How to deploy the ADF libraries to the OracleAS

I have 10g ias running on Solaris and am using 905 (preview) jdev, however when I deploy to my iAS server
my app does not run because ADF is not supported yet.
How do I deploy the ADF libraries to the OracleAS ?
I have tried ticking the ADF Model Runtime and ADF Controller runtime on the War deployment profile settings panel under WEB-INF/lib, but this did not work

the missing thing in your example is the fact, that if only one value is selected, the parameter has exact this value like BOSTON. If you choose more than one value, the parameter includes the *'*, so that it looks like *'BOSTON','NEW YORK'*. So you need to check in the package, if there's a *,* in the parameter or not. If yes there's more than one value, if not it's only one value or it's null.
So change your package to (you need to expand your variables)

What does ADF have to do with a service bus? If you want to deploy an application you developed using ADF 11g (ADF Faces, ADF BC) - the only supported platform right now is WLS 10.3. If OSB can also run on WLS 10.3, then I guess you can put them both on the same WLS. You will need to configure the WLS domain with the ADF libraries - have a search of the forum, that topic has been discussed extensively in the last week or 2.

Display a file with in the ADF screen in the edit mode.(RTF or Word format)

As per my business need i need to display a file (.doc or .pdf) in the ADF screen in the edit mode. Later user can be able to save the document . As of now i am using a separate editor for edit the document. but that editor is supporting only for html format only. so that some images which are there in those files are not displaying in the screen.so this is not the consistent solution for my requirement.
So please help on this if any body had done this kind of object.

Basically you need to deploy the ADF runtime libraries (use the ADF Runtime Installer), and then deploy your WAR.

Will iTunes 10 & iTunes 11 work together? If not, how do I combine 2 libraries with the same account?

My 2005 iMac (which can't be updated to Snow Leopard or Mountain Lion and so is stuck with iTunes 10) has thousands of my songs, over 80GB of music mostly from CDs and other uploads/downloads. In 2008 we got an iMac for the family room; somehow although we have the same iTunes account for that computer, we started fresh with no tracks, and built up its own library for family use. Now we've bought two iPhones which aren't recognized by the '08 iTunes/Mac OS, so I want to upgrade the '08 iMac (the only one I can) and I have the Snow Leopard software to do so.
But I'm concerned that once the two computers have different versions of iTunes, I will lose the ability to home-share the music library from the '05 iMac on the '08 iMac, and because of that I won't be able to store any of my older Mac's tracks on the iCloud or access them on my iPhone. (Of course I don't want to have to pay for 80GB+ on the cloud!)
Has anyone got two versions of iTunes on two computers with the same account and are you able to home-share together and access tracks on your iPhones from an older version?
What do Apple users recommend? I'm thinking my best bet might be to combine the two libraries, which as I said are on the same account, but I don't know how to go about doing this. How much time would it take with 80GB? (I could probably do without 15% or 20% of those tracks, but it's still a lot, I don't know if it's instantaneous or if it uploads each track one at a time, I can imagine that taking two days.)
The older Mac's tracks, the 80GB, are the ones I really want, it took years to collect and upload all that, finding photos for some of the more esoteric albums/songs, etc. The newer Mac only has 2.5GB in its iTunes and I guess it wouldn't be the worst thing if I had to reload those, if the 80GB library had to wipe out the 2.5GB one.

Thank you for replying. Both of the accounts are Admin accounts. The Libraries are kept in the user/music/itunes/itunes media folder on each account. However, I do use multiple iTunes Libraries on my Account1. One of the Libraries I use in Account1 is on a separate internal HD. However, the other Libraries I use in Account1 are stored in user/music/itunes/itunes media folder on the main HD (which hosts both Account1 and Account2). It doesn't seem to matter whether I am using an iTunes Library on an external drive or the main drive in Account1, I still get the same problem: only account1 library will load. AppleTV sees that the Account2 Library is there, but it won't load it.

If the package doesn't have any reference to Data Source, then connection manager information is already included in package (.dtsx).
BUT if package connection managers are using Data Source as reference, then Data source will not be uploaded automatically. Deployed package will use the same Data source.

