How to disable tab

Hi,
I have few tabs in jsp page. I am using tomahawk for creating tabs.
say I have x,y and z tabs.If I click tab x then tab y should be disabled.
Please could anybody explain me how to do this with a small piece
of code.
Any help is highly appreciated.

I know nothing about Tomahawk components. But in fact those components should also implement the 'rendered' attribute. Supply a boolean expression to it whether to render the component or not.

Tabs are generated by the menu structure, if you want your page not to have tabs, have a responsibility with a menu which does not have any levels of submenus and just has your page as a function in the menu.

How to disable tab in detail screen in MIGO T.code

Hi ,
I want to disable serail number tab in detail tab in MIGO transaction and also want to create same subscreen like Serail number with additional 2 fields.
Could some one help me how to disable above mentioneed tab and add new tab to MIGO transaction.
I tried with BADI MB_MIGO_BADI but I 'm not getting how to disable the Serail number tab ( Program SAPLMIGO Screen Number : 0360).

How to disable tabs in titlebar for all users?

I type to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\pref\local-settings.js
pref("browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar", false);
It doesn't work, but any other options in this file works fine.
Setting with about:config works fine, but only for currrent user.

I think that preference refers to what happens when you have Firefox maximized and you do not display either the classic menu bar or the title of the page in that area: the tabs slide up to the top.
I agree the double-high blue area is irritating. To modify that, I think you need to do one of these:
* Change the Windows XP color theme (I always preferred Silver)
* Create a custom style rule to modify the appearance of the tab bar (so the blue does not show through it)
* Find a Firefox theme that fixes that area (e.g., [https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/themes/])
I haven't researched the second and third options in detail.

in the older versions, i could disable the tabs/tabbed browsing. But since upgrading to 4.0, which looks nicer, like the GUI, thanks for that...But...
Status bar was gone, but found a plugin for that...Which i use the status bar. for other things like the "ShowIP" TeamSpeakT...
But the Tabbed Browsing..i always DISABLE or turnoff..
where is this...?

Try "Restore Default Set" in the Customize window.
Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"

Fair point, but it obviously now makes sense keeping fewer pages open. This is now easy to do as you can just add them to 'Reading List' so you can return to them later and since the Reading List syncs to your other devices they are available anywhere you might be browsing which HAS to be a plus.
I realise that the Reading List is just a list of bookmarks and doesn't actually store the page itself, whereas an open tab does - in theory. On many, many occasions I have switched to an open page (now Tab) and had to wait while the page was retrieved again. I don't understand why it does this since the page had already been downloaded and I hadn't asked it to 'redraw'. Also, it doesn't always occur. So why does it refetch some pages and not others? Anyway, if it is re-fetching the page, that is no different from just opening a bookmark and hence in that case storing something in the Reading List would be no different to keeping the page apparently open in another screen.
On the whole I do prefer the new Safari and from the reviews I've read, it seems that most others do also. In any case, there's no point wishing for the old behaviour as it's surely gone for good. Better to embrace the new way of working and learn to love that, so when they change to something else in iOS 6, you'll have something to complain about.

Don't use them. If you have created a tab group then delete that group.

But when i access the same from "Find Service Request" menu option, i get the Charges TAB enabled but not the other two... so i would need to visibilly disable the CHARGES TAB like the other two tabs.
I checked the subfunctions but i could not find any.... i could only find Update Charge and Create Charge options but not the Visible option.

Forms personalisation - Vendor Form - How to Disable a Tab Page

Hi,
I am not a Forms 6i/9i programmer, although I have an appreciation of the concepts and can look at forms in Form builder. I have been looking at forms personalisation and have used it to execute plsql via the built in 'execute a procedure'. I can also see how to disable blocks, or items, but I haven;t managed to disable a form tab page i.e. On the vendor form there are tabs for GENERAL, CLASSIFICATION etc.
I have tried using the object type Tab Page, but the poplist doesn;t list any tab pages. Also if you choose Canvas, the list of Canvases appears but generates errors when you try and use the form (complaining of tab page ids).
I understand that to disable a tab page programatically, you would use SET_TAB_PAGE_PROPERTY i.e. in a forms trigger or in CUSTOM.pll
I would have thought Forms personalisation could do this.
Any ideas would be appreciated

What you can do is hiding the tabs (see pic below) and force the active tab programmaticily

How to disable Create Supplier tab in supplier Inquiry form in AP Responsibility without effecting the supplier entry form. I did the following setups but it is disable in supplier entry form also. Please help me it is very urgent.
1. Log into your System Administrator responsibility.
2. Navigate to Security > Responsibility > Define
3. Query the Payables responsibility you want to only have Inquiry access.
4. Under Menu Exclusion area, set the following:
Type = Function
Name = Supplier Full Access : Buyer View (POS_HT_SP_ACCESS_FULL )
5. Save and test this responsibility.

I guess you have followed the steps mentioned in the note

which means that you need to have separate responsibility for the Supplier Inquiry. You cannot have Supplier Inquiry and Suppler Entry in the same responsibility,please have separate responsibilities. Please make sure you are not having inquiry and entry in the same responsibility.

Is anyone knows how to disable all accordion tabs and be able
to open each next from inside previous.
I know there are some nice samples on how to programatically
open panels and tabs, but on the same time each of panels or tabs
can be open by simply clicking on it. I need to restrict user from
opening tab, unless info is entered inside previous tab content...

This question has been asked before. Once again, you can NOT do this using pure java. This could be done in Windows using JNI and a keyboard hook or interfacing with the screensaver API perhaps.
