How to edit PS Extension CSS;

I am trying to edit the BG of the CC libraries extension assets (it's a simple CSS gradient) but saving the file will not let me use the extension anymore saying it has not been signed properly. Any ideas on how to edit this, or any extension?
Imagine the possibilities.
The default PS extensions are located in Photoshop/Contents/CEP/extensions/(com.adobe.DesignLibraryPanel.html)
Thanks.

Hi,
I do not recommend you change Apex css files.
Create your own theme and change css file on that.
Or add your application page template header style that overwrite font size like
When you try login to xdb where is all images, css and js files use SYSTEM user.

And Apex related question you should post to Application Express Forum

• How to edit the core.css file

Hello,
All the fonts in my Apex app are too small, and I mean all the fonts, for the interface too. So, I did a bit of research and found it is probably the core.css file that has been adjusted, trouble is I do not know how to change it. Even installed Microsoft Office Sharepoint to do the editing but I cannot locat the file, or rather I can but I cannot seem to be able to edit the file. I think the file can be found here http://127.0.0.1:8080/i/css/core.css but when I try to access this site from sharepoint it prompts me for username and password for the 127.0.0.1 address and does not accept what ever I enter. Any advice welcome.

• How do I show the bookmarks toolbar while in fullscreen on Firefox 20? In older versions you could edit the userChrome.css file. Does that still exist?

After searching for this option, it appears it was very easy to do in older versions of firefox on windows 7. Many posts say you can edit the userChrome.css file to add:
#PersonalToolbar[moz-collapsed="true"] {
visibility: visible !important;
However, on 2 machines with firefox 20, I've searched for that file and cannot find it. Does it even exist any more? if not, how can I set firefox to go to fullscreen mode and continue to show the bookmarks toolbar? Unchecking hide toolbars does not work for the bookmarks toolbar.

userChrome.css does not exist by default. You can create it; it's an ordinary text file. Note that you do need a namespace at the beginning of the file.
You could try this:
@namespace url(http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul);
#PersonalToolbar[moz-collapsed="true"]{
visibility: visible !important;
#navigator-toolbox[inFullscreen="true"]{
margin-top:-62px !important;
I added the second rule to prevents the toolbar area from rolling all the way up. The specific value may need to be adjusted by a few pixels depending on your toolbar heights.

• When using quick edit for compressed CSS, edge code does not jump to the particular class but displays the whole thing. This destroys the whole purpose. Does anyone know a fix or extension for that.

I suspect that beautify doesn't touch CSS that it is not aware of (e.g. new properties/syntaxes, vendor-prefixes). See if there's a newer version available.
Which compressed CSS are you using? Most CSS libraries come with both compressed and original stylesheets, so use the original one during development/debugging, and switch to the compressed one for deployment.

• How to edit JVC/Panasonic/Canon .mod video in Windows Movie Maker then upload to YouTube for sharing

