My application uses Crystal Report to generate reports (print function and PDF file). In fact my application only use the class "ReportClass".
My application was developped with Crystal Report 9.
Now, I am trying to use Crystal Report 11.
Up to now, the size of my application was about 11 MB. My problem is that using Crystal Report 11 I don't succeed to create an installation routine with a such size. I don't want an installation routine > 15 MB. How to do it ?
In my application (.net) I have the references to the following assemblies:
CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine
CrystalDecisions.ReportSource
CrystalDecisions.Shared
CrystalDecisions.Windows.Forms
Are there any "light" merge modules which allow to use only the class "ClassReport" ?

To reset Mail completely, simply delete (or move) everything in ~/Users/YOURUSERNAME/Library/Mail/
You might try rebuilding your mailboxes. To do so, launch Mail, choose "MailBox" and then "Rebuild." You can also force Mail to do this manually by going to the same location above and deleting the "Envelope Index" files.
Be careful: if your email account is set to use POP3, it's likely that the only place your email exists is on your Mac. You should, if possible, switch to using IMAP access for email. That will ensure that your email always stays on the server, which will prevent loss in case of disaster with your personal computer.

If by "map" you mean directory or folder, in the Library menu there is a toggle for "show photos in subfolders".

URGENT: How to fix an application with the screen resolution?

HI everyone,
I am desprate and need help.. I have developed an application with Java swing and awt (JFrames, JPanels and...). This application displays perfectly with 1280 x 1024 screen resolution but in a situation where the screen does not support this resolution, a part of my application will not appear. I can not even scroll down to see the reste of the components. Does any one has any idea that how I can resolve this problem! I mean how either I can make my JFrame or panel to scroll down or to change the size of the components according to the resolution!

One of the possible reason of the problem is you must have hardcoded the size of panels and other container that is just right for the screen resolution 1280 x 1024.
The solution is set the size of the containers that depends on the resolution of the screen.
You have not explained much detail about the scrolling problem. But I suppose that you have a scrollpane in you GUI and you want to scroll the component inside it even at another resolution.
try using this
if p is the panel that is added in the scrollpane then set its prefered size.
p.setPreferredSize(resolution dependant size).

I created a LabVIEW web development community group and wrote some tutorials to teach the basics of creating web clients using HTML, Javascript, and AJAX. The idea is that LabVIEW users without any web background can quickly look at some tutorials and examples to get started on their own projects.

A great idea! I recently presented at a local user group meeting about my WebSockets API (see the links in my signature). I've uploaded the presentation and the demo code I gave to our UG here.
I think the barrier to entry is with needing to know the web languages (e.g. html/css/js) as well as writing your LabVIEW code. I have joined the group and look forward to seeing some interesting content on there! Certainly some demos of using AJAX to make requests to Web Services and do something with the data (e.g. display on a graph) would be a good place to start.

How to download creative suite with the serial number

I have the discs from when I purchased creative suite 3. The serial number is registered to me. I recently bought a macbook pro. I would like to get my creative suite over to the new computer. Any suggestions on how to do that?

Just install the application from the discs and use the serial number to activate. You are allowed to have two machines with activated installations if you wish to keep both working. If you wish to free up the extra activation then open an application on the old machine and choose Help -> Deactivate.

No, The SN will only help identify the iPod as yours if it is replaced.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.
- Apple will do nothing without a court order

does anyone have any idea on how to start an application with a login window? a login window is the first frame or window to be displayed when an application starts running. and only correct login id and password have been entered the real application will start. any sample out there? thank you.

You can start a new thread by making a thread object and passing it an implementation of a runnable object. Runnable has just one method, public void run(), this is was gets executed in a second thread. perhaps the code you would use would look something like this.

When deploying ADF applications with database connection, you should be using JDBC data sources configured in the weblogic server.
You could change the JDBC data sources to a different DB instance or location - by changing the JDBC data source and restarting the weblogic server.

How to Deploy J2ME applications with data in RMS?

I am designing a J2ME application, a simple "Who wants to be a millionaire game". It stores questions and answers from a rms datastore. I want to to how can I deploy this application with questions and answers in the recordstore. Each time I run the emulator, the data stored previously gets deleted. Is it possible to attach the rms recordstore along with the .jar or .jad files? If so how can I do it. Please help.

Thank you Sypress.. When I install it the code works fine. But I wanted to include data with the application. I think I found a way way. I added the data in a text file and while starting the application I inserted data from the file into the recordstore.

Distributing test applications over the web

Hey folks,
I was wondering if anyone knows how to distribute an app over the web without going through the apple store. I'm currently developing an app and I want some close friends to test it. It's quite tedious meeting up with every one of them, obtaining a ticket for their phone, and signing my app onto their Iphones. Is there a way to create an "ISO" and let them install it onto their phone through Itunes?
