How to download Intel instead of PowerPC
I just downloaded Premiere CS6, and it won't open because it is a PowerPC application which is not supported on Mavericks. How do I download the Intel version instead? I don't see any option to choose a version.
Very strange. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and now it works fine.

How do I recover the program for Photoshop Elements 12 that was wiped off my computer when they removed some viruses? I no longer have the program because I bought it on-line and downloaded it instead of having the program disc. I bought it last year and can't seem to contact anyone at Adobe or find out who to call.
You can download it here:

Follow the Very Important Instructions exactly, even when they don't seem to make much sense. Of course you will need your serial number. -
HT5052 how to download ios 5.0.1 instead of ios 5.1?
how to download ios 5.0.1 instead of ios 5.1?
If you are past 5.1, there's a good chance you can't go back.
If you're on 5.0 or before, you will need to place your phone in DFU mode, get a manual copy of iOS 5.0.1 for your phone (correct model), and install it by holding down Shift (Windows) or Option (Mac) when restoring your phone in iTunes. It will prompt you for the specified .ipsw file. -
I use my browser to monitor real time data streams (oceanography) and want to be able to view processing log files directly in my browser window. I have symbolic links from these logs (*.log) to my web server's document directory, using .txt as a file extension for the link (e.g. procdir/argos.m.log -> webdocs/argos_m_log.txt).
Some of these files will display in the browser window, but sometimes FF insists on downloading them instead. The only difference I can see betweens ones that work and those that don't (looking at the original log files) is that the "file" command shows some to be 'ASCII English text' and some (the ones that won't display) to be 'data'. I assume this means there's one or more unprintable characters in the source file - but I'd still like to view these directly in my browser window.Prefix the link with the view-source: protocol (don't put a space between the protocol and the http link).

Please guide how to download mavervick
how to download mavervick
Before embarking on a major OS upgrade, it would be wise, advisable and very prudent if you backup your current system to an external connected and Mac formatted Flash drive OR externally connected USB, Thunderbolt or FireWire 800, Mac formatted hard drive. Then, use either OS X Time Machine app to backup your entire system to the external drive OR use a data cloning app to make an exact and bootable copy (clone) of your entire Mac's internal hard drive. This step is really needed in case something goes wrong with the install of the new OS or you simply do not like the new OS, you have a very easy to return your Mac to its former working state.
Then, determine if your Mac meets ALL minimum system install requirements.
To install Mavericks, you need one of these Macs:
iMac (Mid-2007 or later)
MacBook (13-inch Aluminum, Late 2008), (13-inch, Early 2009 or later)
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid-2009 or later),
MacBook Pro (15-inch or 17-inch, Mid/Late 2007 or later)
MacBook Air (Late 2008 or later)
Mac mini (Early 2009 or later)
Mac Pro (Early 2008 or later)
Xserve (Early 2009)
Your Mac also needs:
OS X Mountain Lion, Lion, or Snow Leopard v10.6.8 already installed
2 GB or more of memory
8 GB or more of available space
Next,
If you run any older Mac software from the earlier PowerPC Macs, then none of this software will work with the newer OS X versions (10.7 and onward). OS X Snow Leopard had a magical and invisible PowerPC emulation application, called Rosetta, that worked seamlessly in the background that still allowed older PowerPC coded software to still operate in a Intel CPU Mac.
The use of Rosetta ended with OS X Snow Leopard as the Rosetta application was licensed to Apple, from a software company called Transitive, which got bought out, I believe, by IBM and Appe could no longer secure their rights to continue to use Rosetta in later versions of OS X.
So, you would need to check to see if you have software on your Mac that maybe older than, say, 2006 or older.
Also, check for app compatibilty here.
http://roaringapps.com/
If you have any commercial antivirus installed and/or hard drive cleaning apps installed on your Mac, like MacKeeper, CleanMyMac, TuneUoMyMac, MacCleanse, etc. now would be a good time to completely uninstall this apps by doing a Google search to learn how to properly uninstall these types of apps.
These types of apps will only cause your Mac issues later after the install of the new OS X version and you will have to completely uninstall these types of apps later.
Once you have determined all of this, you should be able to find the latest version of Mavericks by clicking on the Mac App Store icon in the OS X Dock and then login to the Mac App Store using your Apple ID and password.
You can then begin the download and installation process of installing OS X 10.9 Mavericks from the Mac App Store. -
How to download multiple files?
I have an air app where a user can click a thumbnail and download that file to their download folder.
My question is how to go about allowing the user to select more than one and download them instead of one at a time.
Do i need to just put the download in a loop? Also My custom item renderer and stopped the tiles from looking like they are selected, how would i make them look selected?try this

