  • How to create a conditional report variable, which displays the conditional

    Hi Experts,
    Could you please guide me how to build a conditional report variable
    For ex:
    I have the data for ATM and POS in the table. I will only get the data of ATMS because of the filters, I still want to display the POS in the report and the values for the POS will be 0.
    Actual Output:
    Description    Vaule
    ATM                100
    Desired Output
    Description    Vaule
    POS                 0
    ATM                100
    Thanks in advance...
    Regards,
    Sadiq.

    Hi Gaurav,
    I have a table which has columns and data as follows
    Year               Description          Trans.Amount                Trans.Count
    2009               ATM                     1000                               50
    2010               ATM                     5000                               200
    2010               POS                     1500                               100
    If I build a report and fetch the data for year 2010, report will display ATM and POS transaction amount and count.
    Whereas, for 2009 there are no POS transaction, report will display only ATM transactions.  But user needs the POS also to be displayed in the report with 0's for trans.amount and Trans.count.
    Could you please guide me how to achieve this, if it is possible
    Regards,
    Sadiq.

  • How to force a Custom Layout in the links sent by e-mail ?

    Hi everyone,
    For customizing the final user´s view for Discussion Groups,
    I created a custom Layout Set "myDiscussionGroupsContributor"
    that references a custom Collection List Renderer
    "myDiscussionGroupWithoutTopicsContributorCollectionListRenderer"
    that references a custom Command "my_join_discussion_thread_contributor"
    that has a custom Layout Set assigned "mySingleDiscExplorerContributor".
    When accessing the discussions via the final users it works fine
    (I´ve already corrected the "Back" link problem acording thread
    problem with discussion group contributor iview)
    The problem is that when I send a discussion via e-mail
    to another user using the "send to" command,
    the received link opens the discussion using the default
    "DiscussionGroupsContributor", in fact, the e-mail´s HTML code
    contains the property "rndLayoutSet=SingleDiscExplorerContributor"
    as noted in the following href element:
    href="http://myportal:50000/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/
    com.sap.km.cm.navigation/discussiongroups/
    80b935d9-90a8-2810-17a6-c88c15fd350b/
    324e1175-98a8-2810-16a2-ee1c1f9c54bc.dsc?
    StartUri=/discussiongroups/80b935d9-90a8-2810-17a6-c88c15fd350b/
    324e1175-98a8-2810-16a2-ee1c1f9c54bc.dsc&
    rndLayoutSet=SingleDiscExplorerContributor&scHeight=300&
    scWidth=220&scPostListWidth=500" target=_blank
    The same happens with the link in the subscriptions list.
    Does anybody know how to set the layout in these links ?

    Hi all,
    I solved the problem, so here I post the steps for the solution I found.
    1) Modify the Object Type Definitions:
    In the CM Repository there is a folder root > etc > oth.
    There you have to change the LayoutSet settings in the following files
    (I don´t know if it is necessary to modify all of them):
         - discussion_post.oth
         - discussion_topic.oth
         - discussion.oth
         - discussiongroups_items.oth
         - discussionPostType.oth
         - discussionType.oth
         - dscGroupsCollType.oth
         - dscGroupsItemsType.oth
    2) Then you have to reload de OTH settings:
    In the Content Management configuration (System Administration >
    System Configuration > Content Management)

  • Search result category with a custom layout set?

    Greetings,
    I've created a nice little search IVIEW with a custom search options set that will display the document category (taxonomy) in the search result (if the resulting document is categorized, of course.)  Works great.  However there is one little problem.  The categories in the search results are hyperlinked and when you select one, you get a new window with the taxonomy rendered in the default layout set (the ConsumerExplorer I think.)  Not good.  I need this displayed in a custom layout set.
    Any ideas how to make this hyperlink use a custom layout set without changing the default?
    Regards,
    Paul Federighi

    Hi Paul,
    As per my knowledge of the basic s of layout sets and iviews.
    You want to change the layout set of the iview(window) which opens when u click the hyperlink.
    You should do this:
    1)Make a new layout set by customizing the default one.
    2)If the iview opening is a standard iview then go to its properties and change the Layout set value to ur new layout.
    Please revert in case of issues.
    I hope it helps.
    Regards,
    Sumit

  • Custom Layout Set

    Hi people.
    I am trying to create new, custom layout set, by copying existing sets and adding / removing features.
    My target is to create a layout set similar to ConsumerExplorer, but with a small addition - "Search" option.
    I have tried to play with the Admin breadcrumb, and also tried to add "Search from here" command through UI Commands, but unsuccessful.
    Could anyone please tell me how I can add the "Search" option to ConsumerExplorer without showing the whole admin toolbar?
    Points will be awarded, of course.

