A big hello once again to all the forum cotributers. I think its a great colaboration you're all doing here and I'm really thankful. THIS FORUM ROCKS!!!!
This is my question of today:
I'',m making a program that uses mysql for its data and I'm going to start installing this program in many computers. It's really boring for me have to do a mysql fresh installation in every computer and then go to the source code and configure the tables, and build the proyect each time... Is there any simple way to merge the mysql server with my java program in a single installation?

You can always create scipts to facilitate your tasks. However, that will depend on what already exists on a given user's machine.
Perhaps a better option would be to create a CD or flash drive that has an image of all the files and configuration that are needed for a given deploy. At the very least, you should be able to take a "fresh" copy of your database (e.g., after you applied your normal changes but prior to any data being entered by users) and simply copy it to a user's computer.
Though, if you have a number of users all using MySQL, why don't you simply install it on a single machine available on the network? Why does each users need his or her own copy of a full-blown MySQL installation? If users have user-specific data, you can accommodate this requirement with your data model rather than deploying to each client machine. If your users need the ability to work offline, again, you do not need MySQL per se, but rather the use of something like RowSet or or ther data sources that operate disconnected. Synchronizing offline data with the real database is not trivial, but the payoff can certainly be worth it.

Hello Gurus
How do I configure or start working on portals which is installed as part of BI 7.0 installation that is EP and EP Core(Includes BI-JAVA and ABAP Stacks).
Please help me out with possible guidance(if possible Step by Step procedure) how to set up the parameters and at which locations in BI.. I have kept couple of days exploring this site, but I couldnt fine one answer relating.
More over the answers I could find was "To configure technical content, business content and bi admin cockpit," Any help or suggestion provided is grealy appreciated and points will be awarded accrodingly.

Step. I would be using the latest Apache Server download, which

answer ASAP.... Please also provide info on what folders to point
the system to when configuring; in the version I provided it is
rather hard to figure out what folders to use. Right now the way I
did it does not work and I cannot see the administration page when
the Apache Server is Running. Should the Apache Server be Running
while installing? Also I noticed after the first install of Cold
Fusion there is another step for full configuration where you have
to go to the local host page for further configuration. What do you
have to do there? I couldn't even get to that page because I
couldn't access the admin page after I did the installation. Any

I cannot get automounting of AFP Share points to work at all. Not surprisingly, since it seems almost impossible to get even basic SLS services working at all.
Is there anywhere a simple step-by-step to enable auto mounting of afp share points on server "my server" for user xyzzy?
There are many, many discussions on the subject all over this board. I (think) I have read them all and tried all the suggestions, including examining the detailed OD records in WGM.
What would be helpful for me is a simple:
1. Load WGM
2. Load SA and Share a drive like this:
     a. Select Volumes...do this...
     b. Select Share points...do this...
     c. Permissions...
     etc.....
Also, is there a magic incantation and/or ancient SNS ritual I need to perform? There is a local voodoo shop in my area and would gladly purchase required eye-of-lizard... etc...

Perhaps it is misplaced expectations with regard to what I would expect to see. The network/server I'm working with is in my own private sandbox, primarily so that I can learn how to manage an Apple server, but also to support my personal and business needs as well.
From the personal aspect here is how I would expect it to work:
My Aperture photo library resides on a share of my server. The sub-folder where it is saved in on a volume called Media. I have several shares located on that volume; Aperture, iTunes, etc...
When I log into my network from my MBP (10.6 client) and plug in my iPhone, invariably Aperture loads always asking to locate my Aperture Library. My goal would then be that as soon as I'm logged in, the folder would be mounted, and Aperture would always load with me having to connect to the drive.
So that's the context. I have only Macs, and I don't intend to have any WIndows boxes, but will have an CentOS installation to host an Oracle server.
I followed your advice exactly for a managed setting using WGM, with the exception that I did not add the shares to the Login Items of my local account, which, to my thinking, would defeat the purpose of having a managed share. My UN/PW for the local and networked users are identical, and I've already successfully bound my account to this computer, using my Network account creds.
The computer has other "test" users on it as well. I'm not using Authenticate Binding, so perhaps that's the issue, because it appears that there is only one binding per computer. I will try that next.
I do understand the difference between public/private DNS and c&p'd both changeip and dig outputs here:

Anyway, the suggestion you gave did not work, perhaps because of the binding method or DNS really isn't working.

There is a trustsec 2.1 how to guide on cisco's website. There is also a TrustSec 2.0 ISE Guide floating around that has step by step instructions for setting up ISE 1.0.4. Which is still pretty accurate for the 1.1.1 guide. But if you go through the below site it should give you all the info you need.

Which operating system? Cloud or disk version or download version?
Any error messages? what do they say?
Download or disk: It should be a case of double click the installer, enter your serial and let the installer finish.

well if you want replace your vista i recomend not to do it if you not pretty good and comfortable with os instaling because winxp installation is nothing hard the crazy hard part is setup all the hardware to work properly ...
i have A210-16f (can be purchased only in czech or slovak republic.) and i install the winxp a month ago and i still have problems FN keys still not working , touch pad is working onli halfway ( meaning it only points and move the cursor but all the other funcions of it still in dark)

if you want to use OID with an existing DB you have to create the metadata repository (within your 10.2 DB) first using repCA,
(see Oracle Application Server Repository Creation Assistant User's Guides

then use the AS10gR2 installer to install OID into this existing metadata repository. Check use existing meta data repository during the infrastructure installation.

Recovery installation is very simply.
# Switch your notebook ON and press F12 several times
# When the boot menu is shown put installations disc 1 in optical disc drive
# In boot menu choose CD/DVD and press ENTER
# When the Toshiba Recovery Window is shown just click on next
# On next step Summary should be shown > confirm with next
Recovery installation should start. Just follow menu on the screen and put next installation disc when necessary. Please try this and I hope everything will be OK.

Route66 Mobile 7 on a CD
and a Powermac
So have to drag the Route66 software to the Micro SD
I tryed and tryed, but never the Route66 icon appears in my e65

Unfortunately on the CD case it says that one of the requirements is to have a PC to install this product. There is no reference to it being Mac compatible. The installer opens under Windows and formats memory card prior to installing application on memory card.
