int.class, 2 );
and the easy solution is the following -
Object primeArray = Array.newInstance( token.getPrimeClass(), split.length );
for (int j = 0; j < split.length; j++) {
     Method meth = clazz.getMethod( "valueOf", new Class[]{ String.class });
     Object val = meth.invoke( null, new Object[]{ split[j] });
     Array.set( primeArray, j, val );
}where "token.getPrimeClass()" return appropriate Class, i.e. int.class, float.class etc.

you cannot change the content type of a Message object which has been received. What you can do is create an instance of a MimeMessage class and set the content type as multipart and then add the received message as a bodypart to that message.
You can look at the javamail example codes as to how to create a new MimeMessage with multipart content.

Hi all, i have a driver file that outputs the screen capture in XY graph format. I want to measure period using the measurement functions in the LabVIEW palette. Can someone tell me how to convert into this "signal in" type. The X (time) and Y (power) are all there but it creates an error when i wire together?

Doing work about transfer Certificate through network using socket, after using
Certificate.getEncode() convert it into byte[] type, then send through network, but
at the receiver side, don't know how to convert the byte[] format back to the

actually I'm updating different tables using one table. the one table consists all the data like target table name and column name and the values also.
in the above query, the data type of value what I'm retreiving from pm_own.test_synch is different from target table column datatype.
so how could I change the type of retreiving value to the destination table column data type.

Actuallly I have two databases which I need to synch 2nd database using first database, synch in the not entore database but only few tables and only few columns and that too on specific where condotions. so I made so many queries and retreiving data into temp tables and then updating into target tables,
instead of above what I'm trying is I have created a stagiing table where I'll update the data (by using all above seelect queries) and update the target tables in one shot withoput using temp tables.
Bottom line is:
I need to get the report for the data that is getting updated daily before updating.
and before updating I should have previllage to decide whether to update or not..?

Possible Solution : Move it to source character field to string and string to raw field.
try to find FM , go in se37 and *RAW *
RSAB_CONVERT_RAW_TO_CHAR convert raw to char.

I have created the Wallet applet according to 'Zhiqun Chen" text book and named it WalletApp.java.
I have compiled this file to a class file.
This is where is I saved my file
C:\JavaCard\java_card_kit-2_2\samples\src\com\sun\javacard\samples\WalletApp\WalletApp.java.
But I don't really understand how to convert the class file.
May I know what is this for?
