How to enter negative value in a currency field

Hi Experts,
Please help me how to allow to enter negative value in a field on report selection.
I created a currency field on a report selection using PARAMETERS.
I can enter positive value in the field. But, I cannot enter negative value.
SAP shows an error message 00 126 "Specify positive values only".
I know I can place check ON at "with sign" option of the field in case I create the screen by myself.
However, I cannot do it on screen 1000 created by report program.

Prabhu--> Just Create a new Domain( select "WITH SIGN") and date elemet,And Use Data Element in your report.

You can do this method. In the screen , create a text field of CHAR instead fo creating an INT4 field.
I have created a field of CHAR of name say TEXT.
In the main program,
declare a variable of the same name ie. TEXT.
data: TEXT(5) TYPE C.
In PBO, just assign the negative values.
It will work.Since there is automatic conversion between character and integer data types, it will work for positive values as well.

Hi ,
if you use keyword MOVE u may loose the decimal and thoussan separator and if u don't want to loose them just call the FM ..HRCM_STRING_AMOUNT_CONVERT.
i doubt wherther it is HRCM or HCRM just try using *
this will suit ur requirement.

For example , I want to set a value to the Paid/Credited field in the Sales - A/R Invoice screen, which is a disabled field.

It depends on the business process required for generating the invoice. (What is this process just now?)
I can think on quite a few ideas, but can't be sure if any of them will match your specific requirements. I'll list a few here and see if any of them might work, or at least generate some new ideas for you. (Unfortunately you can't change an existing payment object to add an invoice to it at a later date, nor is the reconciliation process exposed through the SDK. This limits your options a bit.)
1) Is there a need for a separate delivery and invoice? Would skipping the delivery process and using the standard Invoice + Payment screen work for you? Stock would be issued, invoice created and payment matched directly to invoice without any work.
2) This might apply if the invoice is simply a one for one match with the delivery. Rather than just generate a payment in the delivery screen, generate the invoice and a payment at the same time. The standard invoice screen will then show it as paid. You can control the dates on the invoice raised through DI code.
3) Where do you write the Paid Amount to? How is it not available in the invoice screen? Put it somewhere accessible and write it to the user field.

I can't enter any value in the Text field, after loading flash files

Hi to all,
In my Java application, I'm using a text field and a panel to load flash files. I'm using JDIC 0.9.1 to load the flash files in the panel. The flash files are created by Flash CS4.
While running the application, I can't enter any value in the Text field, after minimize and maximize the application I can enter the values.
This problem happens after change the jre version from 1.6 to 1.7.
I'm getting the following exception while running the application.

Stock Posting List - Negative Value when Different Currency in PO

Hi experts,
We would like your help on the following scenario.
A Purchase Goods Receipt PO and a Purchase Invoice are added in SAP 9.0, on the same date, in a different currency from the system's currency; system's is Euro and Purchase documents are added in JPY (Japanese xen), i.e. 300 JPY. When checking the "Stock Posting List" report for a number of goods that were purchased with the above documents, the report presents the line of the Goods Receipt PO with the value of 270 JPY, and the line of the Purchase Invoice with a negative value, i.e.-15 Euro.
Has anyone faced the same issue?

Both queries have the default value of "Only Posted Values for Navigation".
As I was looking at this, I did realize the following though.
Remember, I mentioned that my zcurrency_mand field has a Reference Characteristic of 0currency.
Query 1: The key figure that is being converted is tied to 0currency in the back end. (this is the query that works).
Query 2: The key figure that is being converted is tied to 0inv_curr in the back end.
Both of the currency conversions are using zcurrency_mand. Should query 2 be using a new variable similar to zcurrency_mand, but with a Reference Characteristic of 0inv_curr?
If the answer is yes, I tried creating ZINV_CURR_MAND with Reference Characteristic of 0inv_curr, but am getting the following error when I try to save the changes to Query 2
[E117(BRAIN)] Errors: Variable ZINV_CURR_MAND2 is not permitted for the target currency.

In the above "xaml" file i am using the attribute "Readonly="False"" but its not effected on my code still my datagrid is in readonly mode, i don't know why it happens.

I guess you are working on CRM 2007 or CRM 7.0.
In new WEBUI in assignment block "item" your are able to enter the price in column "Net Value" .
The column can be added by button personalization on the right side.

Hi Chakrapani,
Use a alphanumeric system field, or create your own alphanumeric user field to store the value, either like "10^-2" or "0,01", and then use the BeforeAction = True of the Validate event to check if the entered number is correct.
If you want to store the value like 10-2 and use it in calculation, you'll need to create a function to return the numeric value of the string, in other words, a function the reads 10-2 and return 0,01.

I am new to numbers and am using version 3.5.2. I understand one can define a Pop-Up for cell value selection, but what if I want to also be able to specify a value that is not in the pull down? If your entry is a one time deal you could just delete the cells value and type in your choice. If you want to update your popup you need ot redefine its values. And then of course replace your old popups with your new one.

How to show negative value in Pie Chart from Webi?

I have below example data, I want to convert this to a pie chart in Web Intelligence, my problem is after I convert it to a pie chart, the revenue '-30' is shown as '30', looks like the pie chart is not suppor the negative value to show, I want to know if there is any workaround or solution to make the pie chart to show the negative value? Is this behavior is by design? do we have any official document to explain this?
The product I used is BOE XI 3.1 SP3.

Why are you showing this information as a pie chart? It doesn't make sense to try and display a negative slice in a pie chart. I can't really think of a logical way to try and draw a negative slice in a pie chart. With a pie chart you will need all your information to either all be positive or all negative, otherwise it doesn't work.
What you need is to have a bar chart, with positive and negative values on the y axis.
