  • How to edit Printed Documents in Business One

When you print any documents in SAP Business One the status field become Open-printed thereafter i am not able to edit the document. How to edit this document after printing it?

    Hello,
It is possible to update particular fields in existing marketing documents as of SAP Business One 2005 A SP01. You may refer to SAP Note  941272 for detailed information or just check below.

    SAP Business One Forums Team
    Business scenario
    Solution
As of SAP Business One 2005 A SP01, it is possible to update the data of specific fields after the documents are added, under certain conditions, listed below.
    -  This solution is available for Italy, Japan, UK, US, Spain, Sweden, Norway, and Finland.
    1. Due Date
If the documents listed below are fully opened, that is, the documents were not fully or partially drawn to a target documents, or were not fully or partially paid, you can change their due date:
    o  A/R Invoice & A/P Invoice
o  A/R Down Payment Request & A/P Down Payment Request
o  A/R Down Payment Invoice & A/P Down Payment Invoice
    o  A/R Reserve Invoice & A/P Reserve Invoice
    o  A/R Credit Memo & A/P Credit Memo
    Additional Information:
    Installments:
    -  In the case of one installment only, if you change the due date in the document header, the due date of the installment is updated accordingly. The opposite also occurs; if you change the due date of the installment, the due date in the  document header is updated accordingly.
    -  In the case of more than one installment, you can change the due date of each installment, but only a change in the due date of the latest installment updates the due date in the document header accordingly.
    -  There is no option to change the number of installments.
    Journal Entries:
    -  If you change the due date of a journal entry created by a document, the due date of the respective document is not  updated.
    -  If you change the due date of document or installment, the due date of the respective row in the journal entry created by that document/installment is updated accordingly.
    2. Payment Method
If the documents listed below are fully opened, that is; the documents were not fully or partially drawn to a target documents, or were notfully or partially paid, you can change their Payment Method:
    o  A/R Invoice & A/P Invoice
o  A/R Down Payment Request & A/P Down Payment Request
o  A/R Down Payment Invoice & A/P Down Payment Invoice
    o  A/R Reserve Invoice & A/P Reserve Invoice
    o  A/R Credit Memo & A/P Credit Memo
o  Delivery & Goods Receipt PO
    o  Return & Goods Return
    3. Sales Employee/Buyer
You can change the sales employee or buyer data for all the documents listed in section #2 at any time (including after the document is closed), at both document and row level.
If the change is done at the document level, a message asking the user whether to apply the change on the rows appears.
    4. Owner
You can change the owner of all the documents listed in section #2 at any time (including after the document is closed), at both document and row level.
If the change is at the document level, the row owner is automatically updated accordingly.
    5. Pay To/Bill To
You can change the Pay To or Bill To data for all the documents listed in section #2, only if the documents are fully opened. That is; the documents were not fully or partially drawn to a target document, or were not fully or partially paid.
    6. Payment Terms
You can change the payment term of Delivery, Goods Receipt POs, Return, and Goods Return only if the documents are fully opened. That is; the documents were not fully or partially drawn to a target documents.

You can modify the text of existing text rows in all of the documents listed in section #2, at any time (including after the document is closed). However, you cannot add new text rows or delete existing ones.
    8. Printing
If you make one or more of the above mentioned changes after the document is printed, the next printout, which takes place after the change, reflects the changes and includes the title "Amended".
    -  Note that only print layouts that save the printing information, indicating whether or not the document was printed, include the title "Amended".
    9. Change Log
All the changes described above are documented in the Change Log window.
    10. Authorizations
Only authorized users can submit the changes described above. For this purpose the following authorizations are added to the Authorizations window:
o  Modify Posted A/R Documents - to enable changing sales documents. Located under Sales - A/R authorization entry.
o  Modify Posted A/P Documents - to enable changing purchasing documents. Located under Purchasing A/P -> Purchase Order.

  • How to edit / remove watermarks after the document is digitally signed

how to edit / remove watermarks after a document is digitally signed ?

    Hello Dave,
    Thank you for your reply.
I have 2 things to mention.
(1)It is possible to do so if I open the document in Acrobat 8.
    (2) Is there any work around solution for X-pro ?
I create a draft document and send it for approval with “draft” watermark.
I receive it back after approval with the approver’s signature.
Then I have to remove the “draft” watermark.
      How can I do it?
    Any suggestion will be appreciated
    Thank you.

  • "Lock document after signing" option is missing

    Hello,
I need a signature field on a PDF form I am developing to have the Lock Document After signing functionality. My coworker (who has since left the firm) designed a similar form that automatically checks this box in the Sign Document pop-up window. This is exactly what I want, but I can't figure out how to do it. I am using Adobe Acrobat X Pro (10.1.13).
What I CURRENTLY see, missing the lock document option:
What I WANT to see, taken from another PDF form:
Thanks in advance for any help

    Thanks for the reply isakten.
I am the author of the document for the 1st screenshot. I am trying to replicate what my former co-worker did in the 2nd screenshot (which is a completely separate document). My boss likes the "lock document" feature and wants each form locked when it is signed.
I've heard about seed values, but i don't know anything about them specifically. The properties of the digital signature field are the same in the two documents, there is no script in either one, yet the difference remains. Do you have any resources  I could read about for modifying seed values to mandate the lock document option?