How to Download Personal Oracle
After trying several times to download Personal Oracle 9i, I perused this discussion group seeking a solution to a problem that I was having and finding that others were encountering the same problem.
Perhaps you have encounted a difficulty in unzipping the Personal Oracle downloads... I and others have reported the fact that there are mutltiple CRC errors in the downloaded file when you try to unzip it.
Well, after analysing the problem I have found a solution and surprise surprise it is marketedly similar to a problem I discovered with Oracle over 3 years ago... a problem which their tech support insisted had to do with the tuning of my companies server... well now I am not so sure that the problem is not inherant within Oracles handling of LOB's on the web. But instead of arguing an old point... let me detail for our users HOW TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL there ORacle products.
Step by step:
1. Download the product
2. Download a second copy of the product and save it with a slightly different name
3. Unzip both copies with Winzip 8 or better. You must unzip them into seperate directories. Save the unzip log which tells you which files contained CRC errors.
4. Examine both logs and choose the version that contained the fewest CRC errors.
HERE IS THE SECRET... as in the problem my old employer discovered years ago... the errors occur randomly in LOB downloads... therefore the chance of the same file being corrupt in both downloads is very low.
5. The log will tell you which directory is being extracted and which file was corrupt... search the log for the string CRC in Wordpad... then find the missing file in the alternate tree and copy it to the working copy.
6. Repeat for each corrupt file.
7. when completed you can install the product from your working directory.
Its not pretty... but it works.
After searching for work for the last two months I thought it would be a good idea to refresh my skills with the latest version of Oracle... thank you Oracle for forcing me to use my skills to analyse your problems and develop a wotkaround... I now appreciate Postgres even more... I just wish there were employers who recognised that open source software is better supported than commercial products.
Anyone have a job lead in Denver for a developer with 20 years experiance?Hello...
Simply amazing what it takes to download the 9i.
In fact I am still trying out your tip, and have had to work on 3 different ZIP sets so far!!
Still have one or two files that refuse to download right! (Especially the big ones).
I hope I get closer and closer to the final good set of install files soon!
Anyway, from what you say, it sounds like Oracle employs certain airheads... -
How to download new podcasts one at a time?
Hello,
can anyone tell me how to download new podcast episodes one at a time? I have a slow 70k flatrate and iTunes starts all downloads at the same time, so most of them stop because they are too slow. So I have to klick each episode manually. Instead, I would like to leave my PC for one hour, and then all the podcasts should be there.
Many thanks,
Danny

How to download pdf on mac OS X 10.8.3
How to download pdf on mac OS X 10.8.3, i have installed adobe reader but still doesnt open
Thanks
Bobsorry for hijacking but I have a related question to do with certificates.
I had to set up virtual domains manually instead of through the GUI and the server ssl site is now locked to a certificate that is about to expire and no longer needed, I can't change the certificate in the web gui because it was created manually, I can't delete the certificate because it is assigned to the server ssl website and I can't manually edit the conf files to point to a different certificate becasue it breaks it, any ideas? -
Does anyone know how well the Intel Iris Pro installed on new 15" MacBook Pros performs using Photoshop and Lightroom? I have seen some differing opinions out there, and I would rather not shell out the extra cash for the Nvidia if I don't have to. I mostly do photo editing for business and personal use. I have not used the 3D function in Photoshop, but I would like to know that I could.
You could download a trial and see how well it works before committing to a subscription. You get 30 days to decide.

