How to "destroy" an EP7 logon session?

We want to make sure once a user clicks "log off" on EP7 and confirms the
popup by clicking "yes", the EP7 session is "destroyed".  In other words,
no one can use the "arrow back" to return to the visited sessions.
Seems note 596698 is about this. However, it does not have any
detail about how to do it.
Please advise. Thanks! Points guaranteed.

search for this file
com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par and take a backup of this.Import that par file into NWDS
and open LogoffConfirmMsg.jsp and check for the code which is invoked on the click of logoff button and add the code
session.inValidate()(make sure there are no syntax errors) and make sure all the jar files included in the lib folder and deploy the par file into the portal
Hope this helps if not get back to me

  • How to prolong the bluetooth timeout session on ipad and iphone

    how to prolong the bluetooth timeout session on ipad and iphone?
    I understannd that the standard timeout setting is 3 mins. what if I want to prolong the connection duration, how should I do?
    thanks

    To my knowledge, there is no "time out" on a device.  A mouse, KB, etc will go into a low power mode after a short period of non-use.

    Use DBMS_SUPPORT to set trace in another users session
    Next use the interface to again set trace for SCOTT's session that we found earlier. here it is:
         SQL> exec dbms_support.start_trace_in_session(10,20,waits=>true,binds=>false);

  • How to open a URL without session ID and reuse the current browser session?

    Hi All,
    I have a question about HTMLDB 2.0
    How to open a URL without session ID and reuse the current browser session?
    That was the behaviour in HTMLDB 1.6 ...
    My usecase for this is the following:
    We have written an issue tracking application, which sends e-mail to the interested users, when something happens.
    In these email we've put a link to some page, with some parameters in the URL.
    The idea is for the user to be easy to click on the hyperlink and to see the details of the ticket.
    When the user clicks on such a link he is directed to a login screen (page 101) and he enters his Username and password, and is then forwarded to the details for the ticket.
    Then he receives another email (e.g. for another ticked). He clicks on the link and :
    a) in HTMLDB 1.6 he goes to the details as he didn't close his browser and session is remembered
    b) in HTMLDB 2.0 he is prompted to enter username, password with the username populated
    Please tell me how can I achieve the same behaviour in HTMLDB2.0 as it was in HTMLDB 1.6.
    I understand this change is somehow security related, althogh I don't understand how. If you can explain this either I would be very happy?

  • SCCM 2012 R2 reporting error: "The DefaultValue expression for the report parameter 'UserTokenSIDs' contains an error: A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated. (rsRuntimeErrorInExpression)"

    Hi,
    I have two SCCM environments under same active directory domain and one service account have been used for SCCM configurations on both the environments (QA and PRODUCTION). I am facing similar error as mentioned above while trying to fetch reports on
    PRODUCTION site, but the QA site is working fine, though same service account have been used for configuring both. While looking at the reportserverservice_<date> log on my Production DB server i see the following error
    "processing!ReportServer_0-3!2124!01/02/2015-09:09:30:: e ERROR: Throwing Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ProcessingAbortedException: , Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ProcessingAbortedException: An error has occurred during
    report processing. ---> Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ReportProcessingException: Cannot read the next data row for the dataset DataSet1. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Conversion failed when converting the nvarchar value 'Override
    Default' to data type int."
    My DB and SCCM primary site are different and the reorting services point is installed on remote DB server. Please help me resolving the issue.
    Troubleshooting performed:
    1.Disabled the registry key 'EnableRbacReporting' from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\SRSRP to 0 and then restarted SSRS service and the reporting worked for some minutes after that the registry key reverted back to 1 automatically and
    reporting started throwing errors again.
    2. Checked with the permissions on DB whether or not 'sysadmin' role is assigned to the SCCM service account.
    3. re-registered the SQL management Provider WMI class.
    mofcomp.exe “C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Shared\sqlmgmproviderxpsp2up.mof”

    Hi All,
    Finally found exact solution to the reporting error.
    Error: while launching SCCM reports (both from Console and web based) an unexpected error occured with error message as "The DefaultValue expression for the report parameter ‘UserTokenSIDs’ contains an error: A specified logon session does not exist.
    It may already have been terminated. (rsRuntimeErrorInExpression)"
    Solution: This is password replication issue for the domain account used to configure reporting services point in SCCM. If your SQL SSRS reporting services instance and databse runs with local default account whereas the reporting services point on SCCM
    primary site is configured with domain account, (As in My case) you need to perform the following in order to get rid of the error.
    Launch 'Reporting Services Configuration Manager' from the SQL SSRS box(either Local or Remote), Connect to Report Server Instance->Go to 'Execution Account' tab->Specify the 'Execution Account' as domain account and password which is used to configure
    Reporting Services Point in SCCM Primary Site, and then click apply.
    Now Lauch the report either way (Web based or from Console), the error will disappear and all your default reports will execute perfectly as before.

