How to escape the quotation mark?

I need to pass a Link Column from page 1 to page 2. I just found a bug in my program. When there is quotation mark in the string, the corresponding query cannot be displayed in page 2. However, using the same query, I can get the correct result in the SQL*Plus console. I don't know why. Is it because of the quotation mark? Thanks!

In my opinion, as long as I use :P126_TEXT in this query, and :P126_TEXT contains ", I will get this error:ERROR:
ORA-01740: missing double quote in identifier

After i'm parsing the text and links and adding them to the Lists in another class i'm doing a comparison using this Lists:

The problem is in the line:
if (ListsExtractions.lockedThreads.Contains(l_node.Text))
When it's getting to the line with the quotation marks it's never equal.
Now there are more quotation marks.
In general the problem when comparing both text if it's having quotation marks it's not the same.
So i have two options:
1. To fix it somehow so the quotation marks will be the same in both variables when comparing and also the same like in the original as they show in the html page.
2. To remove the quotation marks from both variables.
What should i do ? And how ? I was prefer to use the original quotation marks like in the original since they have a meaning in the place they should be. The question is how can i do it ?
This is example of the block from the html file where the text with the quotation marks is:

Ok, it is unclear on what is happening here.
Are you saying that when the webclient gets the data that it is not honoring the quote characters? Or the processing of the data buffer is causing issues?
This is what I see the of your example text which is trying to be parse out:

It appears to me that the escapes `’` does not have matching `“` anywhere within the tooltip. So it appears that the page properly places left quotes in when processing the page, but the raw html has broken text.
Hence a garbage in, garbage out situation.

Slideshow Captions - How Can I Delete the Quotation Marks?

I am creating a slideshow in Lightroom 3 using the Caption and Rating preset. There are no quotation marks around the metadata captions, but when I preview the slideshow all my captions have quotation marks. I have searched Edit>Preferences in the Slideshow module, but there is no mention of captions or quotation marks. How can I get rid of the quotes?

You will have to change the preset. Just click in the text box, then on the tool bar change Custom Settings, to Caption.
You can then save this as a new preset.

But my main problem is that when my application (VC++ 7) fires the following query in the oracle database , it does not return any rows.

Use two single quotes inside your literals to represent one single quote.
For example, this would find my name:
SELECT *
FROM emp
WHERE name = 'Michael O''Neill';
Michael O'Neill
(acutely aware of the apostrophe issues in the world)

Thanks again for the reply and now I am able to encrypt and decrypt my document number... one more question please : will it be possible to chnage the whole URL to some basic message type URL for eg:
let's say our URL is "http://testdoc/post?mssg" and I want to change this to as "OPEN DOCUMENT" and when user clicks on ""OPEN DOCUMENT" it will still direct to the original destination that is our original URL.
I have been told that we don;t want to maintain custom table until and unless it's our last choice.

For example: I search for a word with quotation marks by typing in: (")(\w+)(") in the "find what" field. What should I type in the "change to" field?

It's much simpler: find " and replace with " (make sure that 'Use typographer's quotes' is enabled in the preferences).

Ctrl-click on an empty box to check them all or vice-versa. If you don't have a use for them turn them off (Edit > Preferences > General > Show list checkboxes). I use them to make iTunes exclude stuff like bonus interview tracks from my devices and normal album playback.

How to send the quotation as attachment in notification

I have a small clarification regarding workflows. I am creating a Quotation and Iam trigering the workflow . The Workflow gets trigerred and a notification is sent to the Manager . The Manager can either Approve or reject . If Approved the status of the Quotation gets changed to Approved. if Rejected the status of the Quotation gets changed to rejected. I am also sending the sales order number. I have achieved upto this step.
But I am not able to send the Quotation as attachment in the notification to the Manager. The Business Object for the quotation is BUS20001.
Please guide me how to send attachments in notifications.

How to pass the Quotation Confirmation to Sales Order

In our scenario (own client), we have two stages in quotation process, they are quotation creation and quotation confirmation by customer during the quotation validity period. A Sales Employee/representative creates and confirms quotation upon customer request. Once Sales employee confirms the quotation then a Sales Accountant will creates the Sales Order.
As per our requirement the quotation confirmation will be displayed immediately and automatically in Sales Accountant Computer screen. So that sales accountant identifies the confirmed quotation and converts it into sales order.
How can we map this scenario into SAP. Please help us to find the way in SAP, your suggestions will be highly appreciated.

If this SO is processed partially - i.e. transactions happened - You cant change it
You can use ABAP and change it in Debug mode, but not advisable... Better to short close the SO and open a new SO for Balance qty

Normally the windows (Frame, Dialog) generated by swing don't contain a question mark. I want to provide the question mark to my java app, like I used to use it under Windows(tm)-Look&Feel.
