I am doing a demo software of HP33120.In this case,I will display the number and unit in LED form according to the real instrument.I don't know how to do it ,please help me.Thanks.

The simplest way to do this, is to download the "7 segment font" from the following link.
Creating your own customized indicator is also an option, but far more time demanding.

How to display different Time Statement forms in ITS service PZ04

Hi all,
I am working on a underlyinge R/3 4.7 system and are working with standalone ITS and ESS 50.4. I am posting this question to find out if any of you has experience with my problem.
The business wishes to use the ITS transation PZ04 standard and wish to be able to display different Time Statement forms in the transaction through customized variants for the report(RPTEDT00) that the PZ04 transaction executes. In the IMG it is posted that one variant has to be created called HRESS_TEDT00 and this works, but restricts the PZ04 transaction to always be called with this variant and therebye the same Time Statement form every time.
I then by debugging found that the underlying ABAP code processed from SAP standard has a variable VARIANT that is hardcode to = HRESS_TEDT00.
The question is: Is there anyway to setup the PZ04 transaction so that it can be dynamic decided which variant should be used, f.ex. from persons subarea from infotype 0001?
Looking forward to here if anybody can help.

I spent several overnights and later realized that the edit that would activate the download link is not in the SOURCE category but rather in the SETTINGS with 11g edition. When I changed the setting I had it perfectly. Thanks so much to all of you. I really enjoy the Apex Forum though I am new in Oracle.
Howbeit; what should I do to have the picture always displayed on the form so that whenever the particular form is opened the image would be seen? Looking forward for the solution.

Hello,
thtis is not how it works. You don´t use this coding to display the form in WD. In fact WD is handling the form itself. If that is a print form, you just need to place the Interactive form element on your WD screen, specify the template source (the form template) and do the coding in WD init. And there is no problem if the form is SFP based.
If this one is an interactive one, you need to set enable to true and do NOT use SFP based template. Also use the right form elements according to your layout type (ACF, ZCI), for ZCI insert the WD script.
I can provide some more details if there will be any other problem/ detail.

If you're fine with opening html file in a separate browser window, you can use web.show_document.

I am a new learning database developer/programmer. I am proud to use Oracle Application Express 11.2. I have succeeded creating a table, a form and report on the table. I have used Blob as data-type for the Photo column. The browse link locates the picture folder directory, but it does not display on the form. As I said; I am very new in database developing and also using Oracle. Please help me in how I can display image on my database. What should I do? Which property category should I do the settings and with what code?

To get the Database date in a select statement use the SYSDATE pseudo in a select statement.

what forms-version?
what exactly do you mean with grid? Do you have a special ready-made component you want to use ? Do you have any functional requirements for your grid?
For a "normal" data grid, you could just layout your data in tabular way, perhaps with a stacked canvas, to have a scrollable area to the right

How to display iconic images using forms 9i

i had created a simple push button ,and made its properties iconic=yes and icon file name =c:\temp\save
i had copied the save.GIF file in the c:\temp path
also i had made necessary changes in the orion.web file
and registry.dat
actually i had the metalink document 203846.1 and followed all the step written in that doc.
but then also during run time i am not able to see the icons.
Can you give me a sample code having only one push button
and all the changes in different files to make the icons appear in web.
I had tried all the steps so pl give me the sample step by step code.

Hi Kumar,
I think if you follow the oracle note 203846.1 more or less it should be fine. I took a little exception on step 7 which requires modifying the registry.dat file.
I ignored the step 7, try this in forms builder for button property
1) icon filename=save
2) create jar file for icons under c:\temp directory, using the command
C:\Temp>jar -cvf icons.jar *.gif
please note that file save.GIF should be save.gif since java is case sensitive.
3) modify the following entries in file <9iDS_HOME>\forms90\server\formsweb.cfg
archive_jini=f90all_jinit.jar,/forms90/icons/icons.jar
imageBase=codebase
so this should help in your test form to display icon at runtime.

How to display an image in FORM 10g/11g data recovered through Web Services

I need to show in a FORM 10g/11g an image that is recovered from a Web Service (XML format).
(The Web Service retrieves several images from SQL Server database).
versions previous 6i... one use field type ActiveX Control, and there showed the respective images, even with previous and next controls. Aspect that new versions of form 10g & 11g is obsolete.

I tried it doing it this way and it worked -
1. copy the image into the directory aliased in 9iAS configuration file as '/images/'.
2. In the PL/SQL code section after header, I write the following code -

How to display grid the interactive form

Dear All
I m trying to print the grid into the interactive form using adobe life cycle 8.1.
My requirement is like I am getting the value in my local node in the view. From there i have to populate those value into the Pdf.
So that user can take the print of the pdf.
Value are getting in local. But it is not showing in the PDF. At the same time in other value are showing success fully only inthe table i am not able to get the value.

Hi Prashant,
For populating a table on a pdf the node structure should be different.
You need to create node structure of the data which you want to show in Table like this
DataNode            0..n
    SubNode         1..1
          att1
          att2
Create the elements of DataNode only and set the attribute values.
Now create the structure of the UI element in Form like this
Subform1
        Subform2
               Header1
               Header2
        Subform3
               Textfield1
               Textfield2
Bind the Subform3 to the node DataNode and Textfield1 and Textfield2 to att1 and att2 respectively.
Set the 'Repeat Subform to each data Item* property of Subform3 to true.
Now at runtime you will get all the data of the node in PDF form as a Table.

How to display row number in form?

First I fll you in on the story so far..
I have a database data block named :V_PAYUPLOADHEADER_HP, in the property palette I set order by facility and warehouse.
I want to display row number for each fetched record, so I make :V_PAYUPLOADHEADER_HP.NUMB, which will contain the row number.
The following is some methods that I already tried:
- First I tried to make this field a database item=Y , column name = ROWNUM.
The result is the number jump around (3, 1, 2, 5, 4 etc. instead of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) I think it is because of the order by that I set.
I have to keep this order by setting, so I look for another way to display the rownum.
- Next I tried to set database item = N, column name = null, calculation mode = formula, formula = :system.trigger_record.
When I run it all the value of :V_PAYUPLOADHEADER_HP.NUMB is 1. For all the records fetched is 1, 1, 1, 1 instead of 1, 2, 3, 4.
- I also tried using POST-QUERY trigger attached to the block.
In the trigger I have this code:
:V_PAYUPLOADHEADER_HP.NUMB := :system.cursor_record;
When I run it all the value of :V_PAYUPLOADHEADER_HP.NUMB is 1. For all the records fetched is 1, 1, 1, 1 instead of 1, 2, 3, 4..
Is there something that I missed?

You can achieve this by adding new item named 'ROWNUM'. in the Data Block you are working on.
And it's 'BASE TABLE ITEM' property needs to be set as TRUE'. IN the property ,IN the post-query Trigger use...
