How to display Header Texts that you find in Sales Order and Billing Doc..

Hi,
I am having some problems accessing the text that is typed in the Header Texts area of the Sales Order and Billing. To access the Header Text you should first trigger the Sales Order (VA02) then once in the Sales Order Click Goto -> Header -> Texts. The same follows to the Billing.
I need to extract what is typed here on to a report. First of all I cant figure out which table is used to save this information. I am suspecting that this information is encoded and stored in a table. To display this I may need to decode it.
Is there some one who could help me to archive this please!!!

Hi Kishan,
The texts you find in all SAP Object, like orders, invoice, materials, ... can be extract with FM 'READ_TEXT'.
To know the parameters of the FM, you 'll have to go to the text ( in plain page mode ), then you do "GOTO" -> "HEADER", and a pop-up window opens with the parameters you need ( Text name, language, text id, text object ).
The table "t_tdline" contains the entire text .

My requirement is that I get and modify the header text in user exit when creating a sales order. In the user exit I'll do some validation and put the error code into header text. But I can't use function 'READ_TEXT' to get header text since the text has not been updated into database.

Use the following internal tables. These internal tables are declared in include <b>THEADDAT</b>. THEADDAT is an include of <b>MV45ATOP</b>.

If the Quotation header text has to be copied into the sales order then while configuring text determination , make sure that you are Configuring sales document at header level two times and .First time you configure for quotation and second time you do for sales order and while doing for sales order you assign a sales order and assign a the text id that has been used for quotation .then your problem will be solved

I have a requirement in Pricing (Sales and Distribution). We have issue duplicated condition types in Sales order and it causes wrong posting in to accounts.
I want make them inactive duplicated Condition type in Sales order and Billing Documents.

You can use Exclusion Group
You can define 2 Groups and include 1 condition type in each
and define exlusion procedure
A   Best condition between condition types
B   Best condition within the condition type
C   Best condition between the two exclusion groups
D   Exclusive
E   Least favorable within the condition type
F   Least favorable betweent the two exclusion groups
you can use Exclusive to set your condition type or as per your requirement

How to know the excess stock with in a sales order and line item

Hi,
i am running an MRP against a sales order and sales order line item. the materials are getting planned based on the requirement. but due to some reasons the production orders are confirmed with out consumption of the actual required quantity of the components. so the stock is kept ideal in the sales order though it is not required further.
do to some othere reasons also the excess stock of componenets exist. the PR or POs may also exist for the materials though they are not required further.
i am in need of a report for the excess stock or excess PR or Purchase order for a sales order.
please give me logic to find the excess things in that sales order and sales order line item. the Expensional message 26 is there in stock requirement list . but it does not give the excess quantity existing.

How to change the sequence that VL10 use for sales order during DN creation

We are using VL10 for DN creation , VL10 is executed in background as a batch job ..... we have created a variant and have given range of shipping points for which we want to create the Deliveries.
What we want to understand is that how SAP standard code for VL10, sorts the sales orders for which the delivery are to be created using VL10?
we would like VL10 to process the sales order which belong to same shipping point in some order....so that delivery needs to be created for the first sales order rather than last sales order for a given shipping point....
Is there any sort order that SAP follows to pick which order it will consider for delivery creation ....first over the other sales order where the shipping happens to be same ? if yes then is there any way we can change it ?

We are facing the same problem and are running at 4.7.
There are orders with the same goods issue date and if so, it should be sorted by order no.
Nevertheless, it does not sort it by order no but we could not find yet what the sort criteria is if it runs in the background and how to change these rules.

Just to add to Pauls reply, along with output determination settings, When you would create the partner profile outbound parameters, use the Message type ORDRSP for order acknowledgement.

How do I get the line number of the sales order and how do I save info?

I am trying to create a form that is able to be called from a right click on the sales order matrix and will display some of the user defined fields associated with the line.
I've managed to create a form and add a menu option to the right click but I'm now stuck because of the following:
1. How to I know which line the user selected? I need the REAL Line Number from the RDR1 table because I need to use it on the data filter of the form.
2. I hard coded a line to just to see if I can load a form and it appears to load and bind the data to the controls, but how do I save changes made? There are several text fields, combo boxes, and a picture control.

1. The pVal returned form a menu event does no provide the LineId, but a pVal from a Item Event does. I suggest you use a DoubleClick or Control + Click on the Line to trigger an event that you can catch and use to launch your form.
2. Please note that if the Sales Order line is closed you'll not be able to update the values. If it's not, then you need to instantiate a Sales Order document, get the correct document with the GetByKey method and update whatever fields you need.

Text messages not copied from sales order to billing

Text messages which have been given in sales order are not copied to billing. Two of the text are copied and the other two are not getting copied. Checked the access sequence.. everything is correct.
Please give a clue.

