How to design this application with Struts?

I want to disign an application like this:
Input the students data to the database(or xml)
e.g:student_id,student_name,subject_id,subject_name,achievement...
If i submit one record each time, it's easy to do it.
use the tag of Struts as:
<html:form ...>
<html:text property="student_id"/>
<html:text property="student_name"/>
<html:text property="achievement"/>
</html:form>
And then create an ActionForm which attributes are correspondint to these input fields and create the Getters and Setters.
But,if i want to input multi-record(e.g:10 records each time), how can i design the input page and how can i design the ActionForm?
Frustrating...

You could use struts indexed properties.

It is quite fiddly, but it does work.

Thank you Sypress.. When I install it the code works fine. But I wanted to include data with the application. I think I found a way way. I added the data in a text file and while starting the application I inserted data from the file into the recordstore.

How to start a application with a login window?

You can start a new thread by making a thread object and passing it an implementation of a runnable object. Runnable has just one method, public void run(), this is was gets executed in a second thread. perhaps the code you would use would look something like this.

"You cannot use this application with this version of OS X"

I'm getting this message when I try to open .AVI files that I uploaded from my digital camera, but I'm posting it here instead of in the Quicktime section because I believe that the cause of the problem is more general. When researching this problem, I looked at the info panel for these .AVI files, and the app listed to open them was "Quicktime Player (default) (7.1.3)". But the actual version of Quicktime that I have installed is version 7.4. If I set the file's "Open With" app to be "Quicktime 7.4", it opens fine, but the "Open With" app reverts back to "Quicktime Player (default) (7.1.3)", making the problem come back. I've also noticed that if I right-click on other apps (a PDF file, for example), and choose "Open With" from the popup menu, that I see other versions of apps that no longer exist on my machine (Safari 2.0.4, for example). I think that files associated with these older app versions may be the cause of many of the "You cannot use this application with this version of OS X" issues that have been reported here. My question is where is this list of "installed" products maintained in OS X, and is there a way that I can edit it to remove those product versions that no longer exist on my system. In my particular instance, I'd like to remove "Quicktime 7.1.3" which should allow me to set the associated app for my .AVI files to be Quicktime 7.4 with no possibility of the association reverting to an earlier version that's not only incompatible with Leopard, but also not installed on my system.

When you associate a file with an application, are you then clicking the "Change All" button? You can rebuild the LaunchServices database. Evidently the location of the command and the database have changed slightly in Leopard from what they were in Tiger. See this thread for the updated instructions:

Also, make sure you don't have the old applications archived somewhere. I've been astonished in the past at just how enterprising the system can be in finding some program squirreled away in an obscure backup folder and listing it as an option to open something.

Could you pls help me how to design a form with multiple languages. when I set the form proprties-->Form Locale as Arabic. English text is comming in reverse and when set the FormLocale as English, Arabic text is comming in revese.

I am not sure how you can have two different languages inside the same PDF.
Alternatively, if you want to place only the static labels, you can convert all the static label in one language to images and set the form language setting to other. And place the images inside the form using Image field. For example, you can keep the form language as English and then convert all the arabic language labels/ Static text to images.
Anotherway,
Have same sections in both the languages and hide and unhide based on the user selection of the language..
if your user chooses Arabic, then you can unhide the Arabic sections and change the form language properties programmatically..

Create a formula and enter this (let's name this FORMULA_KF):
((EMPLOY_STATUS = 0) OR (EMPLOY_SUBGROUP = 2)) * enter value IF_TRUE + enter value IF_FALSE
Then create the condition to HIDE the rows having those values to be filtered (if this is your purpose)..

FORMULA_KF <> 1

I can't help you with a direct answer. For third-party devices you should contact the vendor (Vodafone).
If you have an iPhone (or an Android phone with hot-spot capability) you can use that to connect to the Internet without paying for a separate cellular service.

        I have a requirement to design guided procedure for stock reconciliation.
        The starting page for this is a webdynpro(ABAP) report. This report has a table with 4 columns namely, Material_Num, Customer_stock, Org_Stock, Delta.
Material_Num | Customer_stock I Org_Stock I Delta |
TRN001          | 100                   | 65             | 35     |
TRN002          | 200                   | 160            | 40    |
User will select any row and then can click on 'Reconcile' button below.
On clicking the 'Reconcile' button it should open a HTML page with details on selected data for reconciliation based on the selected row. This page should have a 'Send for approval' button.
On clicking 'Send for approval' button, it should open another page for selecting the manager from a list. User can select the right manager and press 'Send' button.
Once 'send' button is clicked, a status HTML page should open showing status of managerial approval.
The manager should receive a worklist entry in the portal universal work list. He should be able to approve it.
The GP flow is like this:
Stock Report -
> Send for approval   -
> Select Manager -
> Status.
Can somebody guide me with steps to follow to design this in GP?
How to pass selected row data from the webdynpro report to the 'Send for approval' page?

Hi Gopal,
I would rather recommend you to use Java Web Dypro to have all the advantages of a better integration (parameters mapping, eventing on completion, etc.). You can use ABAP Web Dynpro Application but this is, from a GP Perspective, strictly limited to open the Application. Nothing else happens.
To reach a better integration in ABAP, you might use the BSP Callable Object.

I recently completed Java programming tutorial from Sun and practised core java (I have previous programming experience). Now I understand the basics of Inheritance, Abstraction , Polymorphism,Encapsulation
Now i am writing Java code without much difficulty, but am not sure of application design. This is my main problem: "DESIGNING" the application. Say if i have given a task to create an application in Java, What should I start up with? How to think about? Any formal/informal guidelines I should follow while developing class hierarchies? I am really confused (abstract class or interface or sub class..?). Should I start by model everything, before writing code?
It would be very useful for people like me to have a SET OF GENERAL GUIDELINES/BEST PRACTICES, which we can follow while start developing a new java application.
Please provide me some guidelines/thoughts/books/resources/tools I should read or Use

Not necessarily. While some programmers may be Software Engineers others may not have the knowledge base of someone who has read at least one SE book. An practical example is outsourcing. Typically, the code writing (programming) bit is outsourced with the requirements gathering (an SE task), cost management (project mgmt. or SE task), time management (PM or SE), etc. kept locally.
