I want to create a user screen like Journal Entry. How could I create an object like "Control Account" in JE?

The "Control Account" column in JE is used ChooseFromList.
You could refer to SDK sample
SDK\Samples\COM UI\VB.NET\17.ChooseFromList.

    I have a scenario as below:
    Suppose I created a Material using MM01 txn only entering data in 2 views i.e Basic data1 and Basic data2.
    Now my workflow triggers. I have done this using 'Create' event of BUS1001006 Object type.
    Now i need to send workitems to all those who are responsible to create rest views  like MRP,Accounting,Work scheduling etc..Workitem will take them to MM01 txn with Material No. and user will select the view which he has authorization and will enter the relevent data and save.For this i have used  'CreateView' method of BOR BUS1001006 but its not working properly.
    I hope you could understand the scenario.If need more clarity then please revert.
    Can anybody tell the solution please.It will be very helpful to me.

    I am passing the object also..but its not helping.
    I think Parameter 'ViewListLine'  of method 'CreateView' is not passing properly.
    Can you please give any solution where to get this parameter value.

  • How to create a MenuButton-like control (skin)?

    Hi,
    I want to create a MenuButton-like control.
    But instead of popping up a ContextMenu, I want my own popup in that place. (I want the user to chose from a set of icons, which are displayed in a TilePane).
    Unfortunately I am stuck with the basic button skin.
    If I derive from MenuButton and override fire(), this method isn't called (unlike if I derive from Button).
    If I derive from Control and set a skin, I don't know, what to do, so that the skin looks like a MenuButton. If I derive the skin from MenuButton, I again don't get the ActionEvent.
    I also copied the style from class "button" from caspian.css and renamed it to my control name. It loads the skin, but e.g. the background-color is not applied.
    Any advise?

    yes sir am trying to instantiate and retrieve the metadata, am a student am asked to do Program Analyzer, while fullfilling the application requirements i came across this situation, like i have to find total number of public methods in any source file that is entered as input.
    Am taking the input in String variable, i can have the details of the source class only of i instantiate and create an Object to that....
    Please suggest me some way to do that... JAVA is so interesting am working on the project since 2 weeks am done with all other classes but struck here finding the total number of methods...

  • How to create an object alive all the time on a server side

    I work on an Intranet with J2EE technologies. I need an object to do several tasks in background on the server side. Like start scheduled processes on a database and files, stocked on the server. What is the way to do this. I thought to use the JNDI by declaring the object in the Deployement Descriptor, and to manage a timer within.
    I don't know if this works.
    Anyway, my question is how to create an object on the server that is ALIVE ALL THE TIME and visible by the other objects running in the same VM.

    This may not be the correct design, but I had success doing the following:
    1. Create an Stateless EJB that does a task, i.e. update a database table.
    2. Create a subclass of java.util.TimerTask to call the EJB methods.
    3. Kick off the TimerTask from a servlet.init method.
    Seems to work pretty well to do scheduled tasks, such as refreshing lookup tables. I would imagine the same could be done with an MBean, but I haven't had time to fully understand JMX yet. (It's on the list).
    As for event driven procedures, that can be done through a servlet interface.
    You may also wish to review a scheduler here: http://www.part.net/quartz.html. Note, I have NOT even looked at it yet, so I have no clue if it's any good. But, it is on my list of tools to evaluate (that's a long list) someday when my head's above water. Have a look, and caveat emptor.

If you need to use a class that's unavailable at compile time, you should create an appropriate interface by which to refer to the class and then you create instances reflectively and access them normally via their interface (which is called reflective instantiation with interface access)

    I think you want to upload data in some master tcode,so for these u need recording for particular tcode.
    So for these u need to select Batch Input Recording option inside very first step of Maintain Object Attributes.
    In that u need to put recording name in which u want to record tcode.

    Hi Nagaraju,
    First you create the required account as cost element through FS00 and select your gl account and edit cost element and give 1 in cost element category.
    Afterwards in OKB9 You create the cost element whether it is required for Bus Area mandatory, profit centre mandatory and Valuation area is mandatory.  Based on your selection you have to assign 1, 2 or 3.  Ex. You have selected for consumption account profit centre is mandatory.  You give 3.  and you have to assign the cost centre against profit centre.  Then automatically your consumption will post to the cost centre.

    KCC does the job of creating connection object automatically reading site/subnet/sitelink info, so why you need to create manually.

    Lock objects are use in SAP to avoid the inconsistancy at the time of data is being insert/change into database.
    SAP Provide three type of Lock objects.
    •     Read Lock(Shared Locked)
    protects read access to an object. The read lock allows other transactions read access but not write access to
    the locked area of the table
    •     Write Lock(exclusive lock)
    protects write access to an object. The write lock allows other transactions neither read nor write access to
    the locked area of the table.
    •     Enhanced write lock (exclusive lock without cumulating)
    works like a write lock except that the enhanced write lock also protects from further accesses from the
    same transaction.

    GO TO SE11
    Select the radio button "Lock object"..
    Give the name starts with EZ or EY..
    Example: EYTEST
    Press Create button..
    Give the short description..
    Example: Lock object for table ZTABLE..
    In the tables tab..Give the table name..
    Example: ZTABLE
    Save and generate..
    Your lock object is now created..You can see the LOCK MODULES..
    In the menu ..GOTO -> LOCK MODULES..There you can see the ENQUEUE and DEQUEUE function