  • How to edit word documents once converted

Can someone please advise how to edit a document I have converted into word from PDF.
    Many thanks

Not sure what you mean. Are you asking how to use WORD? It also depends if you used the layout or the flow conversion process. With the layout, you get a bunch of text boxes. Almost nothing is in the standard flow of WORD. If you use the flow version, you sometimes get some strange sequencing of items. You might try both. If you have a graphic, then you either have to edit the graphic in a graphics package or do OCR in Acrobat before you do the conversion.

  • Enable "Lock Document after Signing" by Default

My boss likes the "Lock Document after Signing" option in Acrobat X and plans to use it every time he signs a document. So, is there a way to keep that box checked by default? I did not see it anywhere in preferences, is there a registry key I could set?

There is not a preference for this. It is possible to use seed values for digital signature fields, making it possible to create a custom menu item or toolbar button that adds a digital signature field to a page with the seeds values that would cause the document to be locked when signed. For a bit more information, see: http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9.1/Acrobat9_1_HTMLHelp/JS_API_AcroJS.88.757.html

  • I can't figure out how to edit a document!

i can't figure out how to edit a document. pdf file

In general, Adobe Reader mobile products do not support editing of PDF contents.  However, Reader for iOS and Android support commenting (adding/deleting sticky notes, highlight, etc.) and form filling.
Currently, Adobe Reader Touch for Windows 8 (version 1,0) does not support commenting or form filling yet.  We are working on adding the support in future releases.

  • Acrobat Standard XI - How to edit pdf created and signed with Adobe Standard 6.0 on another computer?

    Hi
Is this even possible? I cant edit PDF-documents because I cannot remove the signature. Can I transfer digital signature from Adobe Standard 6.0?
    Please help me out
    //Anders

Acrobat versions prior to 9 had a bug which allowed you to do what you did. In Acrobat 9 this bug was fixed. In order to do what you want you need to certify (apply special certification digital signature with your certificate -- it is "Certify (Visible/Invisible)" choice in the "Work with Certificates") your document first. In the process of certification you can specify which modification permissions you allow the users of your document to make after signing. Certification signature must be the first signature in the document.

  • How to edit Word Document stored in BDS through ABAP WebDynpro

    Hi All,
Currently, my company has an ECC 6 program very similar to SAPRDEMO_FORM_INTERFACE.  This program takes a word form and populates it with various bits of data for the end user.  The user can then edit this document as they see fit and save it to the BDS system against a Material.
The current requirement is to replicate this functionality through a WebDynpro program.  SAP does have a demo WebDynpro program IOS_TEST_WORDPROCESSING under package SIOS.  Within Method WDDOMODIFYVIEW of view TEST_VIEW_WORDPROC, the program takes the URL of a MIME repository object (which is a word document) and displays that document.  I tried to replicate this functionality by using the URL and content of the document using the CL_BDS_DOCUMENT_SET; however I am unsuccessful in getting this document to display.  No matter what I do, I cannot seem to get the BDS document to display.
Does anyone know how to display and edit BDS documents through WebDynpro?  Any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks for your help.

    John,

  • How to edit content on formerly signed document

We use signed PDF documents to contain customer order characterization information.  The PDF is setup as an interactive form which is modified for the customer.  Some fields are text while others are check boxes, etc.  Sometimes there is a need to remove the signature, make modifications to the document, and re-sign it.
I have used the Tools/Pages/Extract tool to create an unsigned version of my PDF, but the resulting file refuses to allow its content to be changed.  The extracted file shows all of the document restrictions as allowed and the fields are selectable, but cannot be changed.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks...

the content which he is modifying should be effeted on server means when he presses save or upload the content should goes to server for upload

  • Unable to save a document after signing it in Adobe Acrobat Standard XI.

I have a user who is unable to save .PDF files that he is opening in Outlook via an embedded link in the email.
When he clicks on the link, Acrobat opens the document without issue. However, when he applies his signature and goes to save it over the existing document on our internal network file server, he gets the following message: "The document could be saved. The disk you were saving to or the disk used for temporary files is full. Free some space on this disk and try again, or save to a different disk."
The network drive has a significant amount of space available, at least 500 gigs.
This was not an issue up until Friday of last week. Prior to Friday, he had no issue signing documents emailed to him that contained a embedded link pointing back to the file on our internal network file server.  If I have him browse directly to the file in Windows Explorer however, he can open sign the document and overwrite the existing copy.  While that works, I would like him to regain the ability to save his file after opening it from his email; as unless I show him how to get to the file directly via Explorer, he is unable to do so. (And he has to sign many documents a day as well)
Other users on my network are not encountering this issue, however some are running a different mix of Office and Acrobat. (Such as Office 2010  and Acrobat X, etc)
I've researched this issue for prior versions of Acrobat and tried to applied the same resolutions for this issue without a positive result. So far I have been unable to find any solutions for this issue dealing with XI.
Has anyone else run ino this issue with Acrobat Standard XI? If so what did you do to resolve the issue? Thank you for any help that you can give me.
Here is the basic setup that his computer is running:
    Windows 7 Profesional 64 bit
    Microsoft Office 2013 Professional
    Adobe Acrobat Standard XI
    Internet Explorer 9
Also my user is has full Admin rights to his workstation and has the appropriate security rights to the folders he is trying to save the signed document to.

