How to create a destination URI in result query

Hello All,
I have a requirement where on home page when user search for a particular criteria then result should have a link to show the details for that particular item. In result region there are two types of Items Internal and External. Now, this result region is showing details from the master table. Now, I need to add a link on this Item number in a way that when ever user clicks on that link related information of that item should dispaly. For Internal and External we have seprate tables for details. So, I need a dynamic link which can show the details accordingly.
Kindly help on this.
Thanks,
Sandy

Sandy ,
You can approach this way ,
Create an additional item in the table region as "link" , give the destination property for it , get the unique row of
the column ( primary key column of the view object ) .
Your value of the destination property should be like eg : OA.jsp?page=/<yourname>/oracle/apps/ak/employee/webui/EmpDetailsPG&employeeNumber={@EmployeeId}&employeeName={@EmployeeName}&retainAM=Y&addBreadCrumb=Y
Please refer drill down to details exercise in Jdevdoc , you will understand better .
Let me know if its not clear .

  • How To create Dynamic destination in blazeDS

    Hi,
    Can anyone tell me how to create dynamic destinations ?
    thnks

    hi,
    Basically you could read the destination and Endpoint from an xmlfile then feed the values as required, the following is a simple hardcoded setup but it doesn't take much to set vars in the creationcomplete event. At least this way you don't need baked in settings.
    <fx:Declarations>
    <s:Producer id="myProducer" destination="{myService}" acknowledge="myProducer_acknowledgeHandler(event)"/>
    <s:Consumer id="myConsumer" destination="{myService}" message="messageHandler(event)"/>
    </fx:Declarations>
    private var channelSet:ChannelSet;
    private var myService:String;
    protected function application1_creationCompleteHandler(event:FlexEvent):void
    channelSet = new ChannelSet();
    myService = "chat";
    //var channel:AMFChannel = new AMFChannel("my-polling-amf","http://localhost:8080/blazeds/messagebroker/amfpolling");
    var channel:AMFChannel = new AMFChannel("my-polling-amf","http://ezflex.net:8080/blazeds/messagebroker/amfpolling");
    channelSet.addChannel(channel);
    myProducer.channelSet=channelSet;
    myConsumer.channelSet=channelSet;

  • How to create Store Procedure for export result select in .txt or .csv

    Hello,
    I'm using MSSQL Server.
    How to export results query  in .txt or .csv?
    But
    I can not use bcp or SQLCMD.

    1) linked server
    insert into txtsrv...table1#txt(CustomerNumber,CustomerName,EntryDate)
    select orderid, shipname, orderdate
    from Northwind..orders
    Set up the linked server
    Connecting a directory of text files as a linked server is easy.  Here’s how:
    In Windows, create a new directory for the linked server.
    For this article, that directory will be E:\txtsvr.
    Add that directory as a linked server with sp_addlinkedserver:
    EXEC sp_addlinkedserver txtsrv, 'Jet 4.0',
      'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0', 'e:\txtsrv', NULL, 'Text'
    That’s all that’s required to add the linked server txtsrv
     as a connection to the text files in E:\txtsvr, but there are
     no tables in txtsvr yet.  Also missing is a required file, schema.ini,
    which must contain a description of each table’s format.
    You can  learn more about schema.ini from the Microsoft MSDN Library,
     but for now, just use Notepad or your favorite text editor
    to create the file e:\txtsrv\schema.ini as shown in Listing 1.
     In addition, create an empty text file in e:\txtsrv named table1.txt.
    The file e:\txtsrv\table1.txt is now an empty table in the linked server txtsrv.
    We can see that if we list information about all the tables in txtserv with
    the system stored procedure sp_tables_ex:
    EXEC sp_addlinkedsrvlogin txtsrv, FALSE, Admin, NULL
    EXEC sp_tables_ex txtsrv
    Text files are tables
    We can’t issue a CREATE TABLE statement against this linked server,
    but we have created a table easily enough.  We can, however,
    run INSERT and SELECT queries, if we use the four-part naming
    convention <server>…<table> (that’s three dots):

  • How to create RFC Destination without using SM59?