Hey i need help on opening two libraries at the same time on itunes. I don't know if that is possible but need some advice if its possible. I already have several libaries but I need to compare labaries at times due to various users on my computer. Please help .

Not that I'm aware of. What exactly is that you want to achieve? There are tools for scanning media folders and adding any files not listed in the library, or deleting those that no longer exist. There are also ways to use one library for multiple users so that any tag update gets applied for everyone.

How to deploy an ADF RC application to any OC4J that running on Linux?

I developed an application with the latest Jdev 11gTP3. The team has a linux server that I want to install an OC4J and deploy my application.
I tried the following:
1. OC4J standalone 11g. Followed the installation instruction, with the command:
$ORACLE_HOME/bin/oc4j -start
I can initiate a server connection from Jdev, even passed test. But when deployment failed, I even tried to install ADF runtime library by following an Oracle official document. However, I can't get it work.
2. I tried to start the Jdev embedded OC4J with command:
java -jar oc4j.jar
I believe something has to be set before the application can work on this OC4J
Has anyone ever made it? Can you please share the steps of accomplishing it?

So at this stage, a TP3 ADF application could only run on JDev Embedded OC4J?

How to deploy Secure ADF applications w/o Fusion Middleware Control

Just got the team upgraded to the new JDeveloper 11.1.1.1.0 and things have come to a halt because we can't deploy to our test servers.
The previous process from OTN for 11.1.1.0.2 doesn't seem to work anymore.

The new on-line docs say the way to deploy Secure ADF Application is either Fusion Middleware Control or WLST command. The instructions for the FMC are there, but not the WLST. (See section 7.2 http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/core.1111/e10043/addlsecfea.htm#CFHFAIGE)
Is there a new documented set of instructions for deploying a Secure ADF Application using WLST????

HT3819 What if one device breaks down? What would happen to the itunes libraries in the other linked devices?

For example, I turned on Home Sharing for two computers in my home. Therefore, the two itunes libraries contain the same data. However, if one computer got a virus and all its data has been wiped out, including my music, films on iTunes - basically, if the computer just broke down....What would happen to the iTunes library in the other computer? Would all its data be wiped out as well?

Home Sharing lets you stream or copy media from one library to another. If you stream media only the source computer has a copy of the data. If that machine died you would lose the data. If you copy the media across then you have a backup. I don't offhand know if Home Sharing lets you copy ripped CDs as well as store purchases as I've never used it.
I would recommend you have one master library that you sync all of your devices to and you back that up! Other computers can then stream content or you can make local copies.

Saving a new boolean value from the ADF table/ to the OracleDb

We have a problem with the <af:selectBooleanCheckbox/> -component
and with the Oracle database. The <af:selectBooleanCheckbox/> will use the boolean datatypes, but the database needs number datatypes (1/0).
We have to also to use <af:table/> -component to read datarows into it.
We have tested that the "converting" -property does not work inside the <af:table/>
and I think maybe that is a somekind of bug(?)
Saving the data back to the database will cause an error like: "The value 'false' is not a number."
What will be a solution? Is there a some workaround or trick to do that?

EDIT: I've been able to create the deployment file. I found an older copy of NWDS and the old project folders are working perfectly again. I'll cross that bridge with the new version another time.
Firstly, sorry if this post is in the wrong section ... I looked around and couldn't find a section that I thought fitted.
A while back my company created a simple login module to similate a single sign on for our network. The module worked perfectly for a few months, then about a months ago it started rejecting logins for no apparent reason. I've asked all involved with the system and everyone claims that they haven't touched anything and that the problem must be within the Java class.
Due to recent workstation upgrades, I now have the latest version of NetWeaver Development Studio installed (SDN_Preview_SR_5_IDECE71). This new version does not like the old project that was created for this task, and I am struggling to create a new project which will do what I need.
Can someone point me to up-to-date documentation that explains how I can create a project which contains only a single java class that is to be deployed to a web portal? The class that is created extends the SAP class; com.sap.engine.interfaces.security.auth.AbstractLoginModule.

And that was of no help as it seems the documentation is no longer up-to-date with the current version ... or am I looking at the wrong documentation?