  • How to check whether a user session is null or not

    Hi
    I am using Jdeveloper 11.1.2.2
    I have a use case of running some Junit test case, this is the problem I have :
    There are some Junit tests which are written for some VO's. While testing insert and update operation in Junit there is two mandatory columns Created by and Updated by to be entered for committing into the database.
    These values are taken from the UserName of the current UserSession .
    So for getting the these values for each user I thought of displaying a JPanel before the test is run, where the user enters the Username and password which is validated and the user is verified.
    First, I need to check whether there is a session present or not. For checking this, I wrote a createUserSession() and did like this inside it :
    if(fixture.getApplicationModule().getSession().getUserData().isEmpty())If so to show the Jpanel and get the user details and verify the user.
    But while running the test itself I found that the session is already present, now I just have to input the values based on who is the user.
    But Junit doesn't run the tests in the order in which the test are written. So I have to call this in all the test cases.
    The Question is :
    How can I check whether the session is already present or not, so that I don't have to ask the user every time while every test is running to enter the Username and Password ?
    Thanks,
    Nigel.

    Hi,
    wondering why don't you create test users and then automatically log them in as Jan Vervecken did on the threads I pointed you to. This way your test cases run without user interaction. To test if a session exists for a user, I would put a custom property into user data. If this property exists, the user session is an existing one. However, make sure the information you save into the user data survives passivation as otherwise the information you get out of this is not accurate. • How create  EJB 2.1 Stateful Session Bean in a EJB 3.0 Session Bean

    Hi All,
    We have been developing on EJB 2.1. We are now adding a module on EJB 3.0.
    How can we "create" a stateful session bean with create method signature similar to create(String id)?
    We have tried
    // this is the remote interface
    @EJB AddressBean abean;
    But not working
    Any help will be appreciated.

    There is no explicit create() call for EJB 3.0 session beans. It doesn't really matter though
    since you can accomplish the same thing by defining your own business method to act
    as an initializer for whatever state you'd like. E.g.
    @Remote
    public interface FooInterface {
    public void initialize(String id);
    // ... other business methods
    @EJB FooInterface fooRef;
    fooRef.initialize("foo");
    --ken

  • How to get stateful and stateless session bean in second jsp

    I create stateful session bean in the first jsp, then how can I get the stateful session bean in the second jsp? I find that somebody store the bean in HttpSession.
    If I store the stateful session bean in HttpSession, then I can get it in the second jsp. My problem is that I can store the stateless session bean in HttpSession, and get it in the second jsp. Then, both stateful and stateless can maintain the state in the second jsp. What is the difference between stateful and stateless session bean in this case ?
    I understand the definition of stateful and stateless session bean, but I'm confuse how to use session bean. Can anyone provide sample jsp to show difference of stateful and stateless? How the stateful session bean can maintain the state for the client?

    Greetings,
    I create stateful session bean in the first jsp, then how can I get the stateful session bean in the
    second jsp? I find that somebody store the bean in HttpSession.Which is the correct scope for sharing client-specific data when 'request' scope is insufficient.
    If I store the stateful session bean in HttpSession, then I can get it in the second jsp. My problem is
    that I can store the stateless session bean in HttpSession, and get it in the second jsp. Then, bothWhy is that a "problem"? Does your application not require the stateless bean to be shared? If so, then don't store the EJBObject reference in the session...
    stateful and stateless can maintain the state in the second jsp. What is the difference betweenWhat do you mean by this exactly?..
    stateful and stateless session bean in this case ?Statefulness of session beans is in regard to maintaining client state (er, in all cases). If your "stateless" bean is receiving information from the client (i.e. its caller) - either through a create method or a business method - and that information is available (retrievable from the bean) on subsequent method calls, then that bean is, in fact, stateful - regardless of how it is deployed.
    I understand the definition of stateful and stateless session bean, but I'm confuse how to use
    session bean.The correct question, it here seems, is "when" to use which type... Use a "stateful" bean when information about (from) the client (i.e. the caller) must be maintained across method calls of the bean. Use a "stateless" bean for general business methods that do not depend on "prior knowledge" of the client (i.e. the caller).
    Can anyone provide sample jsp to show difference of stateful and stateless? How the statefulA "sample JSP" would yield nothing additional... The semantics of calling, using, and "persisting", bean references are always the same - regardless of type or class. However, the reason(s) for using one over the other depends entirely on the needs of your application.
    session bean can maintain the state for the client?I recommend that you spend more time learning about EJBs generally. In particular, it seems you require more fundamental understanding of their scope and lifecycle. Refer to sections 4, 6, and 7 of the EJB 2.0 Specification.

