How to do name personalization in Dw CS6?

Question

I'm trying to figure out what's the html code to do name personalization so when someone open up an email, it shows both their First and Last names. I'm not only trying to figure out what the code is, but how to use it as well. Attached is an example of what I'm trying to replicate. Below is an example & a download link to see what I'm talking about. At the top where it says first name.

You would need to set up a database of names which can be retreived and looped through as the email is sent out.
I do this with php. Basicially what you do is insert the html code between a $message variable in a php loop. The loop fetches each email address and name from the database and sends it out. Loop example below: The $email_address variable is populated by the email_address field from the database and the personalisation is the $name variable sourced from the database name field which is then inserted in the actual html itself.
