How to copy a picture to the clipboard.

Hallo,
I'm writing a program that allows the user to take data measurements and display them in a window. The output of this window is easy to put on the clipboard for the user to select the image and rigth-click and select "copy data".
For scaling reasons however I want to let the user be able to put the picture in a larger/smaller size on the clipboard and preverbly without the mouse button functions since allowing pop-up items allows the user to change all kind of data on the front panel (for instance: emptying an array).
In short: Is it possible to put a picture programatically on the clipboard without even displaying this picture on the front panel, just like saving a picture to a file.
Thanx
in advance for answers,
Marcel kalf.

Download "CopytoClipboard" at:

It can capture a rectangular area on the screen, and save it as
a bitmap onto clipboard.

  • Copying a slide to the clipboard?

I want to copy a Captivate slide to the clipboard so I can
edit it in a graphics program. The documentation first says:
Adobe Captivate provides an easy way to copy a slide to the
    clipboard. Then the instructions say:
To copy a slide to the clipboard:
    1. Open an Adobe Captivate project in Edit view.
    2. Select an image on the slide that you want to copy as a
    bitmap.
    3. Select Edit > Copy to Clipboard as Bitmap.
    4. .....
How do I copy the entire slide to the clipboard as a bitmap
in order to edit it, and not just an image on the slide?
    Thanks.

    Hi there
Yep, you sure can! Insert a Highlight Box object. Configure 0
for the frame width and 0% transparency. Here's where it gets cool.
Click the color chooser, then the eyedropper and lift the color
from the field. (Sometimes these are an odd color, so this helps)
Now size and position the Highlight Box to cover the
information you wish to hide. Once that is done, copy this to the
clipboard. Here's where it gets even cooler! Choose all the
remaining slides where you want to hide the info and paste. Whoosh!
The Highlight Box is pasted in the EXACT location on each slide.
    (no futzing with placement!)
Now all you have to do is visit each slide, right-click the
Highlight Box and choose Merge into Background.
This should accomplish what you are doing with editing in a
    different application.
    Cheers... Rick

How do I remove pictures in the photo library on my iphone 5?  I need the space to download iOS 7.0.2. I have a MacBook Air and have transferred  pictures from my iphone to iphoto.

Photos in the ?Camera Roll can be deleted by tapping on Select, then selecting the photos to be deleted and finally tapping on Trash.
Photos in albums that were copied to the device by syncing with your computer running iTunes are deleted by syncing again. But before clicking on Apply or Sync deselect the no long wanted albums in iTunes. Finally click on Apply.

  • Can anyone help me figure out how to copy .jpg (pictures) from my PC to my IPAD2?

Can anyone help me figure out how to copy .jpg (pictures) from my PC to my IPAD2?

Create a folder on you PC and copy the pictures you want on the iPad into that folder. Then start iTunes and plug in your iPad. In the column on the left (about half way down) click on the name of your iPad.   Then click on the photos tab near the top and to the right of the screen.  Check the box that says Sync photos and then select the folder you put your pictures in from the drop down menu on the screen. Then click Apply down at the bottom right hand side of the screen. Hope that helps!

  • HELP - how do you save pictures through the recovery mode?

How do you save pictures through the recovery mode.  I have the black screen with cursor and despite trying all the tips noted here nothing seems to fix the issue.  These have included using Utility disk to re-install OS-X, repairing the disks.  Also tried the holding shift on start up and entering username and password.  Also tried internet recovery and then repair and re-install.  Nothing works!
Happy to restore from a back up, but I have been rubbish and not backed up for a long time.  Also happy to delete and re-install completely but don't want to loose pics.
Please let me know any suggestions!!

That requires that you can boot the MBP.
Or to boot the mac using the time machine back up?
You can try using startup manager:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1310
But you still need a working volume where you can install the backed up data.
The good news is that since you have a Time machine backup, you can transfer that data to another Mac or clone:

  • How would i put pictures on the songs??

How would i put pictures on the songs??