Quick View:
Part 1: How to import .mod video to Windows Movie Maker
Part 2: How to edit the video with Windows Movie Maker
Part 3: How to upload your video to YouTube
Know More:
1. Which Camcorders record video in .MOD type?
2. What file types are supported by Windows Movie Maker?
3. What file types are supported by YouTube?
Part 1: How to import .mod video to Windows Movie Maker
Step 1: Load files
First copy the MOD file from your video camera to your hard drive, then download, install and run MOD Converter, click the "Add Files" button to browse your computer hard disc and load the MOD/TOD video files you want to convert to the program.
Step 2: Output Setting
In the bottom of the main interface, select an output format supported by Windows Movie Maker for each video file and specify a directory on your computer to save the output files.
Step 3: Start convert
Click "Start" button on right bottom of the main interface, you are allowed to start conversion.
Step 4: Import converted video to Windows Movie Maker
Click on "File". Then click on "Import". A window will appear. In the window, navigate to the video clip you converted just now. Then double click on the file. You'll see the icon for the file in your Windows Movie Maker "Collections".
Part 2: How to edit the video with Windows Movie Maker
Step 1: Add transitions and special effects
In the Movie Tasks pane, under Edit Movie, click View video transitions.
Preview transitions by double-clicking them and watching the Preview Monitor. Once you've found a transition you like, drag it from the Video Transitions pane, under Edit Movie pane to the box between two of your clips. This inserts the transition between the two clips.
Step 2: Add titles and credits
If you want to add a title before, after, or on top of a clip, click the clip on the storyboard or timeline.
In the Movie Tasks pane, under Edit Movie, click Make titles or credits.
Step 3: Add Music
In the Movie Tasks pane in Movie Maker, under Capture Video, click Import audio or music.
In the Import File dialog box, click the name of the song you want to use in the background. Then click Import. This adds your song to your collection but does not add it to your video. Drag the song from the collection to the video clip where you want the music to start playing.
Step 4: Add narration
If you have a desktop computer, connect a microphone. Microphones are available from most electronics stores. If you have a portable computer, you can use the built-in microphone. However, you will get a better-quality recording if you connect an external microphone. In Movie Maker, click the Tools menu, and then click Narrate Timeline. On the timeline, click the clip you want to narrate. You can narrate clips one at a time, or you can narrate the entire movie all at once. If you narrate individual clips, you can rearrange them later and keep your narration synchronized. If the narration is too loud or too soft in comparison to the movie, right-click the narration on your timeline, and then click Volume.
Step 5: To save your movie to your computer
In the Movie Tasks pane, under Finish Movie, click Save to my computer.
The Save Movie Wizard appears. On the Save Movie File page, type a name for your movie. You can also choose a folder to save it in by clicking the Browse button, but My Videos (the default) is usually the best place to save your movie. Then click Next. On the Movie Setting page, click Next to accept the default setting of Best quality for playback on my computer.
Movie Maker saves your movie, which might take several minutes. On the Completing the Save Movie Wizard page, click Finish. If Play movie when I click Finish was selected (it is selected by default), the movie will automatically play in Windows Media Player. Now you can watch your videos anytime by opening your My Videos folder and double-clicking your movie.
Part 3: How to upload my video to YouTube
A video file should meet the following requirements so that it can be uploaded to YouTube site.
1. In an acceptable format: WMV, MPEG4, MOV, AVI and MPEG.
2. Video length is shorter 10 minutes.
3. File size is smaller than 1GB.
Step 1: Sign up a YouTube account or Gmail account, then click the Upload button on any YouTube web page. See the figure below:
Step 2: Type in the information of your video file, including Title, Description, Category and tags. To increase the chances that your video can be easily found, you should put as much information as possible.
Step 3: Set this video to be public or private.
Step 4: Click the "Upload a video" button. When you see the next window, click the "Browse" button to select the video file you want to upload. Then click the "Upload Video" button to upload it. After the upload is finished, you will see the completion page. See the figure below:
Step 5: Click "My Videos" and you will see the video.
Know More:
1. Which Camcorders record video in .MOD type?
MOD is the video file type used on many digital camcorders, such as the JVC Everio, the Canon FS100 and the Panasonic D-Snap SD-card camcorders. Accompanying the MOD video file, there exists MOI file that stands for the index file for MOD.
2. What file types are supported by Windows Movie Maker?
You can import files with the following file name extensions into Windows Movie Maker to use in your project:
Video files: .avi, .wmv, .mpeg, .mpg., .asf, m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, , .mpv2, and .wm.
Audio files: .mp3, .wav, wma, .mp2, .aiff, .aif, .aifc,.asf, .au,.mpa, and .snd.
Picture files:.jpeg, .jpg, .jpe, .png, .bmp, .dib, .emf, .gif, .jfif,.tif, .tiff, and .wmf
3. What file types are supported by YouTube?
YouTube accepts a wide range of video file formats. The video files below are all accepted by YouTube. Some video formats work best and are most compatible with certain computers, software or devices. Windows Media Video (.WMV)
.3GP (cell phones)
.AVI (windows)
.MOV (mac)
.MP4 (ipod/psp)
.MPEG
.FLV (adobe flash)
.SWF (shockwave flash)v
.MKV (h.264) If you do not think your current video file format is recognized by YouTube, you may get the best uploading results from converting your file to MPEG4 video with MP3 audio.