How to download the database form the call manager 7 to excel?
how to download the database from the call manager 7 to excel document?
No, it never did - the "ask" for the DRS folks to provide unencryption capabilities for their TARs is still out there (several other BUs want this) but so far as I know there's been zero movement on it. I've about given up hope on the DRS folks at this point - pretty clear this isn't a priority for them and I don't see much in the way of any kind of improvements on the product schedule for them at all, this included.
As a side note I've been pushing the Connection product managers to give us off box file system access to limited directories via a proxy service and roles (i.e. similiar to the ODBC proxy but for SFTP access) - armed with this we can provide our own (far superior) disaster recovery tools that work on a pull model instead of the full push DRS is built on - this would get partial backups, individual restores, about 6x increase in performance (more actually - I have a prototype that is hovering right around 10x the speed of DRS end to end), smaller backups, requires less space and resources on the server etc... etc... Fun stuff like doing a full backup on Sunday mornings and deltas every day of the week after that and another full backup Sunday etc... would be possible. Imagine.
I'll probably get more traction with that but it's a long road I'm afraid - as ever, asking your account team to enter a PERs helps - makes it more difficult for the product folks to delay on assigning engineering resources to such efforts. -
In MEK3 Transaction How to Download the Display Customs % Values
Hi Friends, Please Guide me on this Issue
Once User enters MEK3 Transaction and he follows below Steps
Enters the Condition Type
Clicks on -> Key Combination Button
Checks the Radio Button -> Purch Org / Plant/ Vendor and Continue
After Providing Inputs for
Purch. Organization, Plant, Valid on Date User executes the report
Then the data is displayed in Table Control
Here the User needs to download the data which is displayed in the Table Control
By Navigating through SYSTEM -> LIST -> SAVE -> LOCAL FILE
Here LOCAL FILE is not in enable mode
So how can we make that LOCAL FILE to enable mode and achieve the Download functionality
Thanks & Regards
Ganesh

whenever you click on Excel download option select spreadsheet instead of unconverted
There is a possibility of download the spool file as txt-file. .
Use Tranx SP01 - select the spool entry -->"spool request --> forward as text . You will find the file in your SAP work directory as <sid><spool#>.
or use fm RSPO_DOWNLOAD_SPOOLJOB.
Download in Background in Excel Format
How to download the data in excel format directly while executing in background mode?
If you will execute it in bacground with ws_download or download, it will be aoutomatically cancel. so what is the procedure to do this. How is can directly read the spool from program?
Download from background is possible, if you could setup the environment
1. create a custom table first
Table : Y001
Displayed fields: 4 of 4 Fixed columns:
MANDT BNAME Y_SITE Y_PATH
010 <userid> <site> cd <novell_path>
2. rewrite ws_download to z_download (light modification required, see attachment)
3. ask your basis team to make a copy of command FTP and CHMOD to ZFTP and ZCHMOD resp., make the setting according to your environment.

How to Download data into Chunks?
Hi Guys,
Can anybody tell me How to download the data into chunks for ex consider BSEG table for this table ?how can we download the data into chunks from SAP Database?
Can anybody tell me how to use Open Cursor and what is meant by Open Cursor?
Thanks,
Gopi.Hi Gopi,
The only change that you have to do is vary the PACKAGE SIZE according to your need. Instead of 300,000 which is set right now, give the PACKAGE SIZE as 1,000,000. But that all depends upon your requirement.
Now, I think your limit is 350,000. If that is the case, then give PACKAGE SIZE 350,000 and instead of writing open dataset outside SELECT, put in before ENDSELECT.
i.e.
DATA : it_bseg TYPE TABLE OF bseg,
v_size TYPE i VALUE '350000',
v_filename TYPE string VALUE give application server path + file name.
SELECT *
FROM bseg
INTO TABLE it_bseg PACKAGE SIZE v_size
WHERE condition.
IF it_bseg[] IS NOT INITIAL.
OPEN DATASET v_filename FOR APPENDING IN TEXT MODE ENCODING DEFAULT.
SORT IT_BSEG BY BELNR.
LOOP AT it_bseg INTO x_bseg
TRANSFER x_bseg TO v_filename.
ENDLOOP.
CLOSE DATASET v_filename.
ENDIF.
ENDSELECT.
Reward points if the answer is helpful.
Thankx,
Mukul -
