How to cp a structure to a single directory?

I want to copy the contents of a large directory structure to a single directory. I'm trying to use the "cp -r" command, but it copies the directory structure to the target directory.
Is there a way to do this in a single command:
cp /pictures/wedding/wed01.jpg /mypictures/
cp /pictures/wedding/wed02.jpg /mypicutres/
cp /pictures/party/party01.jpg /mypictures/
cp /pictures/morning/morning01.jpg /mypictures/
I actually want to copy *all* the jpg files in each different subdirectory to a single target directory.
Any suggestions?

Hi whol.
Use the 'find' command with backticks to create a list:
cp `find /source-dir -name "pattern"` /target-dir
For example, to copy all the .jpg files under the pictures directory to the mypictures directory:
cp `find /pictures -name "*.jpg"` /mypictures

I understood your question,
means you want create 2 hierarchies in Entity dimension right,
that means see i do give with example ok
Nav: Open window client--> Manage metadata-->open the Metadata file that u have saved with open button--> go to Entity Dimension
Now u have created one hierarchy,
Entity Dimension
Geographical Entities (First Hierarchy)
India
AP
TN
MP
USA
Newyork
Texas
Legal Entities (Second Hierarchy)
AP
MP
Newyork
Under Geographical Entities u created few entities and then u can create sibling to geographical entity member , as Legal entities, as another member.
Then you select the Members list at right side pane of window and then it will show all the members of entity dimension (including Parent and children), then choose the what are the legal entities and then select the each member and drag each member with mouse cursor, to Legal entities member in entity dimension.
If you do like for all the entities
the system will not show that same name entity members message.

You can create any number of variables for an infoobject but you can use only any one in a query.
Your requirement can be achieved as below.
Create a selection variable of type 'Multiple Single Values' on 0Calday.
Drag 0CALDAY to the column in the query designer. Drag you key figure below 0CALDAY. It will be placed in a new structure.

How to set Compatibility Mode for a single site in ie10

I am having problem with getting ie10 to set ie9 compatibility for a single site (sharepoint.contoso.com).
When I add this website in Compatibility View Settings (Alt > Tools > Compatibility View Settings > 'Add this Website') it adds the domain 'contoso.com' and not the individual website (sharepoint.contoso.com).
This cause other sites (www.contoso.com) to be configured to use compatibility mode. Because this is a separate site (different web server) to the site sharepoint.contoso.com (sharepoint 2010 server) we need different compatibility settings.
Using a different example to explain the issue -
Microsoft has three websites that are different websites created by different developers written in different programming languages and they only work with certain browsers.
microsoft.com (Website1 created by Developer1) - compatible with ie8/ie9/ie10
msdn.microsoft.com (Website2 created by Developer2) - compatible with ie8/ie9
technet.microsoft.com (Website3 website created by Developer3) - compatible only with ie10
The only thing the three website share is the URL contains 'microsoft.com'.
Marking 'msdn.microsoft.com' to run in compatibility mode affects the other 2 websites - mainly technet.microsoft.com which will not work now since it only runs in pure ie10 mode.
Should you be able to add an individual site to the compatibility list instead of all sites that have .microsoft.com in the URL? Am I missing a simple setting in the ie10?
As a workaround I am using the F12 Developer Tools to set the Browser Mode which temporary sets the compatibility mode. However this is not a nice solution to the end users at our organisation.

Oh! I wrote it wrong: I should have said: This is not solved for NON-AD environments. No demands what so ever to use Window 7/8 professional in a small corporation or on a big corporation with Island of smaller departments for example offshore.
The problem is that the thread is not "Answered" by the OP, its is marked answered by a moderator (and same moderator that did the answer) so no way of telling if the OP is satisfied.
But you are right in the fact that I am almost kidnapping the thread. But a complete answer would benefit all in this case I would presume.

In the Backend Implementation class, in any method you can call multiple RFCs.
It will be the same way as you do for the single RFC call.
Following syntax is for your reference.
Get the JCO connection
JCoConnection connection = getDefaultJCoConnection();
JCO.Function func = connection.getJCoFunction("ZXXXXXXX");
set the import parameters
Execute it.
connection.execute(func);
get the data from export / table parameters
Now call the second RFC
func = connection.getJCoFunction("ZYYYYYYYYYY");
set the import parameters
Execute it.
get the data from export / table parameters
close the connection

"Hidden" variables are only hidden in HTML. The HTTP that gets POSTed to the web server doesn't distinguish between hidden and not hidden. That is, the content you would write to the HttpURLConnection.getOutputStream() would be something like:
hidden=1&submit=ok(Of course, the variable names would depend on what the web server was expecting from the form.)
Also, be sure to set the Content-Type request parameter to "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"

Remember that this can not be undone, unless you have a backup.

How to bring all columns in a single/first page in report painter

Hi Experts,
There are 9 columns in a report painter which includes 1 lead column.
7 columns comes in a first page including lead column and rest 2 columns goes to second page. This report is copied from another report where all columns comes in a first page only. if the original report comes in one page then why not the new report.
Please suggest how to bring all columns in a single/first page in the new report.

Thanx for the quick reply. When I change the column width to 10 it comes in one page. But the requirement is to keep the column width to at least 12 or 14 and moreever the original report from where this report is copied having the same no of columns and the column width for original report is 14 and it comes in one page only.
Do I need to do something more to achieve this. My question is how the original reports data comes in one page where as the current report having issue with same number of columns.
Pls suggest.

How to populate Tree structure from BAPI while tree grows or shrinks

Currently I am populating the tree structure from BAPI based on the HLevel (Hierarchy Level) parameter, but when ever insertion and deletion happens in the tree at any level in the UI and at the same time i am updating these tree node values with HLevel value(example : 1 is first level , 2 is second level, 3 is third level etc) updating successfully& correctly into the BAPI, no issues.
Once it is updated into the BAPI, next time when i refreshed the UI then i am not populating the tree structure correctly from BAPI with updated new nodes based on the HLevel. when tree struture grows or shrinks in the BAPI after updating into BAPI from UI then i am not populating the tree sturcture correctly based on the HLevel value from the BAPI.
Please let me know any sample code how to populate tree structure correctly when tree structure grows or shrinks based on the HLevel value ( Hierarchy Level , for example : 1 is level , 2 is 2nd level , 3 is third level nodes etc)
anybody helps in this regard with sample code on the populating tree tructure then it would be great help to me.