• Edit the Default CSS file

I want to know if there is a way to edit the default CSS file for Webi. The reason I am asking is because of the way in which hyperlinks are formatted. When I go into the document properties and change the formatting (color only), it does not update on my actual report. Also, I want to be able to remove the underlines from all hyperlinks without having to go in and do it manually using inline CSS.
Is there a default CSS file out there that can be edited? Where is it located and how to I ensure it's used in all my reports? Thanks.

Hi Keith,
Following is the location of the CSS file in 4.0
C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\images\WebIDefaultStyleSheet.css and
Note that for the BI 4.0, you would not be able to update the default style after the document creation. If you want to modify default style, you must :
1. update the .css file stored in the images folder of your server installation or rich client and
2. then create a new webi document to see your style modification.
Hope it helps.

• How to edit #TEMPLATE_CSS# of a theme in APEX 4.2?

Dear Experts,
How to edit #TEMPLATE_CSS# of a theme in APEX 4.2?
Best Regards
Mahmoud

Mahmoud_Rabie wrote:
Dear Paul,
To be more specific, I have the following

in my page template.
As I know, #TEMPLATE_CSS# is substituted by content of the above file. No, it is not.
As described above, #TEMPLATE_CSS# is replaced by the contents of the template's File URLs and Inline CSS properties. This feature enables template-level customization of the CSS included in the page. Try it: change #TEMPLATE_CSS# in the template to:

#TEMPLATE_CSS#
Now add a style to the Inline CSS property:
body { background: black !important; }Run the page. View the page source in the browser and see what's happened to #TEMPLATE_CSS#...
The question is, can I (through APEX 4.2) update this content directly to do tasks like adding or updating classes of the CSS?
Not in the way you mean.
File URLs and Inline are empty (by default) and ready to be used to totally replace the content of #TEMPLATE_CSS#Yes, #TEMPLATE_CSS# is replaced by the contents of the File URLs and Inline template properties. This does not affect the inclusion of any other CSS information, whether using new CSS substitution strings, <link rel="stylesheet" ...> elements, or embedded <style> declarations.
Is the only solution to update/edit the CSS of a theme, to download the CSS then paste it in Inline field (under CSS section of the template)? No. If you want a custom theme the best way is:
1. Copy the theme CSS to an accessible location in the file system (the best way) or APEX repository (if you don't have file system access).
2. Create a new theme as a copy in APEX.
3. Change the <link rel="stylesheet" ...> theme references in the new theme page templates to point to the new CSS location.
4. Customize the CSS (tools like Coda that allow local and remote files to be modified are very helpful).

• 'how to edit site part 2'

Hello,
recently posted a thread, 'how to edit a site',
received generous replies- however, it didnt hit the nail on the head and im still none the wiser, so im going to try again....
does anyone have a step by step guide on how i am able to locate my site in which a web developer has edited for me (web developer has not replied my emails hence this post) in DW CS4 so that i can edit my site? Hope that makes sense,
i found on one forum, it stated: open DW, click New site, etc- but i get options such as: use server technology? remote server folders? and although i have tried many options it still hasnt worked!
i have a good understanding of html/css and more but have never used DW until now and finding it incredibly hard just locate my site and edit it in DW,
Look forward to hearing from any kind and clever people out their!
Regards
Becky