  • How to avoid Invalidation of Stateful Session Bean in case of an Exception?

    Hi developers,

    Please help !

    Your question is not how to create/compile a stateless session bean, you are asking how to use those weblogic specific annotations. A weblogic forum is a better place to ask that.

  • How to reduce buffer busy waits, session hanging due to buffer busy waits

    Hi,
    How to reduce buffer busy waits, session hanging due to buffer busy waits.
    Thanks,
    Sathis.

    When I see through enterprise manager I see lot of
    tables with buffer busy waits.
    Is there any way by table name we can check the
    blocks info.
    The simple way is to look at the SQL statement and corresponding table name?
    P1=file#, P2=block#. You can extract segment name(table or index) using this info.
    Query v$bh like following:
    SQL> select file#, block#, class#, objd from v$bh where file# = P1 and block# = P2;
    SQL> select object_name from all_objects where object_id = <objd>;See following doc:
    http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14237/dynviews_1051.htm
    Or you can dump block:
    SQL> alter system dump datafie <P1> block <P2>;Some excerpts from block dump:
    scn: 0x07df.17e70782 seq: 0x01 flg: 0x04 tail: 0x07822301
    frmt: 0x02 chkval: 0x61d0 type: 0x23=PAGETABLE SEGMENT HEADER
    Map Header:: next  0x00000000  #extents: 1    obj#: 55881  flag: 0x10000000>
    Can we do something at table level that will reduce
    the waits.
    Yes, some methods are known. But before thinking of that, you must verify which block class and which access are involved.
    Typo... always. :(

  • How to stop the internal batch session

    Hi ,
    How to stop the internal batch session, which is triggered from the program.
    When I execute the program, there is an batch session, which starts processing in parallel with the program, and causes an error message for the program, so the further process is affected.
    I tried finding the session through the Transactions - SM35, SM37. However, I could find any session in my name.
    However, when I try thro SM04, I could find an session with the same error message. But I am not able to end the session.
    Pleas advise.
    Thanks,
    cartesian.

    Go through transaction SM50. In case you have more than one application server (transaction SM51 will show) you can also use SM66 which will show all running processes on all application servers.
    With SM50 you will only see the process running if it is running on the same application server you are logged on to.
    Mark the process and use menu 'Program/Session - End Session' or 'Process - End with or without Core'
    Hope that helps,
    Michael

  • Reporting using SSRS not working - logon session does not exist

    Hello All,
    After installing the 'reporting site system role' and configuring (using MS technet reference guides), I see the report folder under my Monitoring-> reporting->reports folder;

    The account I'm using is a domain account with 'full' permissions to compliance security role. I also verified the individual object level permission and it holds good. I'm not sure what I'm missing here.
    Any help on this is greatly appreciated. thanks

    I talked to a member of the product team and they agree this is not a solution. He has not heard of this issue before and STONGLY recommends that you contact CSS for support. This is the only way this is going to be fixed permanently.
    It is my guess that if you ever apply a service pack 2 or other updates to CM12, this problem will re-occur, again this is my guess this will happen again.
    Remember that if it is a bug then there is no charge for the support call.

  • How to do screen resolution in session method

    hi guru how to do screen resolution in session method.
    please tell me.
    regards
    subhasis

    Sometime back this is refered in SDN :
    Check table <i>CTU_PARAMS</i> and field <i>DEFSIZE</i> for setting fixed line of table control.
    CALL TRANSACTION 'VA01' USING it_bdcdata
    OPTIONS FROM OPT
    MESSAGES INTO it_mesg.
    opt of type ctu_params.
    WA_CTU_PARAMS-DISMODE = 'N'. "no screen mode
    WA_CTU_PARAMS-UPDMODE = 'S'. "synchronus update
    WA_CTU_PARAMS-NOBINPT = 'X'.
    WA_CTU_PARAMS-NOBIEND = 'X'.
    WA_CTU_PARAMS-DEFSIZE = 'X'. "Default size
    Default size will play good role in terms of resoultion. in one system in table control you can see 10rows, but in others system it will show 20 records. it depends on resoultion. but when you set the default size then it will take same (default screen size) in all the systems when you run BDC.
    Thanks!!