    Album artwork?
In iTunes, on the bottom left is a box with an arrow up (if it's an arrow down, don't click), click on that and the icon will change with a box and an arrow down.
Find the file on Safari/FireFox/IE/whatever internet browser you use, and click and hold the picture. Now drag it to the iTunes window, and release on the empty box in the low left pane. (You can also copy/paste the image from the internet, and onto the song.
For multiple songs, select the songs you want to modify, right click (apple click for Mac), and select "Get Info". Copy and paste the image into the Album artwork box, and make the sure the tick box is checked. Apply (and select ok to the message that appears, warning you of changing multiple songs). Let it process and in less than a minute, you'll have album art.

is there a way to setup a button or something that via javascript or some other way allow us to copy that image to the clipboard?

    Hi,
to copy an image to the clipboard you can use the snapshopt tool from Acrobats or Readers Edit menu.
There is no other way I'm afraid.

  • We need how to copy macro logic in the system

    Hi Experts,
we need how to copy macro logic in the system, we have some macros in my friend system,  i need how to copy macro logic , can u send me elaborate.
    Regards,
    BABU

I'm a bit uncomfortable with you've wanted to do especially you and your friend has a different system (unless its a sister company/industry). If this would be the case you can copy your friend's macro with the help of your basis team to transport them in one system to another.
if the case is different organization, I'm not sure if that is possible since no industry have same requirements but i may suggest the links below for your reference on how to copy the Macro into external system. Hope the document is relevant to your issue.

The WebCam pod can pause a live video showing a static image. However, I believe that you are looking to use a Share pod, where you can upload a JPG or PNG image. Just place the share pod with the image where you would have the Camera pod.

  • How do I download pictures from the computer to the ipad

how do I download pictures from the computer to the ipad?
I want to temporarily put pictures that I took from another camera that's on my desktop into my IPAD so I can carry it to another location and show off my pictures to friends and family?

Connect and select your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
If you want more control over your photos (e.g. being able to sort them directly on the iPad and delete synced photos) then there are third-party photo apps such as Photo Manager Pro.

  • How do I transfer pictures from the trophy to the Iphone 4 ?

How do I transfer pictures from the trophy to the Iphone 4 ?

There are a couple ways to transfer photos from an Alias 2 to an iPhone. If your photos are saved to the phone's SD card, you can use an adapter to put the media card in your computer port and transfer the photos to your computer. Or you can connect the Alias to your computer via cable; however, the Alias uses a proprietary port, so you have to have a cable made for the phone.
Once the photos are saved on your computer, open iTunes, connect the iPhone and sync the photos you want. If you go to Help in iTunes, there's a tutorial on moving photos to the iPhone.
If you want to transfer photos from a computer to an Alias, you can do it using one of the two methods in the first paragraph -- either via SD card or Samsung cable.

  • How do I load a picture from the clipboard (either Windows clipboard or Labview clipboard) into image data that can then be processed in Labview?

I want to load a picture from the Windows clipboard (and if not possible, then from the Labview clipboard) into actual numerical image data so that it can be processed in lab view. When I'm at the main screen where I can add controls, I see a section of controls called "Vision" in the tool bar where all the different controls can can be added from. When I go to the control called "Image" and put that on my form, and then look at the flowchart/blockdiagram programing window to see what inputs and outputs it has, I only see one output, and no inputs. And when I right click on it, I see NO way to load an image into the Image control. PLEASE help me.
Message Edited by Ben321 on 11-09-2008 04:32 PM

    Hi Ben,
National Instruments has an image processing software called Vision and although I am not completely sure, I think the controls that you found in the control pallet are used in conjunction with the software. Depending on what kind of image processing you want to conduct in LabVIEW, you might want to consider purchasing that product.
If cost is an issue, there are functions in LabVIEW which allows you to take in image files and process them. However, please keep in mind that the capabilities are limited.
Images should be loaded onto LabVIEW not via the clipboard but through loading it from folders or directories. (There might be a way to and so if you find a way please let me know! I would like to know myself =D) If you open the function pallet by right clicking on the block diagram, in the programming folder you should find a directory called "Graphic and Sound". There, you'll find functions in which allows you to process images.
In the "Graphic Type" directory there should be a function called Read JPEG file.vi. There are also others which allows you to read png and bmp files. Please note that there are functions which write as well. Set a file path on the block diagram and inside the "Grahic and Sound" there is a "Picture Function" directory and inside there, there should be a function called "Draw Flattened Pixmap.vi" That changes the image into a format where you can process on LabVIEW. Inside the "Picture Function" directory there are several functions which allows you to process the specified image. Play around with it and see how it goes. And don't forget to Write the file in the end to save any changes.
    I hope this helps