    Hi,
    The standard ConsumerExplorer layout set contains the Search from here command as part of the hover menu of the root element. Can you explain what exactly do you need?

  • How to do changes in Layouts setting and SAP scripts to meet requirment?

    hi SD gurus,
    Please explain me how create and work with Z output .
    where and how we do changes in Layouts setting and SAP scripts to meet the user requirments.
    pls forward func spec of Z output
    points will be rewarded
    thanx & regards

    you need ABAP skills to do this.
    basically you need:
    1) draw the layout on a piece of paper
    2) define the fields you need and find out the corresponding SAP fields
    3) check the document with the customer
    4) give this specification to the developer
    5) the developer will give you a program name and form name: place them in the message for the document.

  • How to create a Custom List without the column "Title" ?

    Maybe this one is easy as it sounds, I just want to know how to create a little list for my SharePoint application featuring 3 columns:
    1 - User Name (this should be Person type - UNIQUE + Required)
    2 - Report (Memo - Required)
    3 - Status (Choice + Required)
    The list will be used to allow the users to submit a weekly report and I don't want to include the title because there is no use to me, I know I can hide the column by customizing the list but this sounds very amateur even for a newbie like me (yeah... sounds
    so cheap!), since I've been reading a lot about custom content types and I still didn't get the chance to use this properly I was wondering how I could put them to use and I guess the example here would be the best right?
    I really spent some time trying but I always end getting the Title even when I try to use custom content types so I'm really giving up and asking for some help at this point.
    Thanks a lot for the help!!!

    Yes, you can do that. If you need a different content type with your custom fields. Following are the steps : http://www.dotnetcurry.com/ShowArticle.aspx?ID=620
    After creating your custom Content Type, Click on the 'Title' filed in your custom content type.
    In the 'Column Settings' make it 'Hidden (Will not appear in forms)' and click ok.
    Now add this content type to your list/library.
    In the list/Library go to setting and 'Advance settings' and make the 'Allow management of Content Type?' as 'yes' and click ok.
    Now make default content type not visible from 'Change new button order and default content type' link in the settings page of list/library, and your contet type as 'Default'.
    Create a new view, remove the 'Title' field and make that view as 'dafault' view, you can delete the 'All Items' view also if required.
    Now whenever user come to that list/Library they will not see the title column and also will not appear in the 'New Item'.
    Note : The 'Title' field is mandatory in all the list/library and by default added to the 'All Item' view. So, by doing above steps you are creating a new content type where 'Title' is not mandatory and also not added in default view.

  • How to create a custom tag for a custom converter

    In Jdeveloper 11g, I have a project where I have created a custom converter class that impements the javax.faces.convert.Converter class. I have registered the converter with an id in the faces-config.xml file of the project, and the converter works fine by using the <f:converter type="myconverter"> tag. However, the custom converter has a field which I would like to set from the tag itself. Hence, I would like to add an attribute to <f:converter> tag if possible or create a custom tag that has the attribute.
    I have done some reserach and I found that a custom tag can be implemented: I need to create a class which extends from the ConverterTag class or javax.faces.webapp.ConverterElTag class, which I did, but I also need to create ".tld" (tag library) file which defines the tag itself.
    The part about creating the ".tld" file and registring the new tag is what I'm not sure how to do.
    Does someone know how to do this?
    thank you

    Hi frank,
    that's a good document, and it explains how to make a custom converter. I already created the custom converter, it converts a number to any currency pattern. I know java already has a currency converter, but it doesn't support Rupee currency format, and I need that format.
    My converter works, but I would like to pass the pattern of the format through an attribute in a tag. Since f:converter doesn't seem to support that, I created a custom tag which uses my converter, and it enables me to pass a pattern to the converter.
    All of that works, but I need to be able to pass the pattern as an EL expression, and it's not evaluating the expression before passing it to the converter. It just passes the whole expression as a string. I'm thinking It may be something I'm doing wrong.
    this is the tag library definition file:
    <!DOCTYPE taglib

  • How to change a folder layout set using KM api?

