    hi all, i have a big map in my iphone application, i need to dynamic load the map when user move the map. in this case, i need to draw the new loaded part before user can see it, my question is how to draw those new loaded part in background thread?
    i tried to create a thread, and in this thread call [xxview setNeedsDisplay], but this thread closed before the drawRect is finished.
    thanks.

    You can also load the VI through the VI Server. Since the data flow is avoided, and the VI is essentially loaded as external code, it gets it's own thread as far as I know.
    When doing this, setting the Property "Wait until finished" to false is quite useful too.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to set JTable row background color

    Well, i am new user to forum and so have no idea if this question has been asked previously "countless" times.Which is why you "search first" and "ask later". How to you expect to find out what valuable information is in the forum without learning how to do a simple search. This goes for any forum on the web you might use, so don't use the "I'm a new user" excuse.

    Matt,
    I'm happy that you're finding the book useful.  Jeffrey Travis (my co-auther) and Lisa Wells (co-author of 1st edition) deserve a whole lot of credit, too :-)  And, regarding the multicolumn listbox trick, the amazing Michael Aivaliotis and Philippe Guerit are JKI's LabVIEW user interface wizards who deserves all the credit.  Generally, I just ask for the user interface features ;-)  Michael and Philippe are the ones who make it happen.  Also, I just learned that they're working on another article about how to make your own cool looking buttons with glyphs.  Stay tuned...

  • Change background color of alternating rows in listview

    Hi all,
    Does anyone know how to change the background color of alternating rows in a listview in Visual Basic 2013?
    Best regards,
    Randy Boulter

    You can set the OwnerDraw property of the ListView to true and use the DrawItem event:
    Private Sub ListView1_DrawItem(sender As Object, e As DrawListViewItemEventArgs) Handles ListView1.DrawItem
    e.DrawDefault = True
    If (e.ItemIndex Mod 2) = 1 Then
    e.Item.BackColor = Color.FromArgb(220, 220, 220)
    e.Item.UseItemStyleForSubItems = True
    End If
    End Sub

      How do I change the background color of a row in a table indicator? I know how to change the background color in a active cell, but that is not what I want. My first intent is to make the background color of the first row a unique color, such as green, just to highlight the top row of the table.

    I have done this before by using a for loop to change the active cell of a row in order to give the appearance that the whole row is turning the color at once.

  • How do i set the background of the table( not of cell / row / column).

    How do i set the background of the table( not of cell / row / column).
    What happens when i load the applet the table is blank and displays the background color is gray which we want to be white.
    We tried using the setBackGround but it is not working maybe we are not using it properly. Any help would be gr8.
    Thanks in advance.

    I don't understand very well, but i guess that the background is gray when the table content's empty, isn't it?
    When the table model is empty, the JTable doesn't paint, so its container displays its background (often gray).
    In this case, what you must do is force the table to paint, even if the model is empty. So, you have to create your own table and override three methods :
    public class MyTable extends JTable
    //specify the preferred and minum size when empty
    myPreferredWidth = 200;
    myPreferredHeigth =200;
    myMinimunWidth = ...;
    myMinimunHeigth = ...;
    public Dimension getPreferredSize()
    if(getModel().getRowCount() < 1)
    return new Dimension(myPreferredWidth, myPreferredHeigth);
    else
    return super.getPreferredSize();
    public Dimension getMinimumSize()
    if( getModel().getRowCount() > 0)
    return new Dimension(myMinimunWidth, myMinimunHeigth);
    else
    return super.getMinimumSize();
    protected void paintComponent(Graphics g)
    if (getModel().getRowCount<1 && isOpaque()) { //paint background
    g.setColor(Color.white);
    g.fillRect(0, 0, getWidth(), getHeight());
    else super.paintComponent(g);
    }

    To customize a single page, add this rule to the CSS Inline page attribute:
    .apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA tr.odd td {
      background: rgb(242, 242, 242) !important;
    To apply to a complete application, either add
    .apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA tr.odd td {
      background: rgb(242, 242, 242) !important;
    to the Cascading Style Sheet Inline attribute on each page template, or create a CSS file containing
    .apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA tr.odd td {
      background: rgb(242, 242, 242);
    upload it to your workspace, and reference it after the theme link in each page template Header:
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="#IMAGE_PREFIX#themes/theme_4/css/theme_4_0.css" type="text/css" />
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#theme_4_0_no_alt_row.css" type="text/css" />

  • How Get Alternating Row Colors To Work?