    Hello all:
    We are troubleshooting an issue.   An user created a RFC destination.   He claims that he did not use SM59.   We checked his access and do not have SM59 in his roles.
    He configured VIRSA FireFighter.   During the configuration, he created RFC destination.   Document says use SM59 or contact BASIS Admin.     He claims that he used a config table and he don't remember the config table name.   RFC screen shows his ID as creator of the RFC.
    We are trying to understand how an RFC can be created (outside of SM59) and plug the security hole in the environment.
    Any insights would be appreciated.
    --Anand

    The FireFighter solution changes the RFC destination of the service user "on the fly" without S_TCODE checks for 'SM59'. But if I can remember correctly when looking into this, it does not create the RFC destination (in SM59) "on the fly".
    > He claims that he used a config table and he don't remember the config table name.
    Theoretically this is possible - a config table to define the name of the destination, and then create it if it does not exist yet (when used).
    Otherwise, see SAP note 587410 and restrict (remove) his authority for the test environment (concentrate on S_DEVELOP, not S_TCODE - as you have also experienced).
    Cheers,
    Julius

  • How to change the Destination URI value of a item table at run time

    I'd like to change the Destination URI of item of a table region when a column X of my view is not NULL. Where should I set the new Destination URI value for the item table region for specific row? Is in the RowImpl for the view object or in the Controler of the page?
    I'd really appreciate any suggestion.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the help, but I still dont know where I should to use setAttributeValue(DESTINATION_ATTR,OADataBoundValueViewObject());
    All examples that I saw till now here, suggestes to change something in the page in Controller but based on something entered in the page. In my case is IN to OUT, I will render some item table with a specific value parameter based what is in the database. Being more specific, I have a html table and one column Col1 has a value and it will have a DESTINATION URL if another column Col2 is Null. I believe I would have to check somewhere if the Col2 is null or not and change the DESTINATION URL property.
    Thanks again..

    Hi Justin,
    First of thanks for your reply, and coming to my requirement, I need to report the list of items which are there in the dynamic select statement what am getting from the DB. The select statement number of columns may vary in my example for different countries the select item columns count is different. For US its '15', for UK it may be 10 ...like so, and some of the column value might be a combination or calculation part of other table columns (The select query contains more than one table in the from clause).
    In order to execute the dynamic select statement and return the result i choose to write a function which will parse the cursor for dynamic query and then iterate the values and construct a Type Object and append it to the pipe row.
    Am relatively very new for these sort of things, welcome in case of any suggestions to make it simple (Instead of the function what i thought to work with) also a sample narrating the new procedure will be appreciated.
    Thanks in Advance,
    mallikj2.

  • How to create/use SAP Exit variable of Query designer

    Hello experts,
    Can you please guide me on how to create/use SAP Exit variables ?
    Is there any way we can transport customer exit include in which we write all codes related to customer exit variables?
    Kindly provide your valuable inputs on this.
    Thanks,
    Mitesh

    Hello Gautam,
    I think you should first implement the user-exit via the transaction SMOD/CMOD and the SAP-Enhancement RSR00001 User-Exit ( BW Reporting )
    For the concrete implementation I would suggest to encapsulate the variables, as it is described here
    Easy implementation of BEx-Userexit-Variables

  • How to create authorization role for just displaying query prefix Q and X.

    Hi Expert,
    I hope someone can help me on how to create authorization role for just displaying and executing  BEX  Queries prefix Q and X. I'm currently using SAP BI 7.1.
    Actually, I already created one role called : Z_FORINDO_ONLYDISPLAY_QX
    where I only put in the Authorization Component (in the Role Maintenance - Tcode 'pfcg'):
    -->Manually Business Information Warehouse
        --> Manually Business Explorer - Components
    Activity : Display, Execute, Enter, Include, Assign
    InfoArea : *
    InfoCube : *
    Name(ID) of a reporting component : *
    Type of a reporting component : Calculated key figure, Restricted key figure, Template structure
        --> Manually Business Explorer - Components
    Activity : Display, Execute
    InfoArea : *
    InfoCube : *
    Name(ID) of a reporting component : Q* , X*
    Type of a reporting component : Query
    But, the problem is I still can make changes on that queries (Q* and X*). Even, I still can run query with prefix Z. I use S_RS_RREPU Tamplete for Query Display and execution.
    Please assist. Very much appreciate your help. Thanks.

