How to change mouse-over label for a mx:CandleStickChart?

I have an <mx:CandleStickChart .../> graph and want to change the default
labels on the mouse-over window. For example by default, the mouse-over window displays:
line1: some label
line2: open: #1
line3: close: #2
line4: high: #3
line5: low: #4
I want to change the words "open", "close", "high", "low" to something else. I optionally want to not show the "close" line.
Do you have any suggestions on how to do this? If you do, please provide a short example.

so "I" will indicate that your icon is inactive
Create another resource id like:
#define kPlusIconPNGIconIRsrcID 15
#define kPlusIconPNGIconARsrcID 15
Define paths to the icons
resource PNGA(kPlusIconPNGIconIRsrcID) "../res/icons/PLUS_ICO_23_I.png" // Inactive icon
resource PNGR(kPlusIconPNGIconARsrcID) "../res/icons/PLUS_ICO_23_A.png" // Active icon

Change/disable mouse-over selection on app switcher menu (apple-tab menu)

Does anyone know of a way to disable the mouse-over selecting an application on the apple-tab menu (app switcher)? This is so frustrating when you are trying to do a lot of copy and paste between apps and the mouse keeps "re-selecting" the application you are trying to choose.

How to get mouse over shape to display data in Visio 2013?

Hi Visio pros,
I am required to create a diagram of our servers rack setup and will be publishing to a Web page using Visio 2013.
The goal is to mouse over the server shape and have the data be displayed. I have followed arguably every solution on the internet. I am either doing it wrong, or it might be outdated information.
I'm hoping Paul Herber, or other Visio pros would be able to help me with this situation as I am on a tight schedule and have exhausted my resources.
Things I have tried:
user.visEquivTitle in ShapeSheet

and
prop.(data name) in the comments within the miscellaneous section of the ShapeSheet.

Browser that I am using is Internet Explorer since I ran into problems with Google Chrome.
However, after more reading I noticed the User.visEquivTitle provides a tooltip. If it is what I think it is, which is a small yellow box displaying a string, my employer would not want that.
We're looking for something that will provide an aesthetic display of data after mouse over onto the shape.

How to disable mouse click ??

hi ,
i have a form in which i have a block abc in this there are 5 items say a,b,c,d,e
suppose my cursor is in item field 'a' there i have entered some value then i go to item field b and entered some value and then i go to field c without any enter or tab but with the help of mouse only. there i want to put a trigger on block level ( on-mouse-click) that whenever anyone tries to move from the current field to another field with the help of mouse then the cursor should be moved to previous item automatically that is item 'b'. in breif i want to disable mouse click from moving one field to another.
on-mouse-click i can store system.current_item i.e 'a' but not able to store previous field i.e 'b'.
please help....

Try to set the mouse navigation limit form-level property to item when you want to disable the mouse.

How to disable mouse actions for Spotlight?

Spotlight causes me problems, because it is activated, when the middle button of my three-button mouse is pressed. Many X11 and Windows applications have some functions for the middle button and then Spotlight grabs it and nothing else works as it should. Hence, I would like to disable all such mouse functions in Spotlight and other mouse bindings and use mouse only as a pointing device, as it originally was intended to. How can this be done - I cannot find any such hotkeys etc. defined in System Preferences.

the central button can be programmed to do anything from System preferences ->Keyboard and Mouse-> Mouse. Use the drop down box to select "none" if you dont want the middle button to do anything.
If you use a lot of x11 apps that require a different set of actions than the normal mouse environment, I would consider creating a separate user account and turn on fast user switching in system preferences->accounts.
Then you can customize the user environment (mouse actions, etc) to be utilized differently for each unique operating environment.

XCelsius Map component - how to hide mouse over region value?

I have one problem with a map component:
Please open standard Xcelsius map sample: File -> Samples -> Map
If you turn your mouse to state, for example Alabama you will see "Alabama 31.66"
I need only "Alabama", how to hide this "31.66"?
I created colored map but user should not see the value, he should see just name of the map region
Any ideas?

That's exactly what you need to do.
Put your character image on the stage.
Insert the rollover image interaction, select the same image for the rollover image.
Place the rollover area over the original image and cover the original with the rollover image.
Edit the rollover image in Captivate to adjust saturation, etc.
You can also add an effect to that image.

treeview provode checkbox with state picture. When click on the pic, it will change the state pic.

N5901 how to disable mouse to wake up my PC from sleep

I’ve Windows 7 64bit machine. I configured S3 power option in Bios. Everything is good with N5901 to put computer to sleep and waking up. Since the mouse is very sensitive in N5901 its waking up my PC very often (even if I just walk while the remote is on the floor).
I went to device manager and turned off the wakeup for the mouse. I reduced the speed of the mouse pointer still not good enough. Seems current drivers doesn't support this option as the Keyboard and Mouse built in one device. Any help appreciated!!!

I am very sure I only have one subnet. My Airport Express is currently used for another PC that don't have wifi card to connect wifi network. They all have 192.168.1.x addresses. I am testing it that I can wake my iMac from a MacBook within same subnet but failed.
BTW, I found it is most likely that the Wifi card does not support wake on magic packet after some coding and testing... I have written a simple program that talk to device and and it reported that wake on magic packet is not supported...

Do you know how to assign event listeners and event handler functions for them? If so, you assign the listener to the object you want to rollover, using either MouseEvent.ROLL_OVER or MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER as the event.

i think it's not build in. I wrote some years ago the attched vi's, because i also miss this feature. These vi's use the "acquire input data.vi", but it only polls if a control has registered for it.

I think, there is no direct solution.
There is a workaround.
1. Disable mouse over Test.
2. Enable drildown on mouse over and use that index to identify column which user selected.
3. Display Material Description and Value using label components.
But the issue is ,we have to identify a placeholder in graph to display these values.

How to disable voice over only for messages in Mountain Lion ???
It read out loud every single message received!!! Even when the window is open and
I am in it messaging, it still reads out loud everything I receive. I don't want to turn
it off for notifications, only for text inside the messages when I am in them!!!
