How to display data based on two columns in Apex calendar?

I have a table for holiday details with 2 date columns...from-date and a to-date. I need to display the name of the person for the date range they have specified. For Ex if i applied for leaves from may 1 to may 4...the calendar should display my name for 4 dates i.e may1,2,3 and 4
I am new user in apex and still trying new things. Please help me achieve this.

I created an application using Apex. It is a calendar application to show events that are happening. I ran into an issue with it
If there is an event that occurs during an interval like August15 - August22, the event is shown only on August15, which is the first day of the event. I would like to show it in all days from August15-22.
Here are the items coming from the page
event_id number,
employee_id number
date_from date,
date_to date,
due_date date,
act_id number,
act_loc varchar2,
reminder varchar2,
frequency varchar2,
division varchar2,
event_status varchar2
I am looking to write a process / procedure where it can show the same event on all the days it is occurring

Edit the Folder Style. Select the Folder Layout tab. Select
the Region Properties you want to modify (e.g. Regular Items).
Near the bottom of the page you can specify the number of
columns.

How to display data in interactive report column without colons (:)

Dear Apex gurus,
I'm a newbie and have just created an Apex application from a spreadsheet. I've created a named list of values and used it in a checkbox against a field in the default page 3 Create form.
When I've selected multiple values in my check box in the form, the data in the interactive report appears as one line with colons separating the selected values like this: Dog:Cat:Bird
What I would like is to have the data appear in the interactive report column as a multi-line list like this:
Dog
Cat
Bird
I can work around this by modifying the SQL code in the Region Source of the Region Definition of the report (Default Page 1 interactive report) to replace the colons with 
SELECT replace("PETS_CHOSEN",':',' ') "PETS_CHOSEN", FROM "MYAPP" Note: this doesn't format properly in the posting. I replace the colon with a html br
This works, but seems to be a hack to me. I am guessing that I've missed a simple option setting somewhere, but I can't find it.
The other problem with this solution is that when I export the report to Excel, what is exported is Dog Cat Bird, which is seems worse than colons.

Hi Morgan,
I think you have at least two choices:
1 - Replace the colons with ', ' (comma and space) - sort of reasonable on screen and in an export
2 - Create a second page that has the same report but uses the "export: csv" template. Create a manual link to this page to replace the standard Export link. When such report pages are requested, they download immediately instead of displaying. You can, therefore, use commas in this one and tags in the on-screen report version

I have a requirement.
I have product column, sell, purchace prices..(total of three columns) in a data set.
my data set is such a way that..if sale price exists...there is no purchase price and vice versa..
I need too present in a report ,two tables:
table 1 consists of only Sale price items
table 2 should contain only Pruchase Items.
Please see the below picture for clear understanding..

I have an adf application jspx page where I need to display list of Sectors in a list box and on selection of a sector corresponding Departments will get displayed as golinks.
I am using af:selectOneChoice where I am displaying Sector Lists.

The problem is when I am selecting one Sector, I am getting the corresponding Departments inside the managedbean but the Department links are not reflecting in my page.

it is a nice JCalendar with lot of options. Also it is working. You can download the JAR file and use it in ur program.
From this component, you can read out the Date value and then set the text of JTextFiled using this value.

What I would like to do is as follows:
I have a fantasy hockey league website. For each team I have
a team page (clubhouse) which is generated using PHP/MySQL. The one
area I would like to clean up is the displaying of the divisional
standings on the right side. As of right now, I use a URL variable
(division = id2) to grab the needed data, which works ok. What I
want to do is clean up the url abit.
So far the url is
clubhouse.php?team=Wings&id=DET&id2=Pacific, in the end all
I want is clubhouse.php?team=Wings.
I have a separate table, that has the teams entire
information (full team name, short team, abbreviation, conference,
division, etc. so I was thinking if I could somehow do this:
Recordset Team Info is filtered using URL variable team
(short team). Based on what team equals, it would then insert this
variable into the Divisional Standings recordset.
So example: If I type in clubhouse.php?team=Wings, the Team
Info recordset would bring up the Pacific division. Then 'Pacific'
would be inserted into the Divisional Standings recordset to
display the Pacific Division Standings.
Basically I want this
SELECT *
FROM standings
WHERE division = <teaminfo.division>
ORDER BY pts DESC

Assuming two tables- teamtable and standings:
teamtable - which has entire info about the team and has a
field called
"div" which has the division name say "pacific" and you want
to use this
name to get corresponding details from the other table.
standings - which has a field called "division" which you
want to use to
give the standings
SELECT * FROM standings AS st, teamtable AS t
WHERE st.division = t.div
ORDER BY pts DESC
Instead of * you could be specific on what fields you want to
select ..
something like
SELECT st.id AS id, st.position AS position, st.teamname AS
team

How to restrict a table with its set of data based on a column value in it?