  • How to create a DB Adapter with select query having inner query

    Hi All,
    I am trying to create a DB Adapter with select query. The query has some inner queries in it. It is just like this select a, b, c, (select d from e) d, (select e from e) e from tablename.
    The problem here is with the xsd generated for this query. Xsd is not getting generated properly for all the fields it is just getting generated till c element and when it encounters
    the inner query it is stopping the generation of xsd. So for the above query the xsd is something similar to the below
    <xs:complexType name="rewOutput">
    <xs:sequence>
    <xs:element name="a" type="xs:string" nillable="true"/>
    <xs:element name="b" type="xs:string" nillable="true"/>
    <xs:element name="c" type="xs:string" nillable="true"/>
    <xs:element name="select_d" type="xs:string" nillable="true"/>
    </xs:sequence>
    </xs:complexType>
    as shown above the xsd is just getting generated till the first inner query. What should be done to get the full fledged xsd. Should it be manually built ?? Please help me on this.
    Thanks In Advance.

    Hi,
    I don't think the parser will be able to understand your query properly... I would try building the xsd manually...

  • How to create RFC Destination Between ECC 6.0 and BI 7.0

    HI,
    My name is balu working in gucons,i was trying to create RFC between ECC 6.0 and BI 7.0,i have tried with the help of some documents but iam unable to do that,Iam very helpfull if you give a clear description regarding this problem.
    Thank you,
    Regards,
    BALU.

    Hi Balu
    the error screen is from your BI system? If yes, then why the source system is showing to be of type BI? For ECC it should be of type r/3.
    You can try to delete already created RFC from both your BI and ECC system and try to create source system connection from your BI end from RSA1>> Source System> right click..Create..
    Choose "Automatically Create SAP system" . Enter the required credential then click on "Replicate as well"
    If you do not want to delete any RFC for any reason please upload entries from RSBASIDOC, RSLOGSYST table.

  • How to create special column which represents result of a query

    Hi all,
    I need your help once more.
    The situation is the following:
    I have a table MESSAGE which has some billion entries. The columns are msg_id, vehicle_id, timestamp, data, etc.
    I have another table VEHICLE which holds static vehicle data (about 20k rows) such as vehicle_id, licenceplate, etc.
    My first target was to partition the table via timestamp (by range) and subpartition by vehicle_id (by hash).
    So I could easily drop old data by dropping old partitions and tablespaces.
    Now comes the new difficult 2nd target: the messages of some vehicles must be kept forever.
    My idea is to add a column KEEP_DATA to the table MESSAGE. I could try to partition by timestamp AND KEEP_DATA, subpartion by vehicle_id.
    The problem of this idea is that i have to update billions of rows.
    It would be perfect if there is a possibility to add this KEEP_DATA-flag to the table vehicle.
    Is there any way to "link" this information to a column in MESSAGE table?
    I mean something like this:
    alter table MESSAGE
    add column (select keep_data from vehicle where VEHICLE.vehicle_id = MESSAGE.vehicle_id as keep_message) ;
    Is there some possibility like that?
    Would the partitioning on this column / statement work?
    Would the value of the keep_message be calculated on runtime?
    If so will the performance influence be noticeable?
    If so will the performance also sink if the application is querying all rows except the keep_message?
    Kind regards,
    Andreas

    What is your DB version?
    The problem of this idea is that i have to update billions of rows. If this is your underlying problem then if you are in 11g and above you can use [url http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14072_01/appdev.112/e10577/d_parallel_ex.htm]DBMS_PARALLEL_EXECUTE and split your update into multiple chunks and execute it parallel.
    I mean something like this:
    alter table MESSAGE
    add column (select keep_data from vehicle where VEHICLE.vehicle_id = MESSAGE.vehicle_id as keep_message) ; As far as i know such a thing is not possible.