    Hello,
    I'm developing a program using KM api that creates different folders with properties, permissions, ... I want to use a different layout set depending on the folder that i am browsing, but these folders are created dinamically, so I cant set a different layouts set for each one manually (Details > Display > ...).
    Does anybody know how I could do it using KM api? I mean, that every time I create a folder using KM api I should assaing dinamically the default layout set for this folder. I searched in the api and examples and I didn't find anything.
    Thanks in advance and best regards,
    JC

    Hi all,
    Problem solved... I decompiled standard code and I did what SAP do when they want to change a folder layout set:
    IResourceContext context = ResourceFactory.getInstance().getServiceContext("cmadmin_service");
    com.sapportals.portal.security.usermanagement.IUser puser = context.getUser();
    ICollection collection = (ICollection)ResourceFactory.getInstance().getResource(RID.getRID("folder_path"),context);
    IRepositoryServiceFactory factory = ResourceFactory.getInstance().getServiceFactory();
    ILayoutService layoutService = (ILayoutService)factory.getRepositoryService(collection, "LayoutRepositoryService");
    ILayoutContext userContext = layoutService.getContextForUser(puser, "");
    ContextProperties commonProperties = new ContextProperties(layoutService, collection, userContext.getAnonymousContext(), layoutService.getProfiles(), new HashMap());
    commonProperties.initFromPersistence();
    commonProperties.setSelectedProfileID("LayoutSetProfile");
    commonProperties.setSelectedLayoutsetID("ID_of_my_layout_set");
    ArrayList errormsg = new ArrayList();
    commonProperties.save(null, errormsg, false);
    Thanks and regards,
    jc!

  • KM Folders options setting (Custom Layout Set) ???

    Hi All,
             We are working on EP 7.0 (NW04s SP10).
    We have a KM repository. (As a File system).
    It has some default options as:
    Content Management > KM content > Documents > right click & go to details.
    And we will get the default options as View Actions Collaboration Settings & few more sub-options under that.
    <b>Now My Question is: How to disable some of these options?</b>
    Do we have to create separate Custom layout?
    (e.g:- I would like to disable the option of <b>Send To</b>)
    Regards
    Sunil Kulkarni

    Hi,
    The Details screen's menu contains several command groups. You just have to remove the command from the appropriate command group.
    It is better if you create your own layoutset for that.

  • Help - Creating a Custom Layout

    Hy, I'm creating a Grphical Programming Language,
    where user draw flowcharts by linking buttons.
    My problem is:
    After adding some buttons on the panel,
    the scrollBars does not appear.
    (I have set layout to be NULL so that I can add the buttons
    at specific position on the pane).
    I think I need to create a custom layout, but with a layout,
    after adding buttons on the panel and position them to specific
    location, when I maximize/restore the window, the buttons return
    to their initial position.
    Can anyone please send me the code for creating a custom layout (imagine
    that you are drawing a flowchart by adding buttons).
    NOTE: The buttons should stay at their position while maximizing/restoring
    the window.
    thanks in advance

    Hi,
    I'm currently working in a project that for what I understood is quite similar to yours...
    The way I solved the problem, was creating a virtual-grid. When the user adds the button, I have to methods (getRow() and getColumn())
    that convert the mouse coordinates to row and grid numbers. Then knowing the row and the column, I multiply this values for the row
    width and column height, and have the X and Y position where to add the button in the JPanel.
    Here is some of the code:
    public int getColumn(int x)//mouse coordinate x
            column=(int)(x/COL_WIDTH+1);
            if(maxColumn<column)
                maxColumn=column;
            return column;
        public int getRow(int y)//mouse coordinate y
            row=(int)(y/COL_HEIGHT+1);
            if(maxRow<row)
                maxRow=row;
            return row;
        }And then I add the component,
    jPanelContainer.add(component,
                        new org.netbeans.lib.awtextra.AbsoluteConstraints((col-1)*COL_WIDTH, (row-1)*COL_HEIGHT, -1, -1));This is only an ideia. Since I have a lot of constraints with the blocks that I have to add, I first add the components to an array[][],
    treat all the things in this array (like user deleted component, moves rows and columns, user added component, user moved component, etc...)
    and then "send it to the sreen"...
    Maybe I was a little bit confusing...
    Hope it helps!
    Regards,
    ANeto
