How to display image on the welcome page of a workset.

Hello Experts,
I have company image in KM docs.
MasterRole on top level navigation.
Then I have subrole.
When I click on the sub role. It directly open the first iview contained in the workset.
Here, I want to display a imagelike a welcome image instead of the first iview.
The user can navigate to his choice of view after seeing this image. can any post a document on how to do it?
I am on EP 7.0 portal.

Thanks for information on workset mpa iview. But, at our client. They have assigned Iview directly to a role.
Also, I have created the KM iview as url iview . When I preview it, it works fine.
I have added that iview to the folde runder the role where i want this iview to show up as entry point.
I changed the properties invisible in navigation (yes) and set as entry point (yes).
But, it is giving me the following error. Page can not be found and in logs
Meta name for property
ID cop:cop_search_resourcetype can not be created.
No namespace mapping for the given namespace alias.
Null will be returned!

How to display links in the main page

Here is a simple question from an EP beginner-
I am working on a demo EP site for our company (EP 6.0 SP9). After the user logs onto the Portal, I want to display a main page with standard Header and Nav bars, and then (in the inner page?) display a list of links to iViews. The iViews are SAP transaction iViews and url iViews, most of which I have already created and they work fine in preview mode.
The question is, how to I modify the main page to display the links and maybe a company logo? Is this an addition to the framework page or something completely different? In a previous life I created ASP/HTML/javascript pages so coding would not be a problem.

Hi Alan,
If u want to display the iviews to a user you want to create roles.
First Create all the required iviews,then create pages. Add the iviews to the page. Create workset and add page to the work set. Then create roles and add the workset to the roles. Dont forget to set the Entry point property of role to YES.
Go to User admin>> select the user to whom u want to show the iviews and assign the role u created to the user.
Then log in as that user. The iviews will be displayed to the user.

The image is in the DB ,right..Its in Binary format..
See first we want the picture to be get uploaded inside the SAP.It is done by se78..
If possible we can retrieve the picture outside in a place means we can get tht into sap by using
Call Transaction 'SE78'.

are you sure that map actually contains the image?
try using
ImageIcon ii = ImageIcon(String name);
map = ii.getImage();I saw a tutorial on images i think on sun

You can put an HTML region on your page and then use img tags to display it....How are your images in the database? are they image.gif? or?
Since your images are in a table, you could do some sql...
select '(img src="server:port/dir/dir/' || IMG || '" alt="image"/)'
from table
where
Remember to replace the ( with < and ) with >

Does anyone know how to display (in LabVIEW) the memory use during execution of an image and data acquisition VI to predict when it is time to cease the acquisition to prevent the program crashing?
I am acquiring images and data to a buffer on the edge of the while loop, and am finding that the crashing of the program is unpredictable, but almost always due to a memory saturation when the buffers gets too big.
I have attached the VI.

You may have moved or removed content on your page or its possible you used the"Adjust Image" and over sharpeed one or more images.
I assume you mean it does not show up of new Chapter pages... have you checked the template?
Where you see the ? you need to either reduce teh box outline size - or drop anther copy of the original image onto it, it may fill the ? box or sit on top.... delete the ? box.
If its Chapter page only related, its better doing this in the template.
Is you image .jpg or .png?

Hello there!
Here is one way to create a duplicate image and colorize it. As you can see below, I have one image right now, that I want to duplicate.
My layers panel looks like below.
To duplicate your image, click the downward arrow on the right side of your Layer Panel.
Select Duplicate Layer. This will duplicate the layer that the image is on.
Select "OK" to approve the duplication.
As you can now see in the Layers panel, the image is duplicated. The new layer is now at the top of the Layer panel.
Now to colorize your image, go to Window > Adjustments.
The Adjustments panel will now be opened. Select the Hue and Saturation icon as seen circled in red.
The Hue and Saturation propertied panel will be opened. I selected "Colorize", and adjusted the hue and saturation bar to achieve the level red in my photo.
As you can see below, the image is now red.
Now i want to make sure only ONE of my image layers is red. I moved the Hue and Saturation layer to only be on top of the bottom layer. The image on the top layer now will not be affected by the red.
Select the move tool, so I can now move the image layers so we can see both of them.
With each image layer selected, you can take the move tool and move the images. I moved mine on top of eachother and you can see my red layer (bottom) and the non red layer (top).

It's not an option in the prefs. It's a hidden file that makes up part of the preference set (as far as I know, most, or all of the seetings you can adjust inside ID's prefences dialog are actually saved in the other half of the set, InDesign Defaults). How do you link a button to a image on the same page?

I created a photoshop button and pulled it into my Muse website, and I want to link it to an image on the same page. I have a slide show set up, and this way I could have a secondary menu with buttons corresponding to each image in the slideshow. I can only find the option to link the button to another page, or link it to an external website. Help!

However, "Hero Image" as show in screen shot provided in above reply, is a container which shows the edited part of the complete image : check : http://projectuni01.businesscatalyst.com/screenshots/2013-02-16_0217.png
So in this case, In slideshows, the links are actually get applied on Hero image or on the slideshow containers.
