How to Create Sequential Animation?

Question

Hi, I've been trying to play with JavaFX for two days, I was trying to create a sequential animation for different objects. Like I want the first object to change its opacity, and then the 2nd object would scaled to smaller size after the first object finished its animation. Is there anyway around to do this?
I tried something like :
Timeline {
keyFrames: [
KeyFrame { // first keyframe for first object
KeyFrame { // second keyframe for 2nd object
but both keyframes started to play on the same time. Thanks.

I guess you meant both animations started to play at the first time. An animation is in its simplest form based on two keyframes. The first defines the starting point, the second the end point. If you do not specify the first keyframe yourself, one is added by default with the current values at time-position 0s. So if you want the second animation to start later, you have to define its starting keyframe explicitly..
Something like this should work (I did not check, if it's the correct syntax, but it should be close):
keyFrames: [
    at (1s) {value1 => endValue1, value2 => startValue2}
    at (2s) {value2 => endValue2
]