These are basic settings to copy the Text from sales order to Invoice so please check in these areas,
First you need to copy the sales order text to the delivery document from the delivery document you can copy the text to the billing document.
To copy the sales order text to the delivery document
You do the text determination for the deliveries also,define and maintain same TextId in the delivery header text procedure ,maintain the access sequence ,in the delivery text procedure access sequence you put the Text Object as VBBK for that Text ID.
Make sure that you have assigned access sequence for your missed Text ID's in VOTXN transaction
To copy the delivery text to the invoice.
You do the text determination for the billing document,define and maintain same TextId in the billing document text procedure and maintain the access sequence,after that
Go to VOFA transaction then selct billing document type then go in to the details screen here you do the check in the Delivery Text check Box (Top most bottom of the screen.)
Now you can able to copy the sales order text to the invoice.
Use VOTXN transaction for Text determinetion

In "OVBP" T.code,you can find the billing plan assigned to a sales order.
The path is:
SPRO>Sales and Distribution>Billing>Billing Plan>Assign the billing plan type to the sales order.
In two ways we can assign this billing plan to order.
One is the above mentioned one.
Another one is to assign the billing plan type to the item category using the T.Code "OVBR".

Can you help?
I have located extractors 2LIS_13_VDITM and 2LIS_13_VDHDR for Billing. I have located extractors 2LIS_11_VAITM and 2LIS_11_VAHDR for Sales Orders.
I need to combine the data for these 2 extractors for my reporting requirements.
My problem is:
In 2LIS_13_VDITM, we have the Sales Order number and Billing number.
2LIS_13_VDHDR has only Billing number.
2LIS_11_VAITM and 2LIS_11_VAHDR has only the Order number.
Can you advise how they can be combined so I have a DSO that contains all this data?
Any help would be appreciated and points assigned accordingly.

I would suggest you to have a separate data targets for each of them and then combine everything using a MultiProvider.

After going back and forth between Apple, AT&T and the police (all telling me to go to the other two) I took AT&Ts suggestion and got a new number. One tech warned against doing a backup, especially on my Mac, saying if my phone had been hacked then whatever bug was there would then invade my computer. But nobody knows how to determine if the phone has been hacked or a virus was planted there. Unfortunately I know who would have reason to do such a thing and all I can say is that he is at the top technologically and could easily do it. Almost impossible to prove, however.
So I need to preserve my text messages and my emails as well. I backed up my photos to that Microsoft product (One-Drive) and it froze (Surprise, Surprise) with four short videos to go, and no way of stopping that (when I tried it crashed repeatedly) so I'm in crisis mode here.

Betty I don't know if you fixed your hacking problem but I feel your pain. I've seen some strange things going on between my iMac and my iPhone and Apple has told me the same thing, call the police which I have done. The hackers have stole 500.00 out of my checking account have access to every internet account I use and no matter how often I change the password their right back on the account. I closed my FB account 3 times only to have someone reopen it. Right now I've got a link in my reading list (Safari) that if I click on it, it allows me to log onto my FB account anonymously.
I've seen a green folder come out of no where while I was trying to delete my passwords out of keychain when that green folder was put into the key chain I was immediately locked out. I than went into system preferences to try to make changes to my security settings, when I clicked on the icon it wouldn't open. I've seen log files of automator receiving commands and sending out my personal information thats on my computer.
I have a legitamate program called iExplorer that allows you to look at the contents of your iPhone back ups and saw a transaction someone made at the Apple store for some full length movies, some albums, ibooks and other apps but when I called the iTunes store and they said none of those items were showing up on my account. If their not on my account how can they be on my iPhone 6? One day someone was using my gmail account and unknowingly used google maps to search for an Italian restaurant, than a Mexican restaurant than a coffee shop and their search showed up on my iPhone but I didn't have my gmail account installed on my iPhone 6. Using my computer I logged onto my gmail account and looked at the maps history and sure enough there were the searches when I'd hover my curser over the link it gave me the longitude and latitude of the where the hacker was when he was using google maps. I know whoever reads this thinks Im crazy but I've documented everything and can prove the things that I have mentioned in this post actually happened.
One day I had my laptop (pc) and my iMac next to each other as I was using both. when I clicked on airport it showed that my laptop and my iMac had made a connection and were actually communicating with each other. I know I didn't do it I don't know how. The iMac was logged into my iCloud account while my laptop wasn't. I have formatted my iPhone at least a dozen times, Apple and an Apple retailer have formatted my hard drive not to mention the numerous times I have formatted it but the hackers keep getting on my devices. Im formatting my lap top at this very second because during the course of the night I left the ethernet cable plugged into it and they locked me out of my c: drive, and configured the system so I can't download any updates from Microsoft, overtime I type in www.microsoft.com it changes to ww38.microsoft.com which takes me to a blank page. I right clicked on the page I was redirected to and read the java script and couldn't believe that someone had actually configured Internet Explorer to redirect me to a blank page when I tried to go to Microsoft. Apples answer to all this is there was nothing wrong with my iPhone or my iMac and if I thought there was a problem to call the police which I have done.
Theres no doubt the hackers are reading this while I type it or will read it and I simply don't care anymore. I no longer email anyone, don't use my iCloud account and have taken precautions to protect my credit but if I ever find out who has invaded my privacy to this extreme the police are going to want to talk to me because Im going to hurt them like they've never been hurt before

With the help of ABAPer, you can include the simple logic on the basis of Header Text type such that whenever any changes are incurred on the Sales Order header text, updates would be prevented.

U can used this attributes in read_text function mdule also.
