How to create more Timestamps fileds in EDS data object?
Hi All,
I am trying to create BAM Data Objects fro EDS.I provided details for the DB connections, while saving Data Objects its not allowing the timestamps fields.
is there any workaround to this and please let me know possibilities.

Note:
Only the tables that belong to the user are shown when a data object is created on an EDS.
Creating a data object with multiple time stamp fields on an EDS is not supported.

I assume you want to create multiple instance of your class.
Assuming that you class is NOT a singleton then simply repeat the CREATE OBJECT statement as many times as you need.
TYPES: begin of ty_s_class.
TYPES: instance TYPE REF TO zcl_myclass.
TYPES: end of ty_s_class.
DATA:
lt_itab TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF ty_s_class
WITH DEFAULT KEY,
ls_record TYPE ty_s_class.
DO 10 TIMES.
CLEAR: ls_record-instance.
CREATE OBJECT ls_record-instance.

You need to create optional date prompt variable in BW which fills your requirement .
Ex : If you require report should always run for 1st of the month to last of month .Then create Optional date variable in BW with interval .write customer exit ,
if from date is left blank it should take 1st of the month and if todate is left blank it should take last of the month .
when creating webi schedules , leave prompts as blank. -

This function works in my BPC70NW SP02 system. Your issue might be that you are trying to access a TIME member that does not exist. Please make sure the offset value is a valid dimension member.
I can confirm that EVTIM does allow the offset for base members (such as 2009.MAY) as well as parent nodes (such as 2009.Q1 or 2008.TOTAL)... BUT...the offset result of the EVTIM function needs to be a valid dimension member!

Need Help, how to create more than one rectangle from one button in one stage of canvas

I has problem to create more than one rectangle canvas from one button. here my role to create :
1. I create input size with textfield
2. I click button called "submit query"
3. My web will create a rectangle with specific size.
My problem come when I click again the button, my old rectangle has been remove than my new rectangle has created.
My question is : how I can create more than one without delete/remove the old I was created?

1.How to load locations to FDQM without manual Entry?
Can we load locations by using flat files?
Requirement: I have to create more than 1000 entities in FDM Application for mapping Target in HFM Application.

#1 - The tables you need to add data to are : tPOVPartition, tStructPartitionHierarchy, tStructPartitionLinks. The first table is the basic location information. The last two tables define the relationship hierarchy of where the locations belong. I would expect that if the Strcut information is missing, FDM will not be able to place it anywhere on the locations screen.
Additionally, for the tPOVPartition, there is required information and you need to make sure you are including all of that info when you create your record.
#2 - If you are handy at coding, I'm positive there is an API call to create a location. It would make more sense perhaps to write a script that uses the APIs to create the locations so that you can be sure that it is being done right. -
How to create more than 2000 users/groups in a good way.
Hi, guys.I want to create more than 2000 users/groups with Java API. Now I use a regular method to implement this function, login; create a domain; open a maxlsession ; and then call a maxl statement to create a user or a group . I find that the performance of this way is very bad. Can I write a funcation or a marco, which can create these users/groups? If it works, How do I need to write these codes?I have looked over all Java API document, it seems that ESSBASE API don't provide some related api which enables developer to generate a function or a marco. How to creating more( 16) partitions for raw device
hi,
I am trying to install ORACLE RAC on linux(Red Hat Linux 9 Professional Edition), here i need more partitions than existing (by default hda1 -- hda16 exists bu i need upto hda27) , so i used ' # mknod -m 660 /dev/hda17 b 3 17' to add more partitions . this step is successfully done. after this when i try to use fdisk to create new partition, i could add partitions up to hda16 successfullly, but after that it displays a message " the maximum number of partitions has been created"
how to overcome this and create the rest of partitions. what to do to create more partitions than 16. I need your help . thanks in advance

we can create only one cube with same technical name in one BW system, may be you are talking about $INFOCUBE folder which contains infocubes, if my assumption is correct, if you want to create one more infocube under $INFOCUBE folder, you need to create infocube in BW system with RSA1 Transaction code, under infoarea (new or existing one) -> right click Create Infocube.
