How to ensure a hierarchy tree's node is a internal leaf???????

as the title,if the node has the property to indecate it is a internal leaf!

To create an internal leaf node for a hierarchy tree item:
1. In the hierarchy tree, select the parent node for which you want to
create an internal leaf.
2. Right-click on the node and choose Create Internal Leaf from the
context menu, or choose Tree > Create Internal Leaf from the main
menu.
3. MDM adds an internal leaf node named u201C[parent]u201D as the first child of
the selected node.
NOTE ►► The name of the internal leaf node is the name of the
parent node in square brackets ([]).

How to get the current tree element (node/childnode/childnode/...) ?

I'm trying to create a kind of a navigation tree for my application.
It should represent some elements of an XML structure and some other nodes for other options.
The binding with the context is not a problem, I can create the tree up to all the levels I want to.
The problem now is, that I don't know, how to get the "current tree element", when there is any action.
For example:
public void onActionSelect(...) {
String test = wdContext.currentTreeNodeElement().getText();
wdThis.wdGetContext().currentContextElement().setSelectedElement(test);
With this method I can get the text of the "first level nodes". If I want to get the "second level node", I can do
String test = wdContext.currentTreeNodeElement().currentChildElement.getText();
..and for the next levels so on.
Isn't there any general method to get the information of the selected element without knowing before, whether it is a nodeElement or a nodeElement.currentChildElement or a nodeElement.currentChildElement.currentChildElement, ...?

How to give labels to all the nodes of a tree

I have an application in which I have written FTREE for a table ( Table A ) on a "col1" column which is of type NUMBER.
I have used direct query to show & create the hierarchy tree based on table A.
The query is like this:
SELECT 1,level,to_char(col1),null, to_char(col1)
from A,
start with col1= somevalue
connect by prior col1= parent_column
Another table ( Table B )has a description for the column "col1" in table A.
I would like to show the description from table B on the nodes instead of the number being shown from table A.
Any clues how I can do it. Using simple join in the above query is not possible.

1- i want to retrieve the data without submit the page where each time i select value from tree make page reload to update the tabular form with new value ,there is any way to pass the value of tree node to P40_SELECTED_NODE item and refresh tabular form without page reload .
2- i want when selected from tree run page process according to value of tree node i tray to create Dynamic action with *(jquery selector : div.tree li>a)* but the Value of node incorrect.

More accurately, I am trying to save/instantiate a

I downloaded XML Spy and used it to correct my earlier schema.
Qs:
In the instance document xml file;
1) How would one display the parent node?
2) If a child has a reference to a parent node as in the schema below, how can one know that the references are the same?
i.e. when the parent node is first declared and when it is referred to by the child.
Perhaps this raises a larger question - how does XML handle recursive references?

How to ensure FundCenter selection = blank when running FM drilldown report

How to ensure blank value in the "Funds Center" selection parameter when running FM drilldown report 2FMB40* (Assigned Funds Report)?
We tried to save a report variant with protected blank value in the "&0FICTR" variable (hierarchy node), and we also used FMEV to turn-off default value for this variable. However, during report execution it still takes value from the user parameter "FIS".
To prevent the system from using "FIS", we can only save the report variant with Funds Center = * (or the top-most node). Unfortunately, these would give different extraction results which we do not want.
Any advice how to get round this?

Referring SAP Note 390953, I don't know how to apply the solution of "using generic symbol # as an initial value"....
(1) I tried to save a report variant with # in the Funds Center field, but got error message "no matching funds center found" and couldn't proceed.
(2) I also tried tcode FMEV to set the variables &0FICTR, &0FICTRA ... with default value # (in table TKESV), yet still got no effect ... as user parameter "FIS" was adopted during report execution.
Any further suggestion please?

is there a documentation, that write down the funnction of all methods??? Please HELP!!! It would be a good solution to create a fast, and more powerful hierarchial tree in Forms6i. But should be a description about the COMCTL32.OCX "ComCTL.Treectl.1" methods...

I am a newbie of XML, I have a exercise which is creating a Tree View from XML file. But the trouble is I do not know how to read the content in one node of XML file. I decide to use the algorithm as following:
1. Create a GUI form which gives the ability for user to choose a XML file (ok)
2. Load XML and return the file (ok)
3. Read the file from node to node to create the node in Tree View (?!)

Please take e look at the following case:
In BPS we want to make a planning on groups of FI-GL-accounts. For the grouping of the GL-account we make use of the Financial Statement functionality in R/3. With a BC DataSource (0GL_ACCOUNT_T011_HIER) this Financial Statement is imported in BW as a hierarchy on InfoObject 0GL_ACCOUNT. As said, we do not want to make a planning on the GL-account but on the groups, i.e. the nodes of the hierarchy. We think in this case we need a BW hierarchy with postable nodes and make the planning on the inner nodes of the hierarchy.
So far so good, but when we execute the Manual planning the system responds with Hierarchy xxxx does not contain any postable nodes Anyone has a clue? Did we forget something?

How do i update a tree display?

I've created a tree, which will only be used as a display for values, but i'm not sure how to correctly update the tree if a value is changed.
I just want to update the text for the changed node, and display the new view of the tree.
Does anyone know a staight forward approach to doing this?