    I've searched this forum, searched online, and followed the directions in the Numbers 3.0 Help, but I just can't get the Alternating Row Colors function to work.  I'm using an iMac and a new Mac Mini, both running Mavericks, on a spreadsheet converted from Numbers '08.  I've seen several screenshots of tables in discussions on this forum that seem to have Alternate Row shading; presumably they were done with Numbers 3.0. So apparently, it can be done.  Need Help!

    Vistan,
    I'm about as sure as I can be that Table Style boxes having being clicked has nothing to do with the Checkbox for Alternating color rows. I've been wrong before, but I can't grasp the logic on this one, and it doesn't happen here the way you describe.

  • Alternating row color for CF report Builder?

    I have a user who wants one of her reports to display
    alternating row colors for better read clarity. The reports are
    rather lengthy and the rows tend to blend in with eachother.

    Thanks Epulfy. I am going to give this a try later today.
    Much appreciated
    EDIT:: This does work. however I'm not sure how to set a
    rectangle to the background of the report so it's behind my
    details. I draw the rectangle and it just hides whatever I want to
    display. When I look at the report it does alternate with rows, but
    I can only see details from the rows that it does not alternate on.
    Any clue how to set it to the background?

  • How to Draw table in SAPscript ???

    I want to draw a table with column and row in SAPscript. Who can help me step by step?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    Use BOx Syantax  How to Draw table in SAPscript ??? Pls Read the description
    Syntax:
    1. /: BOX [XPOS] [YPOS] [WIDTH] [HEIGHT] [FRAME] [INTENSITY]
    2. /: POSITION [XORIGIN] [YORIGIN] [WINDOW] [PAGE]
    3. /: SIZE [WIDTH] [HEIGHT] [WINDOW] [PAGE]
    BOX
    Syntax:
    /: BOX [XPOS] [YPOS] [WIDTH] [HEIGHT] [FRAME] [INTENSITY]
    Effect: draws a box of the specified size at the specified position.
    Parameters: For each parameter (XPOS, YPOS, WIDTH, HEIGHT and FRAME), both a measurement and a unit of measure must be specified. The INTENSITY parameter should be entered as a percentage between 0 and 100.
    •&#61472;XPOS, YPOS: Upper left corner of the box, relative to the values of the POSITION command.
    Default: Values specified in the POSITION command.
    The following calculation is performed internally to determine the absolute output position of a box on the page:
    X(abs) = XORIGIN + XPOS
    Y(abs) = YORIGIN + YPOS
    •&#61472;WIDTH: Width of the box.
    Default: WIDTH value of the SIZE command.
    •&#61472;HEIGHT: Height of the box.
    Default: HEIGHT value of the SIZE command.
    •&#61472;FRAME: Thickness of frame.
    Default: 0 (no frame).
    •&#61472;INTENSITY: Grayscale of box contents as %.
    Default: 100 (full black)
    Measurements: Decimal numbers must be specified as literal values (like ABAP/4 numeric constants) by being enclosed in inverted commas. The period should be used as the decimal point character. See also the examples listed below.
    Units of measure: The following units of measure may be used:
    •&#61472;TW (twip)
    •&#61472;PT (point)
    •&#61472;IN (inch)
    •&#61472;MM (millimeter)
    •&#61472;CM (centimeter)
    •&#61472;LN (line)
    •&#61472;CH (character).
    The following conversion factors apply:
    •&#61472;1 TW = 1/20 PT
    •&#61472;1 PT = 1/72 IN
    •&#61472;1 IN = 2.54 CM
    •&#61472;1 CM = 10 MM
    •&#61472;1 CH = height of a character relative to the CPI specification in the layout set header
    •&#61472;1 LN = height of a line relative to the LPI specification in the layout set header