I don't know if this is exactly what you are looking for.
1) Locate the location where all your web stuff are (local or remote)
2) Open DW4 and find the website tab (not file open or stuff like that)
3) Create new site
4) Default is the basic view, switch to complex.
5) You technically only need to enter one information. On the local information, website name... just give whatever. The ONLY essential information is the local root folder (the blank just under the website name): this is where you put in the location you found in step 1.
6) Click okay.
All other information such as remote server or what not... those aren't necessary for your purpose RIGHT NOW. They are HELPFUL for shortcuts, testing, etc..., but I am sure others can do a better job of explaining them than I can.
(P.S. if your engineer left your website somewhere in the web, I suggest you retrieve it and store in local (put it in some folder) to make the above steps easier. You can always upload your finished site later.)
IF nothing seemed to happen, check your lower right corner to see if the webpages that are already created are there. (there is a navigation window) Double click on any of them will open them onto the main screen for editing.
I hope my answer isn't too simple and doesn't fit your need. Happy editing!

• How to edit the WSDL

I noticed a few limitations of an automatically generated web service
under WLS 7.0, and I am wondering if there is a way to manually edit
files to overcome these limitations:
- the parameter names have no meaningful names, such as string0,
string1, etc. This needs to be changed to at least use the names given
to the parameters in the EJB. I remember putting in a CR a while back,
but this has not been implemented yet.
- The documentation field says 'todo'. It would be nice to be able to
add some explanatory text there.
I looked for the WSDL file in the web-services.war file but could not
find it. Any pointers as to whether/how this stuff can be edited?

Indeed, you can do this. But if you have non-built in data types as paramaters
it gets pretty tricky.

Individuals from "development" (i.e. product managers, developers, architects, etc.)

to your satisfaction), but it sounds like you really just want acapability that
was in WLS 6.1, back in WLS 7.0 :-)
I'm assuming that you already know that you can extract the "static"WSDL from the
client.jar and put it anywhere in the .war, you like. The context rootwill be the
name of the .war file, without the file extension. For instance, if your.war file
is hello.war, the context root will be hello. If you then put the"static" WSDL (which
you extracted from the client.jar), into the root directory for for thisWeb Application,
the URL to it would be something like:
http://localhost:7001/hello/HelloService.wsdl

The assumption here, is that the client will download your client.jar(or whatever
you named it in your <clientgen> Ant task), and use a file:// URL to

it (the
"persisted" WSDL file) from within this archive :-)
If you use the Web Services Technology Stack from BEA
(lib\webserviceclient.jar)
on the client-side, editing this file affects the construction of theSOAP message
that is sent to the Web service, which I'm assuming is hosted on an
instance
of WLS
7.0. The names for the input parameters (and return value), will be
set
to those
that you specified in this WSDL, which is one of the things you said
you
wanted to
be able to do.
If you don't use the Web Services Technology Stack from BEA on the
client-side,
there
is still a very high probability that the WSDL processor of the tool
you
use, will
use this WSDL to create the SOAP message sent to your web service,
which
again is
assumed to be hosted on an instance of WLS 7.0.
If you use the "dynamically generated" WSDL (as opposed to the one inthe client.jar),
you will get the "generic" parameter names specified in it. The
"dynamically
generated"
WSDL is accessed by concatenating "?WSDL" to the location attribute,
of
your <service>
element.
Make sense?

The name of this .jar file is set using either of the following:

your

• Page regions.... how to edit?

Okay.. I'm new to this whole portal thing.. done lots of Java, HTML, CSS, you practically name it. We've setup our required 3 gig 'infrastructure' :-| .. got everything working. The demo portal stuff loads fine. Still haven't found the easy way to specify URL for accessing a newly created page group,... not a big deal.. BUT..
I can't figure out how to edit a default page of a page group and add or even edit regions! The documentation implies that there are 'edit' icons. ... all I see is the 'add / remove portlets' and 'arrange portlets'.. .. I'd like to actually modify the layout of the page, but can't get past this block.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,

You can use direct access URLs to access your pages.
If your page isn't based on a template, you should be able to access the page editing UI (including regions and portlets) by clicking the Edit link in the upper right hand corner of the page. Also, make sure that you're logged on as a user that has Manage privilege on that page (best choice is the same user that created the page).
