How to disable the user settings for the transparent container

Hi Experts,
I have an form designed using VC - model, which as a input field and button. When i compile and deploy every thing works fine. I get the form as the output.I am able to call this form in the portal and I am able to get the page.
Issue: When i right click on the fields in the form I get "User settings for the input field AA" and gives me an option to Hide the field. Which the users doesnot want.
I tried it on the VC runtime where i don't get the right click option.
So kindly help me out in resolving this issue.

Hi Ketan,
If you have chosen the Rendering Client as WebDynpro HTML(by default it is set so) for the callable object, then you would invariably get the 'probelm' you're facing.
Instead you could set for the Object Definition -> Rendering Client as WebDnpro Flex in the Callable object (in Guided Procedures). Now you would not get that hide option.
But one simple question, why would the user want to right click on the field? Even if he hides the fields, he always has the option to make them visible again

Customizing: User-Independent, Client-Wide Modifications
While a single user u2013 during a personalization process u2013 can manipulate his or her own settings, an administrator has the option of executing Customizing settings for all users. Technically, this procedure is not different from personalization; both take place at runtime of an application. The difference lies in the range of the settings. In addition, for these global settings an application must run in a special administration session. This is always automatically the case if an application was started in the portal in the preview session. Independently of the portal, you can start an application in the following manner from within the workbench in administration mode:
Double-click the name of the application in the object list.
In the Web Dynpro Applications menu in the upper, left-hand corner of the Workbench window, choose Test Execute in Admin Mode .
The configuration mode is passed to an application as the sap-config-mode=X URL parameter.
Note
All the adjustments made by the administrator in admin mode are stored as client-specific. Presently no option is available for structuring smaller user groups on an administrative basis. Since cross-client adjustment applies to the respective configuration, the structuring of smaller groups can be implemented currently through the maintenance of different configurations.

You start personalization by calling up the context menu for the respective UI element in your application. In the corresponding context menu for an administrator (that is, with URL parameter sap-config-mode=X), in addition to the standard settings administrators have the option within a UI element container to sort either single lines (Grid, Matrix aund RowLayout) or single elements (FlowLayout).
Note
Administrators require special authorization for client-wide modifications. This can be a developer authorization or the special authorization S_WDR_P13N. You cannot create configurations at design time with this authorization, but you can make modifications at runtime.

These modifications are valid for all users but take place in the current client only.

I have Adobe Acrobat X on my system and there is an annoying transparent pop up that pop up on the document each time I move my mouse. I want to disable this. I don't know if I have ever seen anything so annoying.

If you're seeing a black rounded-end bar with next page, etc icons on the center bottom of the screen, that's the Read Mode HUD. Click the Acrobat trefoil icon on the HUD to switch back to the regular UI.
There's an option under Preferences/Internet to disable or enable Read Mode as the default for viewing PDFs in a web browser.

Assign a reference user to the 100+ users and create events in the factory calendar which assigns and removes the role from the reference user only.
The downside is that it is not scalable for many of the same concepts at the same time, because a dialog user can at one logon time only have one reference user assigned to them.

Older version has the option to disable Skype Status and get rid of the Skype icon on Android status bar. But latest 4.4.0.31835 could not disable Skype Status in notifications settings. :/

Please bring back the option to disable the Skype icon on Android status bar. This is the main reason I uninstall Skype. :/
Kudos to the team, the apps is really smooth and fluid to use. Would be nice if you guys are following the Android Design Principles and using Google Cloud Messaging for push notification to improve User Experience and battery life.

Long click on this notification a sub menu having field "App info" would appear goto App Info. You can goto there by "Manage Apps">"Skype" also.
Uncheck Option "Show Notifications" A dialog will open. Don't worry about notifications for now just click OK. Now the notification icon skype has also been removed.
Now simply check "Show notification again". After doing this you would get notifications but skype icon would not be shown in the status bar anymore.
Issue: this is just a trick you need to repeat this every time sign out and sign in again. Mostly you don't do that so no need to worry.

The status entry field can be changed irrespective of ownership in Documents.
I was able to change the status on the document created by other user.
Example: The status of document was In-Work. The document owner was X. But I was able to change it to Inspection Check.

I don't think there is a way for Edge Code. I'm not sure about Reflow.
Why don't you just upgrade? That will stop the notifications.

Hi guys , because we have no answer to our issue how to take off the vibration when alarm is on , and our other profiles like ringtones, messages , reminders and so on we need to keep them on vibrate mode , the best solution is to install a free application from store called "alarmed " ; I did put it down on my phone and now i can use the alarm clock without any vibration at all ! That's the answer to our issue , before Apple is going to find a solution !
Personally , I don't think is going to be fix it soon , as long as the apple script made for pop ups is general one !

to disable spotlight, open the terminal and type "sudo mdutil -a -i off" without the quotes. ( You will be prompted to enter your admin password.)
to disable dashboard:
Open Terminal, and then type this command, followed by the Return key:
defaults write com.apple.dashboard mcx-disabled -boolean YES
This tells the system that you no longer wish to have Dashboard available. However, the Dashboard task is actually “owned” by the Dock, so to make your changes take effect, you need to restart the Dock. The easiest way to do that is to type this command into the Terminal (and press Return when done):
killall Dock
After the Dock restarts, hit F12 and you’ll see…nothing at all. If you run Activity Monitor, you also won’t find any Dashboard widgets in the list of tasks, even if you had several open when you ran the above command.