    Examples:
    /: BOX FRAME 10 TW
    Draws a frame around the current window with a frame thickness of 10 TW (= 0.5 PT).
    /: BOX INTENSITY 10
    Fills the window background with shadowing having a gray scale of 10 %.
    /: BOX HEIGHT 0 TW FRAME 10 TW
    Draws a horizontal line across the complete top edge of the window.
    /: BOX WIDTH 0 TW FRAME 10 TW
    Draws a vertical line along the complete height of the left hand edge of the window.
    /: BOX WIDTH '17.5' CM HEIGHT 1 CM FRAME 10 TW INTENSITY 15
    /: BOX WIDTH '17.5' CM HEIGHT '13.5' CM FRAME 10 TW
    /: BOX XPOS '10.0' CM WIDTH 0 TW HEIGHT '13.5' CM FRAME 10 TW
    /: BOX XPOS '13.5' CM WIDTH 0 TW HEIGHT '13.5' CM FRAME 10 TW
    Draws two rectangles and two lines to construct a table of three columns with a highlighted heading section.
    POSITION
    Syntax:
    /: POSITION [XORIGIN] [YORIGIN] [WINDOW] [PAGE]
    Effect: Sets the origin for the coordinate system used by the XPOS and YPOS parameters of the BOX command. When a window is first started the POSITION value is set to refer to the upper left corner of the window (default setting).
    Parameters: If a parameter value does not have a leading sign, then its value is interpreted as an absolute value, in other words as a value which specifies an offset from the upper left corner of the output page. If a parameter value is specified with a leading sign, then the new value of the parameter is calculated relative to the old value. If one of the parameter specifications is missing, then no change is made to this parameter.
    •&#61472;XORIGIN, YORIGIN: Origin of the coordinate system.
    •&#61472;WINDOW: Sets the values for the left and upper edges to be the same of those of the current window (default setting).
    •&#61472;PAGE: Sets the values for the left and upper edges to be the same as those of the current output page (XORIGIN = 0 cm, YORIGIN = 0 cm).
    Examples:
    /: POSITION WINDOW
    Sets the origin for the coordinate system to the upper left corner of the window.
    /: POSITION XORIGIN 2 CM YORIGIN '2.5 CM'
    Sets the origin for the coordinate system to a point 2 cm from the left edge and 2.5 cm from the upper edge of the output page.
    /: POSITION XORIGIN '-1.5' CM YORIGIN -1 CM
    Shifts the origin for the coordinates 1.5 cm to the left and 1 cm up.
    SIZE
    Syntax:
    /: SIZE [WIDTH] [HEIGHT] [WINDOW] [PAGE]
    Effect: Sets the values of the WIDTH and HEIGHT parameters used in the BOX command. When a window is first started the SIZE value is set to the same values as the window itself (default setting).
    Parameters: If one of the parameter specifications is missing, then no change is made to the current value of this parameter. If a parameter value does not have a leading sign, then its value is interpreted as an absolute value. If a parameter value is specified with a leading sign, then the new value of the parameter is calculated relative to the old value.
    •&#61472;WIDTH, HEIGHT: Dimensions of the rectangle or line.
    •&#61472;WINDOW: Sets the values for the width and height to the values of the current window (default setting).
    •&#61472;PAGE: Sets the values for the width and height to the values of the current output page.
    Examples:
    /: SIZE WINDOW
    Sets WIDTH and HEIGHT to the current window dimensions.
    /: SIZE WIDTH '3.5' CM HEIGHT '7.6' CM
    Sets WIDTH to 3.5 cm and HEIGHT to 7.6 cm.
    /: POSITION WINDOW
    /: POSITION XORIGIN -20 TW YORIGIN -20 TW
    /: SIZE WIDTH +40 TW HEIGHT +40 TW
    /: BOX FRAME 10 TW
    A frame is added to the current window. The edges of the frame extend beyond the edges of the window itself, so as to avoid obscuring the leading and trailing text characters.
