How to convert RGB to RGBA?

Hello!
I have created graphics for a mobile game in illustrator. Now I need to to export those graphics from illustrator to rgba format (without transparency). How I do that?
Rgb is easy but this is first time I have do rgba png file. I have understood that I have to make rgb file with a alpha channel but without transparent pixels.

Here's how to convert RGB to CMYK:

1) File>Document Color Mode.
2) Tick CMYK instead of RGB.
You should be aware that the RGB and CMYK colours are fundamentally different, so most likely you will have to create at least some colours anew, and you will have to accept certain inevitable changes.
Many RGB colours will be changed to rather muddy and messy CMYK colours, as you can see in the Color palette when selecting CMYK.
And many bright colours will become less so.

How are you trying to "export to Mypics"? The only way to get a Raw out of iPhoto is to export with the Kind set to Original.

I have being study about OpenGL ES for iOS.
I wonder that data of YUV format is can display without converting RGB.
In most, the yuv data have to convert RGB for display. But, converting process is very slow, Then, that is not display smoothly.
So, I would like to try to dispaly YUV data without convert to RGB.

I think you have at least two choices:
1 - Replace the colons with ', ' (comma and space) - sort of reasonable on screen and in an export
2 - Create a second page that has the same report but uses the "export: csv" template. Create a manual link to this page to replace the standard Export link. When such report pages are requested, they download immediately instead of displaying. You can, therefore, use commas in this one and <br> tags in the on-screen report version

Does any one know how to convert the media format in JMF?
Is there any APIs or Demo about how to convert mp3,avi to the uncompressed wav format?
In windows platform, we can use DirectShow APIs. It's a component of the DirectX SDK. DirectX can help us to decompress the video or audio from compressed format to uncompressed format
(RGB for video, PCM for audio) and it supports streaming also.
Is there any familar APIs in JMF or Opensource for Mac?

Hi,
You can set the codec chain in the Processor (during configured Stage) object which allow you to define your desired Codec, Multiplexer, etc.
For more information, you can look at the JMF API Guide. Since I know that JMF doesn't come with mp3 codec, I think you have to download a codec pack called "ffmpeg" etc which add more Codec to JMF.
About the Mac, I am sorry that I really don't know.

Convert RGB to hex!! (Help!)

Hello programmers,
i've have a problem... i get the rgb values of a color easily by getRGB() or getRed(),.... but do not know how to convert them (Example 255,255,255)to #rrggbb value (hexadecimal value)(like in photoshop)... can anyone help me in finding a function to do it or give me an algorithm to produce hex values out of digits (the rgb values)

Convert RGB black to CMYK black

I have a complex black-ink line drawing in large precentages of C, M, Y, & K. I'd like to somehow SELECT ALL PIXELS and zero out all but 100% K.
I cannot figure out how to select all (nonbackground) pixels (no, Select>All does not accomplish) and then make them all 100%K, can you help?

Yes, I need to end up CMYK. As you can see by my sample Photoshop converts RGB to crazy-high CMYK percentages. All I want these lines and text to be is 100% K.

Elements can't convert RGB to CMYK. You'd need the full Photoshop.
Otherwise you can google 'RGB to CMYK' conversion to find online or software tools that can do that.
The real question is why do you need CMYK. If it's a request from a printer shop, it's their job and responsibility to do the conversion, since such a conversion can only be properly done when you know the specificity of your printing tools, inks and papers.

How to convert sRGB images to CMYK retaining icc profiles?

I was given the follwoing info. but not sure it answers fully - it still doesn't resolve the problem of converting to CMYK with the icc profile. I think this might be an option if the profile is loaded into the colour setting (colour settings under edit menu as oposed to convert to profile and its convert to profile I have been trying to action. Am I missing something straightforward?

-To batch convert a folder of images, just select 'File > Automate > Batch' and the following window opens.
-Choose the 'Convert RGB to CMYK' action from the drop-down list, choose the source folder where your images are stored, then choose a destination folder where Photoshop will save the converted images.
-Click the 'OK' button and the batch process will start. How fast will depend on the number of images that need converting.
-The action you created will be stored, so you only need to perform a new batch process the next time you need to convert a batch of images.

I think we may need a little more information to fully address your question or issue. sRGB and CMYK are two very different color spaces, and converting from one to the other requires significant shifts in color. Are you refering to a specific input or output icc profile?

Having troubles converting RGB to CMYK

I having massive issues with converting my business logo form RGB to CMYK. I need to place this logo on my business card ready for printing. I created the logo in RGB format to start of with, but it keeps coming out darker and abit grayscaled
once the conversation is set. Can anyone help me out with this issue, and if so, can you also provide the steps in how to resolve this issue for future references. Im using Adobe Photoshop CS5 for this execise. I can also provide the actual image attached below as the second image,.

These bright pink and purple colours are obviously way out of gamut so they convert badly to CMYK. Exactly how they convert depends on what colour profile you are using
It will probably be best to either rework the design using mixtures of cyan and magenta only or else use mixtures of Pantone colours.
The Pantone solution will only work for offset printing but is no use for a home printer.
Read up on colour management like Mylenium says and learn to think in terms of inks rather than screen colours.

If you create an RGB>CMYK action in Photoshop you can easily pick images in Bridge and call up a Batch operation from within Bridge...but it's Photoshop doing the work cause Bridge ain't an image processor (as others have said).

Script to convert RGB values to CMYK values

I want a script that can help me convert RGB value to CMYK values.

but is there a script that i can actually define lets say the colour is yellow and in RGB it looks ok because its in RGB mode so you change it to CMYK and you have 6% - 9% cyan and you only want yellow
is there a script out there that i can say
if
cyan = 6%
yellow = 80%
magenta = 0%
black = 0%
then change to
cyan = 0%
yellow = 80&
mangenta = 0%
black = 0%
I don't mind writting the code for each colour that needs to be converted as it would only need defining once but how would i make this script?

I've got a bit further with applescript as i've used it a little but i've got an error this is my code so far:

The error i'm getting is "can't get color"
the color is there however i believe i must not be using the correct variable any clues?

You should find another extranal system id in order to mantain uniqueness, but you could also use the name field (that supports 50 characters), but it deppends of which entity you are using.
Which is the entity? and...if the only way to insert data is by web services the you could use more than one field to verify uniqueness since you can query more than one field at the time.