I would like to confirm the exact same message is happening with us.
Several users have been receiving the error message shown below when trying to save PDF’s to their desktop or other server.
We are experiencing the issue with earlier versions of Acrobat (8 & 9) as well.
This is only started happening this week?

  • How do I avoid duplicates after signing back in to my current iCloud account on my iPad?

I had to delete my newer iCloud account and sign in to the App store with my old AppleID to download missing apps on my first generation iPad. I did not delete Contacts or Calendar entries when I deleted the newer account so the data is still on my iPad. After I updated the apps I deleted the old account and signed on again with my newer account. I did not allow any data to merge when I signed in with either account. My question is: if I turn on Contacts and Calendar will the data duplicate? If so how can I avoid that happening? (I hope I explained this clearly enough)

Having just changed my Apple ID to separate myself from my son who was sharing my ID I can tell you how to handle this in IOS7.  I went to the Apple web site and established my new ID.
I followed the advice on this support page to change my Apple ID  Change your Apple ID - Apple Support
I then followed the advice on this page to update the ID on my device Sign in with a different Apple ID on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
IMPORTANT!!!! When you delete your iCloud for your old Apple ID off your phone you will lose all your documents that are in the cloud but not your contacts that are out in the cloud.  Also, before following the directions on the"Sign in with a Different Account" page to delete the iCloud Apple ID first turn off iCloud sync on each item individually.  When you turn off the sync it will ask you if you want to keep the data on your phone.  Yes you do want this.  After turning off sync individually Delete the iCloud account for the old Apple ID.  Then when you then sign into iCloud with your new Apple ID select the Merge option and it will upload all your contacts and data to the iCloud account for your new Apple ID.
If you simply Delete your iCloud account it will delete all your contacts off your phone.  If you delete iCloud without first turning sync off Contacts and your contacts are then deleted off your phone, don't worry.  Simply log back into iCloud with your old account and your contacts will be restored.  Then you can turn off the sync on all items, Delete the old account from iCloud, sign in with the new apple Id, select Merge iPhone data.  So it puts your contacts and data from your phone into your new iCloud account.

  • How to modify a PDF after signing

Our company has recently been upgrading from Adobe 8 to Adobe X (more specifically 10.1.10.) In Adobe 8 there is an ability to add/subtract pages after a signature has been signed, however this does not work in Adobe X with the default settings and I have not located a way to adjust this. Within the company there is a department in legal/accounting that handles the creation of PDF documents from basically start to finish. During their creation process there needs to be two signature: one for the creator of the document (this field is important enough that I cannot simply copy an ID/key so that anyone can sign anyone’s name however it is not important enough that it needs to lock a document or prevent any changes including adding/subtracting pages.) The creator will start a document sign and then pass it on where it will be modified, pages will be added/subtracted and words may be rearranged. Once it has been revised a couple to even a few time a second signature will lock the document. Is this still possible in Adobe Acrobat X Pro or Standard? Thank you in advance.

AFAIK the signature validation rules were significantly strengthen in Acrobat 9 and later. I do not remember whether adding pages was among those. BTW, by "subtracting pages"do you mean "deleting pages"? You could never delete a page in a signed document without invalidating the signature. Generally, in order to be able to modify signed PDF the original PDF, before the first signature, needs to be certified with certification permissions for specific actions, like permission to add more signature and fill form fields. You can certify the original PDF in Acrobat and its UI gives you a few certification permissions options. Adding pages is not in this list. LiveCycle has a more elaborate set of certification permissions but this is a fairly expensive solution and I do not remember whether Adding pages is in its permissions list.

  • How to edit stroke width after line is drawn?

In Flash CS4, I'm trying to change the stroke width of my line or shape, with it selected, but the stroke width slider is greyed out (thus, unadjustable). Is it possible to edit a stroke width after something has been created? If so, how can this be done? I've tried selecting the line in all kinds of crazy ways, but still can't edit it.

I don't have CS4, but in CS3, as long as you're selecting the raw drawn object, you can use either the slider or enter a new value in the box.  When you select the shape and line, does it appear all cross-hatched/speckled or is it a blue line surrounding it all?  If it's the blue line, then you're not down to the raw graphic yet.  You might also want to check to be sure the layer isn't locked.