Hi,
I have a scenario in which I have to show a set of data of a pivot table by restricting data based on a column value. I am creating BIP report whose source is from BIA ie.RPD. Based on a column value I want to restrict the data being displayed in the table. Since I also want the hidden data in the first table to be displayed in another table in the same report I cannot restrict the data at the query level i.e at RPD or at BIA. For this reason I used
<?xdofx:if saw3_ = 1?>
the pivot table
<?end if?>
But it does not restrict any data.
Also I tried using the if condition inside the table before the row level looping happens. But no good show even then.
How can I forgo this problem?

How to filter the Rest Api data based on Taxanomy columns

Hi Everyone,
We are using SharePoint2010 Standard Edition.
I wanted get the library details through REST Api. I am using as below:
https://SiteUrl/_vti_bin/listdata.svc/Documents?$filter=Title eq 'SharePointDoc'
Here I am able to get the info regarding "SharePointDoc". But when I am trying to get the details from Taxonomy filter, it didn't.
Can anyone please tell me how can we filter based on Taxanomy fields.

Hi,
I understand that you wanted to filter the Rest Api data based on Taxanomy columns.
Per my knowledge, in SharePoint 2010 , not all types of column are available via REST, most annoyingly managed metadata columns are amongst this group of unsupported column types.
However, in SharePoint 2013, we can filter list items based on taxonomy (managed metadata) columns.
Taxonomy fields can be now called via REST API using CAML query in REST calls.

I have the table data like this.
type quantity revenue_mny count country

I woulkd like to split the date based on type column.
For each country, for Type "a" get the sum of revenue count quanity ans same for b
and all shuld come in on row for each country.
output should be like
country revenue_mny(For a) quantity(for a) count(For a) revenue_mny(for b) quantity(for b) count(For b)
India 22 30 5 15 30 1
US 20 35 2 25 80 2
I tried the below query . its not splittng the date for each country in one row.

How to display data elements in the tempalte header

Hello friends
i've this date_from and date_to parameters which are date parameters that user enters..
based on these date parameters I want to display them in the header as
day of date_from(for example if the date_from is 13-nov-2010.then I should display 13)and for date_to it should dispaly as 15 if for example the user enters
16-nov-2010.(date-1's day)
so it should break down to
date_from-13-nov-2010, 13
date_to- 16-nov-2010, 15
I want these two values to be displayed in the header of the template how to do this
pls help
also let me know how to display data elements in the template header

The above is my table which is having three columns MinValue, MaxValue, Desc. First two columns have data and I need to update the 3rd column 'Desc' based on two columns data.
I need to update like,
when MinValue=-1 and MaxValue=-1 then 'NotSpecified'
when MinValue=-1 and MaxValue=1 then 'Up to 1'
when MinValue=-1 and MaxValue=2 then 'Upto 2'
when MinValue=0 and MaxValue=1 then 'At lest 1'
when MinValue=0 and MaxValue=2 then 'At least 2'
when MinValue=0 and MaxValue=3 then 'At least 3'
The data in 'MaxValue' is like 1,2,3,4,5...50. So for each description it should append this value as mentioned above(till 'Up to 50', 'At least 50'). How can I do this with case statement?

Hi,
While creating Dash Board prompt choose the control to 'Calendar'.
I think it is not possible to provide 'Calendar' control using Prompts tab while creating request.
It is possible to write Java Script for a Column of data type 'char'. So, cast the date data type to char.
Go to: Column Properties --> Data Format
Choose override default data format to view the available options in the drop down list.
I would be very happy if anybody acknowledge me that I am wrong.

Sorting based on two columns in report

Hi,
we have one issue on sorting based on two columns in report.
In the report we are doing sorting on two columns(week_id and stage_name). I have attached the screen shot for the same. The sorting is first done on the week_id and then on the stage_name. The issue comes when we have no data for the stage 1 - Prospect in W1. The stage goes to the second position.
Please suggest if there is any work around to show the 1 - Prospect stage in W1.
