There is a delete button in every row. May I know how to delete the row that I want by getting the ID from the table and delete it from the database.

Deleting from a table is simple -> delete from tb_funds where id = <value>. Obviously replace <value> with the appropriate ID or use a bind variable (a ?) and prepared statements.
Are you asking how to pass the id associated with the table row from the browser when the button is pressed?

best practices when deleting multiple rows is to do this on the business service, not the view layer for performance reasons. When you selected the rows to delete and press submit, then in a managed bean you access thetable instance (put a reference to a managed bean from the table "binding" property") and call getSeletedRowKeys. In JDeveloper 11g, ADF Faces returns the RowKeySet as a Set of List, where each list conatins the server side row key (e.g. oracle.jbo.Key) if you use ADF BC. Then you create a List (ArrayList) with this keys in it and call a method exposed on the business service (through a method activity in ADF) and pass the list as an argument. On the server side you then access the View Object that holds the data and find the row to delte by the keys in the list

Here problem is that its not able to delete duplicate rows having same timein and timeout.

I just want to delete duplicate rows but also want to retain the last duplicate row.
For eg if one record is found three times ,i want to delete first and second record and retain

To start with, since you do not wish to keep multiple rows with same values, why allow them to get inserted in the first place?
Wouldn't it be easier to block duplicate rows from inserting by creating a Unique constraint on Column(s) that define a row as duplicate, then rather deleting duplicate rows periodically?
For deleting duplicate rows, there are N number of techniques available. Always remember, you need to have a rigid criteria that marks row as duplicate.

To delete duplicates from an individual table you can use a construct like:
DELETE FROM
 table_a del_tab
WHERE
 del_tab.ROWID <> (SELECT
 MAX(dups_tab.ROWID)
 FROM
 table_a dups_tab
 WHERE
 dups_tab.col1 = del_tab.col1
 AND
 dups_tab.col2 = del_tab.col2
 )You can then apply this to any table you want. The only differences will be the columns that you join on in the sub query. If you want to look for duplicated data in the long columns themselves, I'm pretty sure you're going to need to do some PL/SQL coding or maybe convert them to blobs or something.

SQL Server 2014 - Delete duplicate rows in a table except one

I have a table that contains duplicate rows. Using grouping I can easily identify those rows.
As of now, I count the grouped records and copy one of the group in a temporary table together with its count of elements. Than I loop over this table and delete N - 1 rows of each group from the original table. Unfortunately this is done with two cursors
and WHILE loops.
Is anybody out there who could give some hints how to handle deletion of duplicated rows leaving one in place using pure SQL? I tried a full delete of all elements of a group and then an INSERT of one row to recreate a row again. But this is not
very elegant and close to using cursors.

based on input below from Uri, I have developed a little more general solution for removal of duplicates. I did that, because I'm sure that for many beginners in SQL it is easier specialize a proposal by removing parts of it than adding new functionality.

1) Drop the user
2) recreate the user including table scripts from
2a) your version control system
2b) from a export dumpfile using the "nodata" option while importing

How to delete MANY rows of a table

Dear Oracle experts,
I fear this is a very stupid question but I don't know the solution of that problem :
I have a table with about 15 Million lines here. I would likt to delete about 12 M lines by a delete statement.
My Problem is, that this query takes very much time (more than 45 min), because the database writes all deleted lines into the redo-log , I assume.
Is there any way to sorround that mechanism or to increase the speed of the delete
in any way ?
Woukd it help to switch off the archivelog mode and to perform a new backup instantly after deleting the table rows ?
Do you have better recommendations ?

Alternately, you can move the rows you want to keep into a new table, truncate the existing table, and move the data back. This has the advantage that you don't have to re-create all your constraints & indexes so you avoid the risk of accidentally missing something.

How to delete a row from database table in facade client

I followed the tutorial in creating a persistence entity from database table, then a session facade. Then I followed the tutorial to create a sample client to test the model. In the session facade, I could use persistEntity method to insert a record to the database. I am just thinking of an extension to the tutorial, i.e., being able to delete the record too. So I created a new method removeEntity in the session facade
public void removeEntity(Object entity) {
entity=em.merge(entity);
em.remove(entity);
em.flush();
and called it in the sample client. It was executed without any error, but the record in the table still exists.
I tried to look around for a solution, but I did not find one. Would anybody here please help out? Many thanks in advance!

Need to remove duplicate rows from a table

I am using oracle 11.2.0.3 .
SQL> desc osstage.S_EVT_ACT_X;

now when i give the below command it gives the error as someone has disabled the constraint accidently .
alter table s_evt_act_x enable constraint S_EVT_ACT_X_P1;
Error starting at line 3 in command:

SQL Error: ORA-02437: cannot validate (OSSTAGE.S_EVT_ACT_X_P1) - primary key violated

*Cause:    attempted to validate a primary key with duplicate values or null
           values.
*Action:   remove the duplicates and null values before enabling a primary
           key.

How To Delete a Row From a TableView !!!!

Hi,
Does any know how to delete a row from a table view model.
I have a TableViewModel being displayed, when the user select the particular row and click delete i want that particular row to be deleted.
Any Suggestions How.

If u want to delete single row, then set the property of TableView - selectionMode="SINGLESELECT". Select the radio button and click on delete button. In the main program, you can get the row value like...

"i" will give you the row no, pid has the value of the row at first column.
