Hi,
You can delpoy it using the portal or in any IE.
Create an Iview in the portal and give the application name of your component and run it. As portal is the part of the SAP Netweaver. Where ever you want you can call the application as it is a URL.
For the creation of Iviews and related things, refer to the EP forum.

You can get this information from Java Cloud Service learning center.
Java Cloud Service provides a SDK (Download) which includes ANT tasks library (As well as Maven Plugin) which can be used to extend the Ant build file to deploy the application to the cloud.
In case of App server talking to the Database , that part is already taken care of in the Oracle Java Cloud Service and associated Oracle Database Cloud Service.

Yes, you import the changes on the "Test" tab of the transport studio of the CMS webui. This will deploy the changes to Test (to the system you have specified in the runtime system configuration for this track)

How can deploy the application and data to client?

As I know, I can burn a CD with http://mobileserver/setup/webtogo/setup.exe and distribute this CD to client to install web-to-go Client.
But how can I create a package for client to install my application and data?
What tools should I use? Where can I get the information?

I have download some samplecodes from OTN.
For example,"EditRecordHr".Open it in Jdeveloper,and compile and run the emp_edit.jsp. The status box show "Oracle9iAS (9.0.2.0.0) Containers for J2EE initialized".Then nothing happen.

Normally, JDev will automatically launch the web browser for you once it detects that the embedded OC4J server is ready to receive requests. However, in some circumstances JDev 9.0.2 was not able to detect OC4J readiness, and JDev would end up waiting indfinitely.
These detection problems are fixed in JDev 9.0.3 Preview, so your best bet is to download the preview and retry your samples there.

How to deploy cairngorm application with FTP support?

but it doesn't work in the hosting server because I can not
add the cairngorm.swc file to the application.

i want to know how to change the Data sources after deploying the application to the application server ???
I'm using Oracle Application Server 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.1.0)

Can you access the Enrprise Manager website of the target Application Server from your location? If so, you can change the datasource in it. If not, yo can bundle the datasource definition in your archive and use that one instead of the one configured in the target OC4J container. Or this will just be the responsability of your customer: whenever you send a new WAR file, they have to modify the datasource if needed and deploy the application?

MDS error while deploying the application in 12c

Hi,
I'm using JDeveloper - 12.1.2.0.0
I'm trying to deploy the application and encountered the following error:
oracle.mds.config.MDSConfigurationException: MDS-01330: unable to load MDS configuration document
MDS-01329: unable to load element "persistence-config"
MDS-01370: MetadataStore configuration for metadata-store-usage "WebCenterFileMetadataStore" is invalid.
MDS-01255: The property partition-name has not been supplied.
I see the MDS metadata entries are present in adf-config.xml located at .adf folder.
The same configurations are working in 11g environment, but seing this error in 12c.
Are there any changes to be done for adf-config.xml file in 12c setup?
Any inputs would be helpful.

Ravi, have you migrated the application?
If yes you should make a small test with a fresh 12c app to see how the descriptors have changed.
The release notes don't reveal a change in the setup. !"c migration on the other side sometimes adds descriptos or add entries into the meta data. Thats why I always try to create a app under12c first to see which entries and descriptors are needed. Then I compare them with the data after the migration.

Basically you deploy your Servlet as a WAR File. I am not familiar with IntellJ IDE. But it should have a provision to export/create a WAR file that has your Servlet. Also I hope you already have web.xml file with 2 sections like this: First you mention full package of your servlet and give it a name. Then enter a mapping url. You will use this url to run your servlet like http://weblogichost:weblogicport/yourWebappcontextroot/myservlet

Coming to deployment, I hope you already created a Weblogic Domain and have admin username/password. Start your domain. Login into weblogic console like http://host:port/console and use admin username/password. Then from Deployments section, deploy the above WAR file. In Weblogic you can deploy JAR (EJBs, java files), WAR (web jsp, html, webservices, servlets) or EAR (JAR + WAR). In your case its just a WAR file.

I think there is some thing missing in my configurations. Can you please tell how to deploy and run a hibernate application. Is there any problem occurs while accessing another DataBase from Oracle Content Management? What are the setting I have to do for running a hibernate application from Oracle CMSDK?

Hi,
I got the solution for my problem. The error came because of the hibernate pooling. I removed the hibernate pooling lines from my hibernate configuration file and it is working fine.lines

How to deploy the Oracle Forms and Reports 10g in Web?

Currently I am working in Oracle forms & Reports conversion project (6i to 10g).
As of now 6i forms working as a standalone application. After migrated it to 10g, I need to deploy the forms and reports in web.
Any one know how to deploy the Oracle forms and Reports in web?

for development, you need to install Oracle Developer
Suite 10g. This includes Forms and Reports.this topic interests me too, because I've downloaded Developer Suite and Database (both for 10g) from Oracle website, installed them, but I couldn't connect to a database.
What should be done for me to create a database link and be able to connect locally, in my personal Desktop computer? (Not to a server)
Once it was told me here that I should download 10g Database - I did it, and installed it, but it didn't work. Later, some of my job partners said I should install them in a sequence - that is, 1st the Developer, and 2nd the Database. But it has failed too. And I don't know how to configure a database connection.

First of all you can delete delete the development environment, by executing apxdevrm.sql script.
You can also wrap your packages.
